An entire family of police officers was kidnapped by an armed command in Guanajuato
The active municipal agents of Irapuato were kidnapped while resting at home. The youngest daughter managed to escape so she gave notice to the authorities.

The tranquility of Sonia Arellano and her husband Ramón, both active municipal police officers from Irapuato, Guanajuato , was interrupted when an armed command entered their home in the Villas de San Cayetano subdivision.

The events occurred early Tuesday while agents one of their days off together. Then, the alleged hitmen arrived in two vans, one white and one gray. They knocked down the door and took the couple along with their first-born 27-year-old son. Good News Just in:

Carlos Zamarripa Aguirre, General Prosecutor of Guanajuato, just confirmed that the municipal Police Woman Sonia Arellano Fonseca and her son Francisco Ramón were released, but the officer's husband is still deprived of his freedom.

"They released two of them, we don't know more conditions, but our investigators are in contact with "them" to do the same ," Prosecutor Carlos Zamarripa said in an interview, literally, a couple of hours ago.

The youngest daughter of the victims managed to hide, because her brother turned off the light of the building. A witness said that two detonations were heard inside the house.

Shortly after the incident, elements of the corporation received an emergency call and began a search operation.

The Regional Prosecutor B said that an investigation folder has already been opened to clarify the facts, and be able to initiate investigations on this issue.

UPDATE: Unconfirmed , but Published by Proceso, thanks to BB commenter Abraham:
The agent of the Municipal Police of Irapuato, Sonia Arellano Fonseca, recognized by the municipal government in August with the Police Merit award, was found murdered and dismembered on a rural road in that municipality a day after with her husband - also municipal police - and her son was violently taken from her home.

The agent's body was placed in a black bag that was found on a dirt road in the community of La Coyotera, on Wednesday afternoon, of which finding was given to the authorities through a 911 call.

Sonia, her husband Ramón - also a municipal police officer - and her son had been violently taken from their home located on Rio Guanajuato Street in the Villas de San Cayetano neighborhood, early Tuesday.

This was confirmed by the regional prosecutor Carlos Zamarripa, although at first he claimed that it was the woman and her son who had been released and were safe.

Meanwhile, the mayor of Irapuato, Ricardo Ortiz Gutiérrez , regretted what happened and recalled that last August, Sonia Arellano was recognized for her valuable police work ( first photo ).

“I think that in these cases, we all have fear in the end, but that is not going to stop us. We enter this, because we have traction on this. The good ones are more, ” he declared on the case, referring to good cops versus bad cops.

According to the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System in Guanajuto, there are only 8 complaints of the crime of kidnapping from January to October.
Too many deaths against police:
Guanajuato is one of the states with the highest number of police killings so far in 2019, this is revealed by a count of the civil organization Causa en Común , ie Common Cause.

Until the end of October, in the entity governed by the PAN Diego Sinhué Rodríguez , 46 agents had lost their lives.

Irapuato, Celaya and Salamanca are the three municipalities with the most police cases and Public Security elements killed. Among the three, there are 20 deceased police officers out of the 46 who have died in the entity.

Celaya and Irapuato accumulate seven victims each, followed by Salamanca, with six elements. In the latter municipality, five custodians of the Social Reintegration Center (Cereso) Mil, were ambushed and killed by armed men, on September 19.

León is still on the list with four police officers killed, followed by San Francisco del Rincón and Pénjamo, with three deaths of security elements each.

For several years, the state of Guanajuato has been experiencing unprecedented violence, mainly generated by drug cartels and organized crime cartels, which also engage in kidnapping, extortion and fuel theft.

Although Guanajuato is currently one of the states with the greatest presence of National Guard (GN) elements, violence has intensified due to the dispute between the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) whose leader is Nemesio Oseguera “El Mencho ” and the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel, led by José Antonio Yépez Ortiz “ El Marro ”.

  1. Just another day where criminals run amok in Mexico. One cartel vying for control over regions of interest.
No point of arguing the facts. Nor raising concerns to government officials for peace and stability.
These activities will only follow until rule of law are implemented.

  2. I met an immigrant girl from Leon, Guanajuato working at a Taco Bell in my California town. Mara is probably no older than 18, if that. Beautiful young woman, smart and demure. A treasure by all accounts. Trying hard to improve her English. She loves her home town. Came to the USA 3 years ago, misses home but she's making $13 an hour here.
I know she is undocumented but to send her back to the hell her region has become would be inhumane. The greed of the capos is robbing the youth of the country of their legacy, breaking apart families with violence and insecurity.
These are crimes against humanity and it would not surprise me to see the Hague, an International court tribunal write warrants for the apprehension of Mencho and his likes.

    1. Many do have legitimate reasons for leaving. A sad situation for many fleeing many countries indeed.
However, despite the lack of humanity in part of US immigration policies. Its important to voice the irregularities of an unjust rule that is broken.

  6. Thank the Mexican President that want to give cartels huggs instead of arrest.
Mexico is a Lawless country with no back bone for justice.
I am ashamed of being Mexican decent because my people are too stupid,

always behind in everything when it should be a wealthy country being next to USA, China took Mexico place.

Start with death Penalty and the right to bear any kind of arms with permission to also carry firearms. Regular citizens get arrested at border receive years in jail for a bullet or firearm, but the cartels get hugs President taking money
