First CDG then Viagras, CJNG now weighs in with Covid-19 support for the people of SLP

By Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

Not to be outdone, CJNG gave out what they call “coronavirus covid 19 support”, which is printed on the labels of food “pantries”.

In the state of San Luis Potsi, on this past Sunday April 12th images of CJNG distributing “support from CJNG” which amounted to an amply filled bag of supplies and food.  The bags appear to be filled with a much greater amount of goods than CDG gave out in Tamaulipas, or Los Viagras gave in Apatzingán, Michoacán.

Cardboard boxes piled in the bed of several trucks in the rural areas of SLP transferred the bags of food and personal items.  Images circulated on social media networks.

Citizenry have been applauding the cartels who distributing the food, and have been critical towards the government, who they say have not provided aid to the society in the face of the pandemic health emergency.

CJNG delivered the support to 8 communities.

It should be noted that CJNG has long robbed trains and trucks transporting food and household supplies, then force markets and distributors to purchase the items from the cartel.

ORGANIZED CRIME

The thefts of vehicles that transport heavy loads and move merchandise in Jalisco have become a very powerful source of income for organized crime that operates in the state, according to inquiries from the Attorney General's Office.

As far as Governor Aristotle Sandoval Díaz's mandate (2013-2017) is concerned, criminal groups have intercepted shipments transported in these units, valued at not less than 1,162.2 million pesos, and others for 745 thousand dollars, according to the files of Prosecutor's Office. The transportation of goods in Jalisco thus appears as one of the links in the economic chain most exposed to the attacks of organized crime, whether in heavy-duty vehicles or trains (train robberies went from nine in the past six years to 181 (transparency sheet 01245217).

Not condoning these criminal organizations behavior when it pertains to killings, robberies, extortion ect.
But I do applaud these initiatives of assistance.
Mexico has an estimated 200 + thousand people unemployed and growing. Despite Mexico's financial hardships. The 1000 pesos monthly to its citizens provided by government can only go so far.

    2. so Robin Hood was two faced as well? Or is it cool cuz he was helping white people? Yes Mexico has dealt with a ridiculous amount of murders and disappearances but you can thank the CIA and DEA for that. Mexico was at relative peace before the dismantling of the major cartels that controlled all of the country like a sewing machine. The fracturing of cartels made it more violent. You can thank the war on drugs for that. You want to make a difference just legalize it all and this will stop. All we need to do is look back at history and find resolves to all types of issues. The government profits from everything they do remember that.

What a nice bunch of men they are.. ;) also the stickers they put on the boxes.. lmao that's all so cheap!! Guys: if you have to, then be real men - not berserks; that's low and easy path - make your money in drug trafficking. Only trafficking.. and use the money to develop your home country, create real well paid jobs in the open economy. Be big spenders and keep luxury shops alive and whatever more! 5. 2:02 drug traffickers with US government backing and astronomical amounts of impunity made Miami/san diego/ LA "the cities they are", the drug trafficking money they helped launder made them great financial success, while their modern mexican narcos have to hide, buy expensive weapons, pay governments kickbacks, hide fron rival politicians trying to hunt them, buy their own lives from kidnapping, get arrested and imprisoned and fined and get their table scraps confiscated and have to go around murdering each other to off the competition.
The mexican narcos are not the top beneficiaries of drug trafficking.
