In confrontation, 1 dead and 7 arrested in Zapotlanejo, Jalisco, in operation by Sedena


During an operation carried out by elements of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) a confrontation with armed civilians took place in the municipality of Zapotlanejo. Additionally, a person who had been kidnapped was rescued.





Unofficially it was learned that the military presented themselves on Tuesday to the town of La Purisima, in Zapotlanejo, where they were confronted with civilians carrying firearms.



After the confrontation, the soldiers confiscated seven rifles a hand gun, a 7.62 caliber machine gun, which was fixed to the back of a Jeep vehicle, as well as magazines and ammunition. Two other vehicles were also seized.


Seven subjects were also arrested, another one was killed, which has yet to be identified, while another person who had been kidnapped was rescued. From the aforementioned, the State Prosecutor's Office was informed and in the next few days so will the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR).
