AMLO favorable rating quickly sliding downward

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat from Forbes

Growing number of Mexicans call for the resignation of the new Mexican president

Those who would vote in favor of Lopez Obrador remaining in the presidential chair amount to 52% of the population, this is 18.7 percentage points less than last February.

In four months, the popular perception regarding the performance of Andrés Manuel López Obrador has turned negative and the number of people who believe that the president should resign has even increased.

A national survey prepared by Mexico Elige , a Digital Investigations agency, details that, if a process of revocation of the mandate of the presidency will be carried out, 42.5% of Mexicans would vote for the resignation of AMLO.
Those who would vote in favor of Lopez Obrador remaining in the presidential chair amount to 52% of the population, however, this percentage represents 18.7 percentage points less than the figure for February of this year (70.7%).

The proposed revocation of mandate, which is analyzed in the Congress of the Union, establishes that this process would take place on the same day as the election day in which federal deputies are elected and could be requested by the Congress of the Union.

AMLO approval level also decreased in June 19.7% since February, when it was at its highest level with 73% approval. The same thing happened with the "qualification" that the respondents assigned, since in the second month of the year López Obrador had an average of 68.8 and for June it decreased to 49.7.

When asking the reason for the resignation of officials such as Germán Martínez Cázares, director of the IMSS; or Josefa González Blanco, extitular of Semarnat; 54.4% of the respondents indicated that they did not coincide with the vision of AMLO.

There is a wrong side of capitalism, on the extreme right, it is called oligarchy, full of autocratic criminals that would not like if the other extreme of autocratic authority (totalitarianism) were applied to them because job # 1 is putting autoritarian aristocratic necks to the guillotine. No American Democrat in congress or the senate has pushed for Socialism or Communism, specially not presidential candidates...

    6. 12:12 the Mexican problems after 100 years since the last Revolucion sponsored by the US have led Mexico to the present "low intensity conflict" your complaints suggest you have faster solutions, the sort of which AMLO has no idea about, get with him, he will hire you on the spot to fix Mexico's problems .
But nobody will fix problems that have been getting worse since the murder of Colosio, specily Not AMLO; advocating for an intervention is another hare brained idea.
No matter who feeds it to your ass. Stop eating the propaganda of "the man who sold america" (a book by Joy Reid) and his friends.

    1. One of the reasons AMLO receives bad press and comments from oppositor Globs is that he refuses to pay them chayote.
while AMLO proclaims freedom of expression, and right to dissent, he does not control the journals murderers that become offended about some reports about them, (it is usually the criminals that get exposed that resort to murdering) it also has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PRESIDENTE.
It is not easy to live from your real honest reporting, much less after being deep in the government pockets like:
--Denise Dresser who misses her millions of pesos per YEAR.
--Denise Dresser's boyfriend Brozo, El Payaso Tenebroso who was a fan of AMLO until he got "No Chayote"!
--Joaquin Lopez Doriga who got paid about 250 million pesos by EPN AT LEAST IN HIS 6 YEARS IN POWER. That was a lot of CHAYOTE.
--CARLOS LORET DE MOLA, THE MAXIMUM TELEVISA CHAYOTERO, gets good money from televisa who got GOOD money FROM EPN FOR BIG CHAYOTE...
of course, any former mistress of the presidents resents the lack of support when their time is over.
All the Chayoteros are crying now and making up stuff some ot their followers believe and regurgitate even here on BB, we are supposed to use our opinions too, I believe we should inform our opinions before putting them out with our comments.
--Denise Dresser went to la mananera yesterday, with cameras and her team, but did not ask any question, wonder, why?

    2. Hey! Actually Doc was upset and walked on of a conference right after AMLO took power, calling it theater. since then they met and discussed future tactics and Doc is on board. AMLO is not the only one who supported Doc's release from prison. that is not true by a long shot.

Secondly, when doc was encouraged to run for senator, he said he would if AMLO asked him to.

      AMLO did not.

That aside, my analysis was neutral and fair. Don't tell me who you are---show me. and they all do. I think it is grossly unfair to judge any president 6 month in, and he has done some positive things, which he is not getting enough credit for.

I think he went in with a socialist's heart, but found it isn't that simple. and that is a good thing.

His support of Maduro was troubling. I believe only 4 or 5 nations in the world support that maniac.

But then he gives Trump a history lesson with respect to the statute of liberty---a week later he is negotiating with the U.S. and entered a deal.

So I think he is struggling within himself, but things often seem simplistic from afar.

  3. Surprising that 3 out of 4 voters liked Amlo from the start. The thirst for a pacifist/socialist is strong in Mexico.
In reality they need a trustworthy general to come in with a huge vacuum cleaner to suck out the cartels and push back the trespassers entering from the south.
Meanwhile Amlo smiles and shakes hands, proud he attained the office he always wanted.

  4. I stated this slide in his ratings weeks ago. This was visible when the teachers union along with residents of a particular state. Shoving and pushing than greetings of respect with complaints and demands.
Many citizens are struggling with crime and employment.
Change for a free corrupt government and violence will not happen overnight. Especially when decades of corruption practices have been embedded into its social structure.

I forsee his future goals for Mexico diminishing with each day from those powers that will not budge.
Take your retirement package like all former presidents and enjoy life. Money will always be that sole contributor and its devastation for Mexico.

    5. 1:35pm Actually quite a bit of change has occurred. Their has been a 40% food waste reduction at farmer food markets. While food waste reduction may not sound exotic or exciting, it shows that AMLO's social programs are feeding Mexican families because it coincides with AMLO's social program distribution.

It is estimated Mexican families have a 5% additional income, and big box stores are complaining their profits are stagnant, so corporations realize Mexican families do indeed have more money, but are not spending at big box stores -- they are spending it at farmers markets.

My source is the Mexican Daily News.

    6. 1:19 Fidel Castro and Co. did that, and imposed his revolution for more than 60 years, the Cuban people paid for it when the blockades came.
--quality control accuses 10% of the people of causing 90% of the problems, and from 130 million Mexicans you would have to dispose of 13 million, to clean up the act.
I doubt the world of corruption would have patience if AMLO started cleaning out their sicarios in a systematic gestapo style, they are already indignant that THE PRESIDENTE answers their cacayacas with truths and respect for their right of expression without regard for the truth, any fucking neo-Nazi can talk shit as on the US without responsibility for their malicious aspersions ignoring truth and consequences and congressional subpoenas where they Donvt want to be caught lying and stealing and betraying.
By the way, the Mexican BS did not start this time 36 years ago, it started when the US brainwashed Pancho I Madero into becoming a political agitator to kick porfirio Diaz out of power for being an European partisan, the US also financed revolutionaries like Pancho Villa until they betrayed him, but they Gabe money, Indian Motorcycles, weapons, horses, and airplanes to Pancho, on top of ass kissing from 5 star General John "blackjack" Pershing himself with help of generals George Patton and Douglas McArthur, Pancho Villa got real motivated until he got his ass handed to him.
--The US also financed the independence of all the Latin American colonies to establish the Monroe Doctrine:
      "America for the Americans"
--there is nothing set aside there for blacks and latinos...but we have beem allowed to live trespassing on our owners property.

They need variety after Thailand and Cancun have been getting too wise and arresting too many pederastas in ther lands.
Anybody that looks like a dirty poor broke ass in the Philippines must be a drug trafficking addict, even in school uniforms, but they are somehow invisible in Las Vegas, let alone their puppet masters or the banks that launder their billions and billions of dollars in profits, many of which get re-invested in China. Remember, even his enemies admit that he's honest, which is a huge change. He's lowering the salaries of the overpaid and corrupt executive and judicial branches. He's now taking the first steps going after prior corruption. He put a serious dent in huachicol and is going after corrupt Pemex officials and gas stations that rob the people. He pushed into law very important labor reforms, that will allow Mexican workers for the first time to be represented by real unions. He's trying, without breaking the budget, to put more money into scholarships and apprentice programs for young people. He wisely is avoiding social issues, like abortion and gay marriage. And he's on Trump's side when it comes to illegal immigration. That's a lot to like!

Accusations from dirty quarters do not constitute AMLO's politics Chivis, much as presidential power do not tame the wild beasts that stole the presidency 4 times out of the last 6 elections.
Salinas and Zedillo stole from Cuauhtemoc Cardenas, even murdering his campaign volunteers by the hundreds, and FECAL and EPN stole elections from AMLO.
right now the unemployed Prianal narco-politicians are feeding the fires of discontent in cahoots with their narcos and sicarios in the military, federal and state police and private security criminals. AMLO's one error is not autorizing AutoDefensas all over Mexico, trying to do that was one more excuse to topple Salvador Allende by pinochet, the Chilean army and navy and air force bossed around by the CIA and the US navy, knowledege of which cost Charles Horman. His life after torture by Chilean DINA ordered by Americans in charge of the crimes and the crime scene.
AMLO would not want to accelerate shit before it's time, but he has rejected funding for more war ON drugs and more usurious loans fro. World Bank and IMF, WITH AN ALMOST UNMANAGEABLE foreign debt of about 500 billion dollars it would be dumb to handle austerity by getting in debt...
