CJNG: 'El 20', prison murder or suicide? .

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat from Milenio

Madrigal Virrueta, leader of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation in the South Coast region, had been in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Prison since last March.

The Prosecutor of the State of Jalisco, investigates the death of Heleno or Eleno Madrigal Virrueta, aka “El 20”, leader of CJNG in the Costa Sur region, who had been in the Guadalajara Metropolitan Prison since last March.

Inmates who shared a cell with Lieutenant of Nemesio Oceguera Cervantes, leader of the CJNG, were the ones who gave notice to the prison authority.

“They realized that Helenus was suspended and tied around the neck of one of the beams of the cell, so they requested the support of the custodians who were on duty at the time, who could do nothing qs he was already deceased,”says a press release.

The public ministry will investigate whether the death of the boss was suicide or a homicide.

As will be recalled, on March 16, federal authorities arrested Heleno Madrigal Virrueta along with four others in the town of Tequesquitlán , municipality of Cuautitlán de García Barragán, south of Jalisco. That day several artillery helicopters flew over the property owned by the capo.

The body of El 20 was transferred to the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) to perform the autopsy. In addition, experts from the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences as well as the agent of the Ministry began collecting evidence in the place.

Heleno Madrigal faced a process for the crimes of weapons, crimes against health and organized crime. I was waiting for the judge's resolution.

  3. He couldn't stand being locked up in a dirty cell, day after day. The cartel they not send a suitcase full of money to the judge. Therefore his life was taken.

    1. Shit happens on the US too, Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide again and this time he was successful, the prior time somebody said a corrupt former police officer tried to choke him to death, now without a cellie and off supervision ordered by prison rules he was successful, less somebody finds out more deep secrets of his, his buddies, his associates, his marks, and his godfathers.

Period. full Stop, the end, really?

  8. Is he CJNG or Nueva Plaza? Either the contras killed him (knowing he was about to be released) or he was about to snitch. Or bad blood amongst colleagues?

    1. I highly doubt he was about to snitch. In Mexico its so easy to get out that no one snitches in that sense. Every upper echelon drug dealer snitches on their rivals but that's a different type of snitching

      Delete
    2. @5:29 actually, it is quite the opposite. It is not easy to get out unless you have money. People don’t snitch because this kind of thing can happen to you, if you try to snitch on a higher up, who is more connected, more than likely he will be notified and you will be silenced

      Delete
    3. You both are correct but for different reasons. Everyone snitches because they torture people. And yes, You need a lot of money in Mexico to get out and most of the corrupt officials will only let a few personal favors slide even with a monthly payment. You'd better believe that the local boss ain't gonna try to pull those kinds of strings unless its for a close circle of friends and children.

  9. Two things await a narco, prison and death. His only escape was taking his life otherwise it would have been more painful.

  10. Who cares its a dead cjng member. Cjng are scumbags

    1. In Mexico all cartel members are scumbag POS: extorcion, secuestró, huachicoleo, asesinos y vende drogas. Pero el que no tranza no avanza verdad.
