  1. Dr.Sol was he killed? Baby Killer Cartel has killed so many, that I have no sympathy for this captured killer. They think by setting him free, he will change to a better man?

    1. He was obviously killed. If they made it seem like they were gonna let him live it was to play off as being the nice guys. No way in fucking hell is that guy still alive

  2. People from southern Mexico tend to use the word Cocho a lot. This word is considered part of the dialect of southerners. There is no equivalent for its translation into English. And the best translation for El Muletas would be Mr. Crutches. And when sicario #2 said Gallo (Rooster), that’s how Latin Americans refer to each other in terms of who’s who. The use of animals to describe another person are a common thing. A rooster is considered a brave fighter or a person who has what it takes to get things down. Mr. Fish and Mr. Strawberry shouldn’t be too hard to figure out if you have a basic understanding of metaphors.

    1. I dont understand the metaphor. What is the metaphor for fish and strawberry.

    2. they aren’t referring to him as brave. CJNG are considered gallos due to Being mencho “el señor de los gallos” also they use the word gallo like Michoacán and Guerrero use cocho.

    3. All my family is from michocan and none of them have ever use that word around me. Also i have visited Michocan a lot and never heard anyone say that word

    4. @9:23 Ok, so a Fresa in Mexico is what you would call a preppie or yuppie. If the person comes from a well off family they are called Fresas. Perhaps El Fresa comes from wealth. Could just as well be he loves strawberries or had something to do with them while growing up so he was given that nickname. I have a lesbian friend we call her La Pez. For the longest I thought it was just a coded way of not outright calling her gay. Turns out she loves to swim a lot. That’s how simple some of these names and their meanings are.

    14. Let me tell y’all what cocho is and gallo...... there is not really a meaning to what cocho is if you are with friends you can call one another cocho without being offended. But let’s say you are mad and call someone cocho you can really offend someone real bad. And gallo it’s rooster you just call someone gallo just because it could be because he is brave like the roosters that fight. It has nothing to do with el me Chi being el senor de los gallos.

  14. Everyone at BORDERLAND BEAT do this for nothing in terms of money.I imagine they do it out of concern,to spread the truth, interest,to inform the world etc,of the plight of Mexico.
So basically we should be thankful that these few get off their arses to put work and effort into this blog so we can all read and be educated to the truth.Bottom line no one should complain or whine like a bitch(unless your millie)so be supportive of them all, thats it

  16. He was most likely picked up by the Policia Michocana/Sedena/GN and then handed over to La Familia Michocana de Guerrero. What an idiot first of all you should always carry a side arm just in case you get caught these guys aren't going to let him go. He has zero common sense. It is like these people don't realize in the shit they got themselves in.
