CANCUN: Possible identification on dismembered individual

A quartered body was located inside an oil drum, on a dirt road from the El Pedregal neighborhood, about 500 meters from Cancún Avenue, where the neighbors made the grisly discovery.

Early reports indicated that the corpse could correspond to one of the people who was kidnapped on Wednesday afternoon, in another point of the city.

The police corporations received the report of the discovery of human remains inside black bags, in El Pedregal neighborhood, in Supermanzana 523, nine blocks from Cancún Avenue, near a company of transport vans.

The policemen who went to the locale confirmed that it is a dismembered body that was left inside an oil drum.
