Video: Armed attack against El Sincler

Cancun, Quintana Roo.- A shooting that took place this Wednesday afternoon in Region 92 was carried out by the presumed leader of a drug trafficking group, nicknamed "El Sincler", who was injured, when facing a commando of armed subjects who tried to kidnap him and resulted in the death of one of the alleged assassins.

The deceased had a tactical uniform in his hands and was carrying a rifle, and a cloned Federal Police badge as identification, in a situation that drew attention to the scene and later investigations determined that it was fake.

The first versions indicated that the alleged leader of a criminal group, identified as Raúl MA, alias El Sincler, was located on a street in Region 92, near Miguel Hidalgo Avenue, at around 6:30 p.m. this Wednesday. when he suffered an attempted kidnapping by a commando of armed individuals, who tried to pose as federal police, with false identifications.

However, El Sincler noticed the arrival of the hired assassins in a white Suburban-type truck and drew a gun to face them, with which he fired and killed one of them. The alleged assailants fled to Avenida Kabah and, at the crest of Region 229, more shots were reported for the alleged persecution.

In the confrontation, El Sincler was wounded in one of his legs and could no longer run away. Moments later, paramedics from the Red Cross transferred him to the General Hospital, where he remains as a detainee for the crime of homicide.

The investigations indicated that the now injured had no bodyguards and he that he was carrying a pistol, which was secured at the scene. As background, El Sincler was captured in the city of Merida in September 2015, by agents of the State Judicial Police, who brought him to Cancun in compliance with an arrest warrant and two years later regained his freedom.

Another version.

Raúl MA, alias "El Sincler", who was a staunch enemy of "Doña Lety" and who is rumored to control the sale of drugs in the Hotel Zone, was the target of a long-arms attack this afternoon in Region 92 of this city, located behind the taxi drivers union, which left a person dead.

Apparently, eight people with long weapons, all disguised as agents of the Federal Police; However, the bodyguard of "El Sincler" repelled the attack, so these hit men escaped, except for one, who was shot to death,  with a high-powered weapon in his hands. The target of the attack was wounded, but they could not kill him.

The weapon, apparently of Russian manufacture, is similar to the copkiller used by the attack on the Prosecutor's Office almost two years ago. The deceased carried a Federal Police badge that upon review in the databases turned out to be false.

Police impersonator "El Sincler", 42 years old, was injured, with a bullet wound in his thigh. He was rushed to the General Hospital, where immediately they had to double security, for fear that some armed group would come to finish killing him or rescue him.

Police forces arrived from the three levels of government, Army and Navy, as well as the Prosecutor's Office.

El Sincler was an ally of Doña Lety, the self-proclaimed "Owner of Cancún", who in the government of Roberto Borge controlled the traffic of narcotics from Bonfil.

Eventually they had a falling out and he had to flee the state, taking refuge in Mérida, where he was arrested in 2015. "Doña Lety" would also fall, a year and a half later.

Despite being accused of homicide and allegedly having control over taxi drivers who distribute narcotics in the Hotel Zone, Raúl M. was released in 2017 on the orders of a judge in Cancun.

All to keep drawing US dollars or else... KIDS ARE LIVING THERE LIKE TRAPPED RATS AMONG THE DESTRUCTION.

  6. El Piolin/JP (CJNG’s man in TJ) killed in Puente Grande yesterday/last night. Guess CJNG snuffed him out before he could be sent up north. Sets quite the precedent for CJNG operators; if you’re arrested and set for extradition, CJNG will kill you before you get to the US. Not really a new thing in the Mexican drug war—Chapo tried to kill his pilot several times before the pilot was extradited—just haven’t heard of CJNG doing this.

  10. The weapon in the video is an FN Herstal P90, of Belgian design and manufacture, certainly nothing to do with the Russians. It fires a 4.7mm round which like the FN 5.7 pistol, does penetrate level 3 body armor
