Sicarios of Los Salazar fire hundreds of rounds at a former police officer

Zeta and other anonymous sources.

A group of armed men, allegedly from Los Salazar criminal cell, attacked the home of a former municipal police officer from San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora

Hooded and with heavy weapons, a group of men attacked the home of a former member of the Municipal Police of San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora on Sunday, April 12.

The authorities of the region said that Los Salazar are alleged to have links to CDS. The heavily armed attackers dressed in tactical gear, according to a video circulating on social networks, arrived at the home of the former police officer aboard on at least four vehicles, from which they are seen descending, surround the house and in front of the building's security cameras are shown to be carrying long guns.

Other recordings at the scene, taken by the actual sicarios, show them firing hundreds of rounds at the home while aboard their vehicle with heavy-caliber weapons.

The shooting lasted for several minutes, without any response from of any local police. Elements of the Sonora security forces detailed that the sicarios were looking for Marco Polo Márquez Tamayo, a former Municipal Police officer, who forms part of a criminal group and has influence in the Golfo de Santa Clara.

It turns out that the attackers belonged to the criminal group of Los Salazar, the armed wing of the Sinaloa Cartel in that region. Local media reported that the same house was attacked on March 23.

Data from the National Information Center of the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System (SESNSP) reveal that in the region 22 people have been victims of homicide so far in April.

The Salazars announced their presence to the underworld of Mexico in 2005, when violence intensified throughout Sonora and Chihuahua.

The members of this cell are involved in the growing, production and trafficking of marijuana/poppy that is smuggled to Arizona, United States, as well as the crossing of migrants to the US on behalf of the Sinaloa Cartel.

The Salazar cartel was headed by Adán Salazar Zamorano, alias “Don Adán”, who was one of the operators and lieutenants of Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán. The Salazars have a dispute with Los Memos, an organization headed by Adelmo Niebla González, “El Señor.”

They have also been in an extended conflict with La Linea of the Juarez Cartel and both groups have crossed state lines between Chihuahua and Sonora, looking for each other and trying to take control of neighboring plazas.

  1. Isn't the Salazar Cartel that killed LeBron mom's and kids, then torched thier SUV's to hide evidence? It has been many months and no one arrested.

    2. @8:42 Official reports say it la linea. They launched a assault that same Night in Agua Prieta which was a failed operation. According to government officials in Sonora, same people that protect "Los Paredes" have said La Linea went to Bavispe to block off the road from that town to Chihuahua to pervent Rivals from driving to Chihuahua. Which is one out of dozens or hundreds of roads connecting to Chihuahua which doesn't make any sense and for fact La Linea ain't stupid enough to Drive 110 km south to block one road. These Sinaloa cells have done stupid shit and framed La Linea númerous times. You know how quickly they switched up from Los Jaguares to La Linea

They the government tried to frame some farmers, but did not work out.

But the LeBaron and other mennonites have had their chances too, when their elders worked with their LeBaron congressman to monopolize water and land, helped by PRI and PAN, presidents and governors, and they did not care what the chihuahueños did for a living, then there were no complains.

There was no way to make sure they didn’t kill him or anyone else in the house. Unless they knew that no one was there. @ 4:13

It makes sense how mencho took their PLAZAS

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. La Linea is a bigger threat to CDS than Mencho ever will be... La Linea is more ingrained in the fabric of society where CDS holds it's power.. in other words you have La Linea competing with CDS in territory that is dominated by CDS for example you have Juarez Cartel presence in Navolato, in eastern Sonora, and el Triangulo Dorado as well as in northern Durango.. the locals are much more likely to switch sides to the Juarez Cartel then they ever would CJNG .. jalisco is considered an outsider in this region of mexico, the people from jalisco, michoacan, guanajuato, guerrero are very different than. Their customs and culture are very different, and thus would have a hard time trying take away the plazas from CDS.. hence why you see menchita fighting for control in places like hidalgo, veracruz, puebla, michoacan.. pretty much everywhere that CDS doesn't control.. so i ask what plazas did CJNG take from Sinaloa other than Guadalajara ?
