Violent attempted kidnapping in the streets of Ecatepec, Mexico

Sol Prendido Borderland Beat from AfondoEdomex

ECATEPEC, Mexico.- This morning, an elderly person suffered an attempted kidnapping in the streets of Colonia Guadalupe Victoria, events that were recorded by security cameras.

During the kidnapping attempt at approximately 8:45 am, the person was defended by another man who left with him from the property located on Avenida Niños Héroes, so he had time to enter his home; however, the man who helped the victim was beaten.

Likewise, it is possible to appreciate in the video how a van is coming from which two men get down to try to climb onto the victim of a red shirt, and immediately the individual wearing blue rushes against the kidnapper, so the victim rushes to his house, but outside they attack the other without being able to rob him of his belongings, but he suffered some blows.

Finally, the criminals fled the scene without achieving their purpose and with neighbors failing to report the facts to the police.

It is worth mentioning that 15 days ago another kidnapping was reported in the same area.

    2. There are no witnesses on the video, so how do you know there were any on the street to call anyone? Stop talking out your rear-end.

    2. How do you know it’s CJNG that did this? If only people were that quick to better themselves than to be a bunch of cartel nutt huggers this world would be a much better place.

    3. 10:35 The Menchas did not claim this activity, which makes me confess you seem to dig your facts from your own personal rear end stash before throwing them to the macaco feeders.

  4. Plain weird. What makes that an attempted kidnapping ? maybe attempted robbery ?
Red Shirt man does not look “ elderly “ either , he just glances up and gets thru his door. Looks more like he was working with the bad dudes/ punks, leaving his pal in the Blue shirt to his fate.

  5. I wonder if the reporter went based on the video or he actually talked to people. It looks as a planned assault, if it was a random victim, they couldve taken the guy in blue since his resistance was minimal, also the guy in red ran as soon as he seen them and they went straight to him so he knew what was coming and its not that the guy in blue wanted to help, he left him behind. The guy in blue panicked and his natural reaction was trying to help open the door. The attackers where armed yet nobody was shot, either it was empty maybe replica or they do follow certain rules, since there was no reports and no help i assume these are local criminals and are well known in the area, thats why they didnt kept trying to get him because they know where to find him

  8. Why does anyone think this is an attempted kidnapping, not an attempted robbery ?? He does not even look " Elderly". He leaves his compadre to the fate of the bad guys ? He could be an working with the punks. I looked at the original link.....VERY sensationalistic.....every story is "Breaking", "Hideous", "Monsterous" ......WHO says it was an attempted kidnapping and WHY ? Only because there was one other one ( according to their website.) Looks/ smells fishy to me.

    1. The fact patterns of the two crimes of kidnapping and robbery are not mutually exclusive. One can be deprived of their liberty and robbed at the same time. In other words, when you "hold up" a person to rob them, you are keeping them from their free movement,or, in other words, kidnapping.

  9. People don't report because they don't know which of the people is actually normal which is belonging to criminal activities. When the criminal activities are so prevalent, how would a normal people report ? No safety fro politicians, police & army, what's the guarantee the the general people reporting facts be spared ? Bitter fact is, its the public who are helping criminals (Eg- Santa Rosa Cartel blockade). Until criminals are taken down by police & army without any need of law & justice, things will not return to normal in Mexico.
