Fentanyl Lab Busted by the FGR in García Nuevo León

Elements of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic ( FGR)) secured in the municipality of García , Nuevo León, a warehouse  used as a laboratory for the manufacture of the synthetic drug known as fentanyl. Some sources are reporting the facilities were thought to be a winery.


According to the dependency headed by the public prosecutor Alejandro Gertz Manero, it is considered the "most important and historical assurance carried out in our country", due to the production capacity of the drug 50 times more powerful than heroin.

The staff of the FGR arrested Guadalupe Almaguer , alleged chemist and owner of the company Ampex Chemicals , who was at the disposal of the judicial authority for his probable responsibility in the commission of the crime against health , in the form of production of chemical precursors of fentanyl. 

Following up on an investigation carried out between the FGR and the DEA, the Federal Public Ministry requested and obtained from a control judge a search warrant of the Federal Criminal Justice Center based in Nuevo León, which was completed by elements of the Federal Ministerial Police and specialized experts, in two homes that were they locate in the environs of the colony Industrial Park City Mitras and La Silla Pedregal.


In the first building, the agents of the FGR found a laboratory area with instruments, machinery, chemical substances, a bar, notebooks with annotations in the matter and a refrigerator , as well as other spaces where they were located tambos, ie barrels, boxes, jars and shelves.
The consumption of fentanyl, a drug considered up to 50 times more potent than heroin, has caused the deaths of thousands of people in the United States and in Mexico, and threatens to become a public health problem.

  4. Pos como chingados le hacen, El fentanyl kills a lo guey,
    people say a picture of it may kill half a city
    I doubt these technicians use protection or sheyet.
    The producers could rent some busses and get people there for free to show support, it works for presidential campaigns on the US.
