Tabasco: 5 additional murders, 18 since the weekend

VILLAHERMOSA, Tab.- In Tabasco, the homeland of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the spiral of violence does not end and on Tuesday five men were killed.

In the morning, a subject was found with several bullets wounds and his face taped, on the edge of a road of the ranch Anacleto Canabal, on the outskirts of this capital

A couple of hours later, two more men were executed in the colony Las Gaviotas, in Villahermosa, in front of a store selling roast chickens.

Later, another man was found dead in the town of La Palma, in the municipality of Tenosique. He several bullet impacts.


Around noon, a young man was killed on a motorcycle, on the Frontera-Villahermosa road, at the height of Villa Ocuitzapotlán in the municipality of Centro (Villahermosa).

In a morning radio interview, Governor Adán Augusto López Hernández acknowledged that last weekend there were 13 murders in Tabasco, which together with the five of today, amount to 18 victims.

    1. Thank you! I had 500 waiting it has been tough, but I hated my mistake because they were decent comments. I am going to be out for a while beginning Monday--another surgery. Hopefully it will be best case scenario so I won't be gone long. meanwhile I am tying out voice to text...paz

  9. Lord Jesus... I’ll be in Villahermosa in a couple of weeks in Infonavit Atasta. Is anything happening over there? Also, sincere question, who is doing the killing? I know that Tabasco was Zeta territory but is that still true?

    1. I think it's CJNG now, in dispute it seems, but I don't really know who else is there. Everyone and their mother is present in Veracruz next door so maybe same is going on in Tabasco?
