Veracruz: Federal Police Sub-Inspector kidnapped on video

Throw Away Borderland Beat translated from Vanguardia

On social networks videos circulated showing the agent taken by force by armed men.

The sub inspector of the Federal Police, Gabriel Pulido Noguera, was kidnapped over the weekend on a highway in the state of Veracruz.

Although the authorities of the Cuitláhuac García Jiménez Morenista government have not spoken about the incident, videos appeared on social networks where the agent is taken by force by armed men.

The police reports indicate that the events occurred on the Acultzingo-Ciudad Mendoza highway, in the central mountainous area of Veracruz.

On the footage, captured in the own vehicle of the federal agent, it is shown that two vehicles block his path, his armed attackers grab him and take him to an unknown destination.

From Sol Prendido:

In one of the videos you can see how the police stops the procession suddenly. After seeing a subject pointing a gun at him, he raised his hands in surrender. Immediately, at least three subjects opened the door of the unit and the following dialogue was heard:

Sicario: GET OFF, GET THE FUCK OFF! ARE YOU ARMED?

Gabriel: NO.

Sicario: GO, GET OVER HERE. BE VERY CAREFUL AND DON’T FUCK AROUND.

After removing the police from the vehicle, another subject entered, who wore a black jacket and cap, as well as dark glasses. After starting to drive the vehicle, he covered his mouth and nose with the collar of his jacket.

The other video reproduces the same situation, but pointing towards the front of the vehicle, which thankfully it was possible to identify the van model that stopped the police unit.

    1. They don’t carry guns off duty. In other words they borrow old weapons from the station when on duty.

  3. Do you think he knows at this point that his life is over? I guess he's complying hoping that by some miracle he will survive. There's a good chance we will see this guy in a future post but he will be in pieces and not breathing. I would be putting up the fight of my life. Not because I am a hero - quite the opposite. I am just not into skin removal or amputation while I am alive.

    2. Yeah, he could have run one of them down at least. He would have 99% gotten killed by the other one, but it’s not like he will survive anyway, even if he complies.

The problem is that in such situations your survival instinct kicks in and you are naturally led not to act in such a way that would ensure your demise (even if you know, deep down, that whatever you do you are screwed anyway).

You need a specific training to get rid of the bullshit games that the brain likes to play with ya.

  6. Sad to witness his last moment of freedom. Secondly, the crook covered his face after he was already in the car. Genius!
Not that any authority will try to catch him and his pals.
    Poor Mexico.

  9. I wonder how these latest ambusquedas y secuestros are going to sit with AMLO who unilaterally offered amnesty to the cartels? At least to the jefes? I see a proud man, "in your face" embarrassed and jilted. The only way I see it being suppressed is to ambush the ambusher's. 50 vehicle narco convoys shredded. To suppress the halcones, take regional cell towers off line. Bait traps. But all of this is wishful thinking. Que lastima...
