Colima: Secretary of Tourism resigns after being stripped and beaten

Throw Away Borderland Beat NoventaGrados

Colima, Col.- The Secretary of Tourism of Colima, Efraín Angulo Rodríguez, resigned his post after he was severely beaten along with several people for more than six hours, during which a person was killed.

It was last Monday when Efraín Angulo had a meeting with others, among acquaintances, one of them left the meeting, returning with a command of armed subjects who subjugated those present there.

After stripping them of clothes and belongings, one of those present, unknown to the Secretary of Tourism -according to his testimony- was taken to another room and strangled to death.
In a span of about six hours, the victims were beaten and tied until a couple of them managed to untie and escaped both the aggressors and victims.

In light of this situation, the secretary resigned his position and presented the complaint to the corresponding agencies, and at a press conference he said that the aggressors were looking for drugs and money.

  2. Too bad this story is a complete lie... 6 men (including Colima's Sec of Tourism) were having a gay orgy with nine teenagers. Reports from taxi drivers and neighbors say the teenagers were paraded out of the house, naked and forced to sit on the curb for hours while the PGR dealt with the adults inside. Maybe the police beat the shit out of the Tourism Secretary? Who knows... it has gotten to be a grande chiste over the past couple days. Colima has turned into a hellish place over the last 5 years!

    1. That's why he resigned. The allegations of robbery were actually homosexuality activities with teenagers.
Resignation of of his post does not and in no way reflect a hazard like municipal officials.
Dude was just busted and was instructed to resign by his superiors.

      Makes sense .

    1. Stay out of the “ranchos” in Mexico (small towns). Visit major tourists cities. Don’t look for problems. Be respectful and you’ll be fine. I have visited Mexico several times and ended up in some crazy parts after partying with strangers and I still have a head to tell it all. Don’t flash wealth and again be respectful. Mexico is generally very safe for tourists. Google is your friend.

    3. You will be fine anywhere in the BBC world as long as your respectful and dont act tough and start fights. I was in the NAVY and seen many places. People are curious and will help you out from the most part, just like America but just much friendlier

  4. Real politicians get their money brung to them and rarely see the drugs, these kidnappers must have been wearing their baby diapers.
Everybody knows the drugs are with El Mencho and you need to connect through the military zone commander or the sicarios on his stead.

  7. He did opposite the right thing by quitting with tail between his legs. Handing the cartels exactly what they want. Impunity CAN be contained and dealt with. We did it, so can Mexico. Pay law enforcement properly and give better training. Create loyalty, ho or and trust within the ranks by hiring the right trainers and using proper vetting techniques. This all may sound mundane and similar to what other armchair critics say but truly I believe in my soul, my 💓, this is what it will take to win. I love Mexico. I want a Mexican wife.

    1. 6:47 The better the police get paid, the more money they must kick back to their commanders, then they have to pay the Federales and Estatales in their midst too, or they will go exploiting the people on the street...
On the US the government is getting overrun by all the money they have borrowed for wars abroad and for militarizing local police departments and there is only surplus junk to sell Mexico at better than brand new prices.
Mexico needs to go back to the age of Popochas the Guard, he would just watch his block and turn off the candles in the morning for very little pay, maybe spend the night with one of the ladies on his block
