Video, Tamualipas: Zetas Vieja Escuela set fire to BIMBO trucks after their refusal to pay 'Piso'

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

In the last 72 hours in Ciudad Victoria, organized crime gunmen set fire to three Grupo Bimbo trucks and attacked their facilities with firearms, after the company refused to pay alleged extortion known as piso or quota.

"Quotas" for permission to operate are required of small businesses, restaurants, and bars, and has been happening for years as a diversification from drug trafficking.

Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m., the first attack occurred, outside a warehouse that the Bimbo company uses to store its products, located on Zeferino Fajardo Luna Avenue, in Ciudad Victoria.

A Bimbo employee responsible for the warehouse mentioned that they were unloading a truck when two gunshots were heard, forcing them to take refuge in the building and, when they fled they discovered that the unit was on fire.

The second fire of a Grupo Bimbo unit happened on Wednesday around 17:30 in the streets of the Promotora de la Educación Superior neighborhood in Tamaulipas.

A Bimbo employee responsible for the warehouse reported that they were unloading a truck when two gunshots were heard, forcing them to take refuge in the warehouse. Later, armed men set fire to Bimbo's vehicle.

Other companies that have suffered attacks for refusing to pay the extortions that organized crime requires in the capital of Tamaulipas are the Oxxo Chain of the Femsa Corporate and the Coca Cola brand.

Since 2010, the city of Victoria and the southern region of Tamaulipas have been under the command of the organized crime group Los Zetas, which has divided  into adversary groups and now the fraction that dominates the capital city  of Victoria is "Zetas Vieja Escuela".

  4. What idiots. These actions only permeate more poverty if the plant decides to shut down. Or relocate elsewhere for safety concerns.
How can a country rise from poverty when criminal activities are not so favorable for its citizens.

    3. @9:37 it's a spiral down the abyss! The further it goes the harder to turn around. Corruption is the core problem and is very difficult to break away from.

    4. Guerrero's Public corruption is at the top of state government in complicity with federal "authorities" since Acapulco was discovered as a tours attraction by former president and eternal criminal, Miguel Aleman in the 50s, the corruption in Tamaulipas comes from narco-governor Cabeza de Caca, see him for your license to be a criminal in the state.

  6. these are the zetas who extort... all these x-military old school zetas never learned to traffic drugs just extort and cobra piso... ZVE doesn't operate tienditas like other cartels se la pasan en ranchos y los grameros de las ciudadas le mandan la mordida del piso.. and they extort this way they'll send one guy and if u don't pay they'll lit u up, burn ur business, doxx the workers and their families, etc.. i'm sure bimbo will either close shop in the capital to save face or there will be a backroom deal.

or maybe im just rambling too much and they already pay cuota to CDG or CDN??

the only time in history it was ever like this in America was in the early 20th century with the Sicilian Mob but they were never this vicious.. and of course the crazy wild west which had a higher murder rate then Mexico at some times.

which brings me into my next post (yes im rambling) if anybody wants a idea of how the Norte will end up in coming generations just look at the Western Unites States and its history.

ANYWAYS ONE OF the reasons its so hard for the Central Goverment to govern el Norte of Mexico is the geography. The mountainous parts of el Norte have always been a logistical nightmare plus perfect for guerillas (which current DTOs operate like.... keep the estakas in ranches, the deep hills/ mountains). The infastructure lacks in el Norte to more closely integrate to the Southern part of the country.

AMLO is playing the long game. politics 101 your enemy today is your friend tomorrow. he's trying to bring NARCOS into the fold. if only the STUPID narcos could see this mexico could become sooooo prosperous.

and i'll end my post with how mexico could prosper

Mr AMLO build better INFRASTRUCTURE(which u are), invest in the next and current generations(im not sure about this. but reform the educational institutions), SEVERLY bring some of reforms against corruption(at first it'll be extremist though which fucking sucks bro), and open up the country to foreign investment the way Western world, East Asia (china, s korea, japan), and Africa did/is. (which they have started too recently with EPN Pemex reforms, Calderon granting mine pits to open PRIVATELY OWNED, and all the way back to el pinche rat Salinas)..

anybody care to either agree with me or call me retarded/pendejo then offer your thoughts?

ATTE. EL WERO SKIZOFRENIKO TU VECINO LOKO

(PS Chivis cuidese senorita, aqui todos las queremos. BUT I KNOW PINCHERS HATERS DONT LIKE THAT A LOT OF TRUTH IS BEING SPILLED HERE. THIS GOES OUT TO CARTEL NUT SUCKERS AND HATING ASS ROGUE GOVERNMENT ACTORS)

    arriba EUA Y MEXICO

    1. 11:11 are you promoting the Education and Economic Reforms of FECAL and EPN? they did not work Salinas Esther, foreign investment invests a few cents buying favors from politicians and reap billions for foreign investors who don't even make their money's worth, because their money managers steal a lot of it with insiders' deals!!!
Investors like Bill Gates want to steal Mexico's education, for only one eason, to privatize the budget, and to get paid for it. Like PEMEX, IN SPANISH HANDS, never made México any money, Iberdrola sucked from say one.
