TJ Police Complete 185 Arrest Warrants in Oct and Arrest 11 More for Drug Dealing

The Deputy Attorney General of Justice in Tijuana completed, through the State Ministerial Police, 185 arrest warrants for various crimes in Tijuana, during October 2018.

In a statement, the agency explained that of the total 58 arrests were for the crime of vehicle theft, 36 for the crime of robbery with violence, 29 for drug dealing and 21 for homicide.

While, 9 arrests were for damage to property, 7 for violation, 6 for the crime of injury, 5 for carrying a weapon, 4 for fraud, and the rest for family violence, sexual abuse, extortion, deprivation of liberty , abuse of trust and breach of family assistance obligations.

These actions were done in collaboration with other corporations:  the Municipal Police of Tijuana, the State Preventive, and federal authorities complied with that of the State Ministerial Police  with the injunctions, both the traditional system and the Criminal Adversarial Accusatory System.

This process strengthens the fulfillment of the judicial mandates, in order to give the timely follow-up to the judicial processes as indicated.

Elements of the Municipal Police of Tijuana detained eleven men for the crimes of drug dealing, carrying  weapons and assaulting an bank account holder, in various events and areas of this border city.

In separate statements, the agency explained that six alleged drug dealers were confiscated 122 packages of drugs.

The first arrested, named Felipe "N", of 34 years, was stopped in Paseo de la Montaña, in the Colonia Los Laureles, with 40 doses of w apparent "crystal".

On the Primo Tapia avenue, in the Buenos Aires Norte neighborhood, Enrique "N", 35 years old, originally from Puebla, was arrested with  20  so-called "balloons".

Gerardo "N", 37, from Acapulco, was confiscated 20 wrappers of the same synthetic drug on Mercurio street in the Sanchez Taboada neighborhood.

In Zona Centro the police arrested Carlos "N", 25 years old; and in Villas de Baja California Wilbert "N", 22 years old, each with 15 and 12 wrappings of the same granulated substance, respectively.

Enedino "N", 59, a native of Jalisco, was captured with 10 doses of "crystal" and 5 of a herb similar to marijuana.

In an isolated incident, elements of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat apprehended Ernesto Alonso N ", alias" El Neto ", aged 22, and Santos" N ", aged 60, born in Baja California and Guerrero, respectively, while they were driving a vehicle, inside which the uniformed men found a 9 mm pistol and 250 grams of marijuana.

The events took place in Del Llano Street and Union Avenue, in the second section of the Obrera neighborhood, where the police intervened the crew of a white Nissan Tsuru, and after the inspection, the individuals were arrested.

In a different action, the officers detained Fabián "N", Juan Miguel "N", and Andrés "N", aged 18, 20 and 30, who allegedly assaulted an bank account holder who was robbed of 16,200 Pesos (approx $800 dollars ) and other personal belongings.

During a surveillance patrol, the elements responded to the call for help from the victim and mounted an operation, managing to locate the alleged assailants when they were driving in a Honda Civic car, cherry colored, on Venustiano Carranza street and International avenue in the Castillo neighborhood. 

After a chase, which ended when the driver of the vehicle in flight lost control and hit a retaining wall, the youth were arrested when they were found with the woman's bag with 16,200 Pesos and a utility-type pistol.

All the detainees were put at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office, which will determine their legal status, the unit added.

  3. Question to readers in Mexico. Excuse my lack of knowledge on the matter, or ignorance if you will, but how dangerous is it to procure a little weed without fear of someone axing you for buying from the wrong people?

    2. Not exactly. I actually live in Mex and it really depends on the area that your in. In Tijuana, Guadalajara and Mexico City drug users can buy with little to no risk. If you were extremely unlucky then a rival dealer or group might see you buying from someone and go after you thinking you work together or maybe corrupt municipal pd might do a shake down on you but i never seen those issues with people buying pot. Only hardcore drug addicts in mex that immerse themselves in the drug culture. In more rural areas or regions where cartels can roam free in lines of SUVs i definitely would not want to be associating with any dealer. If any of you remember the ciudad Victoria execution video where that weed buyer was in an execution video because he couldn't provide info of who sold to him. Like I said, buying in the urban city areas is norm if your clean cut.
