Destroyed: Four Marijuana Plantations in Camalú, BC = 58, 800 Plants

  The 67th Infantry Battalion calculates the destruction of 56,800 plants of the drug/  marijuana
Four marijuana plantations were destroyed by soldiers from the 67th Infantry Battalion in the Camalú municipal delegation, south of the city of Ensenada.

In a statement, the Mexican Army announced that on September 4, when conducting ground surveys in the Arroyo Valladares area, near Cerro Monarca, illegal crops were located.

After inspecting the area, it was preliminarily determined that the plantations covered an area of ​​14,200 square meters, with a density of four plants per square meter, for a total of 56,800 plants with a height of two meters

The military personnel destroyed and incinerated the plants,  there were no detainees.

The 67th Battalion makes available to citizens the telephone numbers 616 165 30 74 and 616 165 16 60 , as well as the email denuncia.67bi@sedena.gob.mx , to make anonymous complaints 24 hours a day.

  1. This is my own theory about the American couple found murdered. They were exploring on a back road and stumbled upon something or someone they shouldn’t have, unless it was theft of their perky vehicle as the sole motive. There are tons and tons of these plantíos and clandestine labs in that area.

    1. I can only imagine how many have changed their minds to relocate. We lived there in the late 60's and 70's and had no regret.

  3. They don't clear cut the contents of a home for discovery revenge. It is not uncommon to rip plumbing and copper wire out of the walls of a plundered home. Windows, doors, dishes, half empty bags of cement. When the possibility of this happening is raised to owners of remote homes they seem to just dismiss it. Having a tight bond with Méxicano neighbors does not take place. It's sad.

  4. I think you are commenting about the wrong reports.
    The soldiers will usually steal most of the grifa for themselves, or for the commanding officers.
