Cuauhtémoc .- A Mennonite businessman was abducted while he was in a well-known restaurant in the commercial corridor of Cuauhtémoc, this morning.

Within minutes of the event, a van was found, which apparently belongs to the victim, which has traces of blood, so it is presumed that the person was wounded.

  1. Cuauhtémoc is ridden with gangs, sicario's and narco's. Just as well to pass through it if you need to travel in that direction. So many places like that here. Madera and places near Casas Grandes. Scary to travel into the mountains. Just about everywhere you go is dangerous. I have only lived here in Chihuahua for 10 years and have seen two executions and have had 11 close friend's that have been killed that had nothing to do with crime. Just the opposite. They were hard workers and good people. The last two great fiends worked hard legally on the USA and saved up enough money to buy a house, cattle and a big piece of property here. They were found along with two relatives shot in the head on their own property while trying to live out their hard earned dream. They worked many years in Odessa, Tx and saved their money to retire and raise cattle. Jorge and his wife Rebecca were amazing people. My wife and I enjoyed spending time with them. I will miss them, and remember them for the rest of my life. This can happen to anyone here when you least expect it and when you are living right. I am sure the killer's will never be found. https://www.eldiariodechihuahua.mx/estado/Esposos-entre-masacrados-en-rancho-de-Manuel-Benavides-20190119-1467134/

    2. Being from Chihuas myself I can tell you that the amount of ppl involved with cartels is baffling, it’s considered an industry in this state and the most humble of ppl can be connected without you ever even imagining it.. trust me I too have been surprised.. I’ve had close family that was murdered in 2010 in their living room.. turned out that my cousin’s husband who was a welder had been creating secret compartments in vehicles for people that he should’ve never dealt with .. ppl in Mexico struggle to make ends meet it’s not easy it’s rough and one can find oneself involved in the blink of an eye without ever seeing drugs or holding a weapon

    3. @9:55, Why did they kill the family, if you don't mind me asking. Did the welder fabricate something for a rival cartel? That would just suck to do some side work and get killed for nothing. Not saying the welder is innocent but what if they approached him with a plomo or plata offer? Which one are you gonna go with?

    4. Could have prevented if Mexico’s citizens are allowed to carry!

    5. 6:48- my condolences

    6. 1:56 To your question about Plata o Plomo? The end result is always the same. Not killed by those who offer but from those who are rivals.

    7. 2:31 It could also have been prevented if drugs had not been illegal, or if america did something about its sickening bloody drug addiction

  2. Those mininitas have money, they are well known for their yellow cheese within northern states.. it's was 9nly a matter of time that these people got taxed by cartels.
They are in chihuahua but have their own community (that would not fly in many mexican states or especially in the U.S) there was a few town 8n michoacan that were like that with only white people but later integrated with the rest of bgg the Mexican people.. my great grandmother was from one of the towns and I could feel the look of resentment and racism when she stared at me but loved my white cousin lol

    1. Actually Mennonites have their own communities all across Mexico in various states and the same inside the USA. They are law abiding people (for the most part) and follow the rule of law wherever they are. Their communities are all one large section of privately owned land and each home or business is simply sub-leased. Therefore because the actual land is one large land title they are free to do with it as they want and allow whoever they want to sublease. I'm sorry if you feel that is racist but you have the same freedom and ability to buy land yourself and do the same as they have done.

    2. 9:23- agree with you mostly. But the reason mennonites are in Mexico is not entirely innocent. They are sects of the mormon church that have broken away to keep with the old teachings and beliefs such as plural marriage. (My wife is ex mormon)

    3. The Mennonites are most CERTAINLY NOT a sect of the Mormon church. They have absolutely nothing to do with the LDS Church. They are their own church. Google it.

  4. Cuatemoc is a nice city. Better than chihuahua. Shopping is great. Not too much traffic.mennonites own half of chihuahua. Instead of them working for mexicans. Mexicans work for them. Crazy

    1. Hay pistas de aterrizaje cerca de las colonias menonitas pero they hide with machine, camionetas and fences until los aviones must use in Septiembre to Diciembre. Los menonitas own normal and secure routes to Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and other places all year but they have problems when narcos make them work because los menonitas do not carry contraband for which they do not own.

  10. Are the Mormons and Mennonites in Mexico intertwined at all? I know the Mormons in Mexico are well armed and will fight back. I wasn't sure about the Mennonites however.

    1. No, Mennonites are not Mormons. They have been in Mexico for about 100 years. They immigrated from Canada looking for the freedom to educate their children according to their religious beliefs. The Canadian government was interfering with their religious freedom back in the 1920s. They did not move to
Mexico to exploit anything. In fact , they are hard workers who keep to themselves .

    1. Look up when a Cartel kidnapped one of their family members and see if they didn't fight back. You can do a little research before you write nonsense. They have even been caught smuggling drugs into Canada.

    2. No my friend , mormons are working for adoption agencies in Utah and vegas,or actually own the whole agencies, the mormons that you say are in Mexico are fake mormons they say they are mormon to throw people off so they seem innocent and not conected to any wrong doing, ok those are fake , they are often seen at the oxxo in Tijuana buying caguamas cerveza, and even buying foco to smoke those globos of crystal meth, good day my friend education is a must

  15. I’m from Cuauhtémoc. I really know those streets, that life. I knew everyone there. I can say Menonitas are good people. But they have been envolved for years. Personality we used them for creating our secret compartments. Also they made some how made a type of cheese that you could desolve into or extract heroin from. I don’t know who this guy was but there are new outlets saying they found him already with a shot to the back of the head. And they are blaming CJNG somehow.

    1. 4:55 in the head line it said cjng, but when you actually read the story it said Gente Nueva, which if the head line is right then that means cjng is in chihuas when the cds cheerleaders said they would never enter chihuas, and if the actual story that said gente nueva was responsible is true then that means CDS is extorting hard working people! In both cases it makes CDS look bad

    2. Well from what I hear. Haven’t seen it with my eyes. But what I hear is that La Linea is finally moving Meth. And it’s quality meth. So I would think CJNG is supplying them with it. Because it’s quality. If La Linea was actually cooking it, it wouldn’t be quality, since they are kinda new to the industry and don’t have Ports easy delivery of the Chemicals to cook as Jalisco does. Seems to me that La Linea is growing quickly and government support is also falling into place in Chihuahua. Linea is trafficking meth north. But not allowing sales on the street (menudeo). Because GN is doing that. And it’s easy to find GN cells financed by Meth street sales. Cuauhtémoc is a beautiful place. But for the cartels it’s a golden town. Since it leads straight into la Sierra. Es la Boca de la sierra. Cargamentos chicos y grandes pasan por Cuauhtémoc.
Arriba la Gente Bonita. Y que se Pudran los Feos.

  18. Looks like mexican cartels have beef with menonita cartel, they want them to fall in place and are most likely taxing them but dont want to pay.

  19. I said it but i guess my comment was not posted it was in spanish but anyway some of these guys are heavy fish. Back then anyone could work individual shipments they just paid the cartel to move through the border im guessing now theyre forcing smugglers to work straight for them and that causes problems with the other groups and lowers the earnings of the mennonites he could of been pushing alone and thats the reason for the hit.
