CJNG: A house with drugs, weapons and vehicles seized

Tala, Jalisco - Elements of the National Guard seized a house in Ahuisculco

Elements of the Mexican Army seized a house where they found drugs, weapons and vehicles. Apparently, it was owned by a Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación cell.

According to the authorities, the units made a tour of Morelos Street, in the town of Ahuisculco en Tala, when they observed that a subject was on the lookout for the movement of their activities.

When trying to apprehend him, he entered a house and gave his accomplices notice of the presence of the troops. Afterwards the subjects left through the back.

However, three identifications from the National Electoral Institute were located in the house, as well as a CURP (Clave Única de Registro de Población/Unique Population Registry Code) card and a circulation card (vehicle travel card). But it is currently unknown if it corresponds to some of the insured vehicles.

They also found a knife and caps with the acronym of the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación. They also located more than 216 bags containing, apparently, marijuana, and another 151 with rock cocaine, 320 bags with crystal meth and 47 with cocaine.

The seized vehicles is a 2015 black pick up with Aguascalientes plates, and a silver gray van from the state of Jalisco. In addition, they found an AK-47 rifle, as well as a 22-caliber handgun.

They found 24 magazines for various types of weapons including 5.56, 2.23 and .22 caliber. In addition, they had 349 magazines, mostly for long guns.

The seizure was made available to the Attorney General's Office.
