"El Huevo", nephew of Miguel Trevino, and leader of Cartel Del Noreste, allegedly arrested

Armadillo For Borderland Beat From El Universal

Nuevo Laredo.- The presumed arrest of the leader of the Cartel Del Noreste (CDN) Juan Gerardo Treviño Chávez, alias "El Huevo", generated blockades, car burnings and tire popping at different areas. Treviño Chávez is the nephew of the last leader of Los Zetas, Miguel Angel Treviño Morales.

After the alleged arrest, his lieutenants unleashed a series of blockades through the city, mainly in the western sector.Users of social networks denounced the theft of cars, as well as the chaos generated by the blockades in various areas of the city.

It was reported that armed men blocked the city to prevent elements of the Mexican Army from arresting the leader.

This caused chaos among the citizens who could not prevent the criminals from taking their vehicles. In addition, trailers and cargo transportation units were used to close the territory of the security forces. The blockades were deactivated by the authorities without the arrest of those who dispossessed drivers of their vehicles.

  1. We have seen it too often, that is beyond comprehension, he will give the judge a suitcase full of blood money. And he will out, in time for the Easter weekend to massacre more persons.

  7. Who cares when some narco boss or sicario are arrested? In Mexico only 2% arrested ever see prison time! You can literally get away with any crime if you pay the right person. Country is most corrupt on earth.

    1. 7:02 I understand you have your head full of BS, but you will understand that because you pay "the right person" it does NOT make the whole country corrupt, pendejo.
Even if the criminals paid 130 million peisos, one peiso per person, it would not be worth selling out.
Try and get some remedial education and grow the fack up.

  10. Yeah Mexican government and even U.S. government that many a times lends a hand in these sort of high profile captures does not care about the violence that these bring to any state. Except Sinaloa! They always claimed that if Chapo was captured all hell would break loose and even though they have not said the same about Mayo Zambada...why has he not been captured then?
In fact why is there not a 5
10 million dollar reward for him like the U.S. government had for Chapo or even the 5 million that they had for El Azul as well?

    1. El Kelin wasn’t Z2. Z2 (HK11) was Alejandro Lucio Morales Betancourt, captured in 2001 and became protected witness “Yeraldin”.
