"El Muletas" Chihuahua cartel leader arrested

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat-Reforma-

Elements of the Federal Police detained Luis Enrique Gamboa Sosa in Puebla, aka "El Muletas", considered one of the main operators of a criminal organization with a presence in Chihuahua.

According to reports, "El Muletas" is the alleged coordinator of the logistics for the transfer of drugs to the United States of

the so-called Nuevo Cártel del Tigre.

"El Muletas", who is originally from Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, and was captured by agents of the Intelligence Division of the PF, related to the crimes of organized crime.

The brother of "El Muletas" was the alleged leader of the Cartel until 2017, when he died in a confrontation with members of rival groups.
The Gamboa Sosa brothers are considered the main generators of violence and disappearances in the municipalities of San Francisco de Borja, Carichi, Gran Morelos, Cusihuiriachi and Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, in Chihuahua.

In addition, he was  apparently related to various confrontations and killings of members of criminal groups, in order to control the transfer of marijuana and cocaine on a large scale from Colombia, which was sent to the municipalities of Guachochi and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, with final destination to El Paso, Texas.

In collaboration with the Army, the PF complied with a search warrant in an address with residence in the Municipality of Tehuacán, Puebla, where the "El Muletas", who used another name, was arrested.

He was arrested along with his girlfriend.

    1. Cartel de Tigre is allied with CDS and has feud with La Linea. Linea taking steps to dominate Chihuahua. Drugs will continue to get across regardless of this ONE capture so you and your buddies can still get high this weekend.

    2. If you are referring "you" to yaqui, I think you misunderstood her comment. She was praising the capture, not denouncing it.

    4. Wtf are you talking about. It’s the same group of guys. The linea and linces that were from Cuauhtémoc fraction. Just changed names because their boss and friend was wacked during a meeting. And no not all línea switched. That’s why there’s war. Cuauhtémoc is full of heart and balls. Soldiers for the mafia.

  4. So tired of the corrupt government officials covering their eyes. We know it’s so they’re not as recognized by the public once the bribe is paid and they are let loose to terrorize again.

    1. It is not as easy as Americans think to stop the corruption in Mexico.
Federal police in Mexico get paid between 5 to 8 thousand pesos a month or the equivalent of USD 270 dollars to 450 dollars. Would you risk your ass to go against cartels for that amount of money? OF COURSE NOT! Add to that the risk of one or more greedy infiltrator within your ranks that accept a cartels bribe of twice or more that amount to prevent hasseling of cartel members by your police department by ANY means necessary including killing those that do as well as their families.
The situation is bleak in Mexico unless cops get paid more money which is not going to happen any time soon.

    2. The point is that if the government truly wanted to end the cartels they could. Easily.... but they dont. Now why is that? Simple... money.

    3. @11:48. "Money makes the world go round" my friend.
By the same token if the U.S. wanted to end comssumotion it would would. It would simply demonize consumption and or users the way they do immigrants and this would stop. But they do not!
