The Chapo 701 brand, of the daughter of the boss, today presented the new product in the framework of Intermoda; offers a lager and handcrafted drink.

Alejandrina Guzmán, through the 701 brand, will sell the craft beer with the alias of the drug trafficker who is  imprisoned in the United States,  the former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel, Joaquín Guzmán Loera: El Chapo.

At the event that brings together several fashion and other products firms, Intermoda México, held in Guadalajara, Jalisco, highlighted the display that exhibited El Chapo beer; where Adriana Ituarte, told the media about the launch.

Identified as a sales manager, Ituarte said that it is necessary to comply with the procedures before the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), so it will soon go on sale to the public.

"The beer has a four percent degree of alcohol brings Malta, rice and honey and is cataloged as handmade craft beer.  The the idea is to sell it to breweries that specialize this type  of drink", shares Ituarte.

Beer will have a cost of about $ 3.72 and is expected to be distributed in bars and pubs across the country.

The brand offers lager and craft beer and uses the face of the capo sentenced to life imprisonment as a logo.

  5. Original article says; "Drink like a Kingpin". Truly doubt that sipping watered down coffee or any other substance while in prison can be considered lavishing.

For those who know no better.

  15. Beer, shirts, random trinkets.... any jack ass who buys this shit should consider the fact they are assisting with laundering blood money obtained through death dealing and the exploitation of good hard working Mexicans. I’d laugh at the ignorance of these losers if it wasn’t such a serious show of disrespect to victims of cartel violence

    1. 8:22 if laundering drug money is a big concern, I hope chapo beer gets fined some billions of dollars like HSBC and other money laundering banks, senator Mitt Romney who is a bishop in his church believes money gets sanctified when given up for investment as his Bain investors did in his Cayman Islands enterprise...

    2. Unfortunately, the continuous laughter we give nowadays are that of ignorant behavior than those of a good laughing matter. The ignorance of drug consumption and materisls associated with will not be going away anytime soon.
Save the pleasure of laughter where merited.
