Mencho's CJNG 'Grupo Elite' Exhibits tactical power on video

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

See what Mexico's Secretary of Security says about the video at the bottom

‘Pura Gente del Señor Mencho’

Loba Indomable posted this video on her twitter page, depicting CJNG in showy footage exhibiting its tactical power. In the video uniformed members of CJNG’s “Grupo Elite” shout “Pura Gente del  Señor Mencho”.

Wearing camouflage and tactical vests which display the “CJNG” acronym of Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación, “Mencho’s army” stands aside camouflage armored vehicles, including a narco-tank, while shooting weapons in the air.

A drone records the action, along with the weaponry on a display of Barret rifles, grenade launchers, long and short weapons as well as military equipment.

DEA refers to the group as "One of the fastest-growing transnational criminal organizations in Mexico, and it is among the most prolific methamphetamine producers in the world."

Thank you Borderland Beat Follower for the video in full length!

Alfonzo Durazo says “The propaganda video attributed to a criminal gang is being analyzed in order to confirm its authenticity and temporality.”

Better comments are those of  outraged people of Mexico responding to the absurdity of the secretary.

  39. At this point when CJNG do these displays I just think they are trying to hide their weakness. Why would you try to draw attention yourself? And also making yourself more of a target? The only answer that comes to mind is they are trying to project power they don't have.

I must admit though, I have for a long time believed CJNG is a lot of hype. Just as I did with the Zetas. The Zetas actually had sections at the border they controlled and an alliance with Arturo Beltran, and even with all that they just ended up destroying themselves.

It could even be their enemies posing as them trying to draw attention to CJNG.

Usually when armed groups do these types of displays are when they are fighting/entering a rival territory. These guys are just saying "arriva el Mencho", with no message?

    Something is fishy about this.

Well planned attacks on Law Enforcement and their families, politicians, judges, prosecutors, and if needed mass shootings like the one that took place in El Paso.

None of you realize life isn't a video game and the majority of you are not untouchable. Do you all remember what took place in Dallas in 2016. Being on the receiving end doesn't end well. 60. All theese sicarios Are helping Mexico’s dirty politicians that’s why they have so much support from the military and government to roam around taking out other organizations that get in the way of politicians and military bosses

  61. This is Mencho personal escort when he moves by land. Must front line guys are not equipped like this. But thats impressive I

  62. +1 for Mencho on this display. My question is how do you build an arsenal like this without being noticed?
I believe the Mexican government doesn't really care that much about this. As long as the cartels are hands off of them it's all good.

  63. How can you help Mexicans that don't give a shit about Mexico? The world looks at this and sees a country completely melted down...it's citizens hide in fear...it's children have no future.

  64. These are the same idiots that were in Guanajuato claiming to be elite but couldn’t light the explosive and no one had a match to light it when they were attacking the police station. I don’t know what’s worse. Being attacked by these losers or having to hear their mivhoacano high pitch panicked voice when attacking others.

  66. I guess the louder they scream the more they get paid 😂

  67. All this money spent on equipment and firepower and only a select few are really getting paid. How a convoy like that just casually goes to a gas station to fill up gas and get some snacks would be funny to see. Imagine what a cop thinks "Well you guys didn't run a red light so go ahead and carry on" lol

  73. Scary? Yeah.
It shows just how many gringos are sending billions of dollars in support to these terrorists. People do not understand the danger that honest Méxicanos face if they refuse to help the carteleros. And much of the money comes from ladrones that rob and steal north of the border. The big failure is not México. The big failure is to the north who is a thousand times as wealthy. And helpless to stop military long guns and weapons that kill police and the ejercito. Only when CJNG becomes visible in EE.UU crime will they notice. Or like in La Republica, return home and find everything gone, will they see there is a problem. Aqui, only the extraneous resorts and places for the very rich have effective police protection. Stopping gringo dolares is the only cure to this. Defund La Violencia. Una fantasma

  87. If it wasnt for CDS Marro would be dead right now, CDS has to face their reality CJNG is destined to expand like the zetas did in 2010-2011 and theres nothing they can do about it. the biggest chapulines of all time reside in Michoacan, FM viagras LNFM El Abuelo biggest bunch of traitors in mexico and even then CDS is desperate enough to back them

2nd time posting this comment and not being posted. Why even have a comment section if you're just going to pick and choose what comments will be posted and not. Comment section is for dialogue and discussion and this is not the first time commenting and my comment not being posted. But Sicario006 outlandish and obviously comedy comments get through every time. It doesn't make sense at all. Anyhow, I am a avid follower and been following religiously since '09. Lets be just a little transparent, please. Nonetheless, thank you to all the BB staff for your hard work, dedication and time & effort you put in day in and day out. It is appreciated more than you'll ever know. Stay safe and much respect 🙌.

    Best regards,
