CJNG announces its arrival in Tepalcatepec; says their war is against “El Abuelo” Farías

Tepalcatepec, Michoacán.- A heavily armed group that identifies as members of CJNG, announced its arrival in the municipality of Tepalcatepec, in the Tierra Caliente region of Michoacán

Through a video broadcast on social networks, a command of 18 men ensures that the fight is not against the population of the municipality located 250 kilometers from Morelia, the state capital, but against “El Abuelo”.
Abuelo circled in red with EPN security appointee at the height of the Autodefensas movement

Poncho
On behalf of the armed subjects, one of the members affirms that they belong to the group of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”, leader of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation C and warns that the war will be against the “El Abuelo” cartel and every person who "raises a gun" in support of him.

The spokesman for the armed civilians explains that the conflict with "El Abuelo" Farías arose since he supported another subject referred to as "El Poncho" de Los Reyes" [Alfonso Fernández Magallón].

In the video, civilians are exhibited in military-type uniforms and high-power weapons, including a barret.

  1. Note: abuelo was a narco working under the false pretense of being an autodefensa.

Someone bring me up to date...I am pretty sure Poncho was with CJNG--what happened? turncoat to viagras?

    2. There's a song by noel Torres about him from like 2013. It talks about him being an autodefensa. Probably just a way to recruit more people

There is a lot more than lemons and avocados involved here.
Very cute new uniforms, make las Menchas look like the real thing, maybe with new former Mexican military in the mix.

    4. 5:30 - dude wearing a mask doesn’t make you a coward... It makes you intelligent. This isn’t a game or some pride challenge. This is warfare. Showing your face to your enemy, especially when entering a plaza, is a bad idea. Just makes it easier for your opp to kill you. I’m sure there is something in the art of war that would back up what I’m saying... maybe lol

I mean these guys are cowards, but not cause of the masks in my opinion.

    5. They cover there faces because all cartels are fighting. It gives them a sense of security plus security forces ( I say that lightly as some are governments forces moved on) they videotape there crimes as a detterent to other cartels like stringing bodies up etc So far its not worked I blame the USA. Should've left Chapo

I heard stories where CT robbed people and raped young girls here , as well as holding a perimeter blockade not allowing goods or people to enter/exit back then with no government help in sight .
Everyone was hoping the worst was behind them.

    9. CJNG aint nothing compared to Zetas, Zetas at one point were running the entire country the mexican government formed an alliance with the sinaloa cartel and the rest of the cartels to fight them, and still couldnt beat the Zetas. The civil war within the zetas was what destroyed them, they went to war with eachother and split into two cartels, Cartel del Noroeste and Zetas Viejas Escuela. Z-3 Is still alive by the way everyone in mexico knows this and it is rumored he is back leading the ZVE.

      Delete
    10. Chivis, but he is tho. No one is perfect but you can’t deny that he has a wife, a girlfriend, and a weekend fling. I know it’s “different” in Mexico but he still is a womanizer. Remember the tv special they did oh him, he had his wife and the side piece and was trying to Mack on other ladies. I’m not saying he isn’t a good guy at heart, he just has flaws like all of us.

      Delete
    11. what I am saying is of all the hings to write about Doc you come up with that? He is the first to say he is imperfect. and Mexico is VERY different. It is not unusual for a prominent man to have "two families. People cheat. He has suffered much in his journey to protect michoacanos. he was released with out charges after years of imprisonment and he was changed mentally. it took months to restore his mental and emotional health. He is a wonderful person, but yes imperfect, and we did discuss his weakness. but at the bottom of it, it was not my business---it was between he and his wife

      Delete
    12. Yes Aussie. His last text to me was a foto sent about 2 hrs before hs arrest. Castillo announce that they confiscated his cell and were going to investigate anyone he communicated with.

      I was very concerned.

He has a good heart. He lived a comfortable life in NorCal for years and was president of a migrant org. WHich is where I heard about him. He was a translator for the Red Cross in the U.S. and my friend an atty help the org pro bono.

When Michoacan heated up he left his comfort to return to Michoacan to work protecting the citizens who were under siege by templates.

All that said, he would be the first to say he was an imperfect man. He wishes he was a better husband/father and devoted more time to his family. What he did in his personal life was not important to me---what he did for the people did.

My fam is from Tepalcatepec and I’ve heard story about him and his brother. They have always flown straight (scareface). The towns people are really gonna back this man up. Interesting to see what will happen, I thought Mencho was cool with him from what I’ve heard. Interesting to see what unfolds, I hope they come to an agreement and avoid the bloodshed.

      Delete
    11. Chivis, because Abuelo knows how to work and leave the working people alone. He doesn’t create a lot of noise and only resorts to violence when attacked first. He is old school and takes care of his people. They are fiercely loyal to him in Michoacán. This battle is going to be interesting. I personally think CJNG will lose against him. Just my opinion though.

    12. Chivis :el abuelo is one of the real people that is respected in michoacan not from fear but because of his actions he knows the difference between the bussiness and the people 2 different things that some seem to forget. He has bedn ther for his people in his area when zetas ran wild in michoacan abuelo and his family and the towns people stood ther ground and they have won the respect of mucha gente in that area he has a chance to make a change in michoacan but not by himself he needs for 2 of the older autodefensas to join the fight and of course los viagras y lnf but we all know how this story ends in michoacan they all backstab each other at the end .

    15. the reason alot of people support him its cause his town is really calm and he does not fuck around with the people from his town and to all those people who go out protest for him get payed by el abuelo later on but the main issue from mencho and el abuelo was because of poncho from los reyes he did some business with some other cartel and the cjng told abuelo to not support pancho to stay out of it but abuelo was really close to pancho and was not going to go against pancho so they had like 3 days trying to fix things between abuelo y mencho out of respect they had but neither side came to terms this is not good for el abuelo honestly i know he has his town on lock but they are going to heat up tepeque and put him on the spotlight not good for him at all

      Delete
    16. Thank you for your input. i believe what you say is true. I had a difference of op with doc about abuelo. he contended he was a good person towards the people.

    1. Some cartels have their own molds for weapon manufacturing. Alot is also sourced from the US or south American countries. South America was flooded with guns during the cold war and some illegal gun brokers have been able to capitalize on the corruption these south American nations carry among their military ranks.

To me if they didnt have that "D.A.R.E" program for us in elementary school,Then we would never have known what drugs are. Cuz i remember in 2nd and 3rd grade kids wearing these black shirts with D.A.R.E on it in red lettering. We are kids so of course we are curious. Instead of introducing such so called KNOWLEDGE to the little ones maybe they need to help the ones that the little ones look upto and look at how much of an impact one has on the up and coming... There's always gonna be a war on drugs obviously that war has been going on before me and will be going on after me. Its not the damn drugs fault that something thats made by another human being can make one sell their soul for a high. Come on since we have been in diapers thats when we got our first high/rush, or mind altering feeling. If you think not, Well genius wtf did you do when you spin around and around so many times you gonna say you only did that one time and you told yourself never would u do it again. Hermanos do.
Michoacan was the craddle of marcial, maciel, he had his own secret communist cult inside the catholic church in the state and took it to monterrey where real money could be had from real rich Widows. Michoacan also has a story of religious persecution and fanatism with the Cristeros and shares it with the Jaliskas and Guanajuato.
The murderers of Acteal-Chenalho got their preacher a new church, and George Soros paid for their appeals that got them released less than ten years after murdering more than 60 people who refused to accept the new progressive ideas of their murderers, including their religious point of view.
Hermanos in Mexico means a religious brotherhood, and there is a lot of proselytizing all over the country, one operator was el Chayo...
You need to read a little more religion on everything Mexico, and be ready to be surprised.

You compras drogas you buy the sangre de los inocentes. Puro evil.

    3. El Mayo maybe old but still holds a lot of power. & tbf I think he's out country. Far 2 much heat saying that he has most of the sinaloen cartel money. He's no doubt in South America, once Chapo got caught. The writing is on the wall, he's not as ruthless

  22. Everybody who keeps saying "end the war" or "enough with the violence", obviously it's not going to end as long as the world has an appetite for drugs. The best you can do is have organization & order within the cartels in mexico

    1. TRUE, there should be a governing body that can divide up the territories so everyone can profit in a way where there is less of this conflict, for starters.

    2. seems good in theory but we all know its not that simple they'll always be a cartel who hates another cartel or one that wants the whole monopoly. Seems to be human nature to be selfish and crave power the desire is stronger than the drugs they peddle.
