Chipancingo: No less that seven people, among them a Municipal Commander and a Ministerial Agent, were assassinated today in the state of Guerrero. Also before the threats of the criminal group of La Familia Michoacan, public service transport was suspended in the towns of Acapetlahuaya and Teloloapan.

A spokesman for the Coordination Group of Guerrero, Roberto Alvarez, said the service had been discontinued since Monday. During Saturday and Sunday, several public transport buses that cover this area had been assaulted.

This Sunday, a threat was announced in social networks warning bus drivers to stop working. The population has also been asked to refrain from moving to or from the towns of Acapetlahuaya, Teloloapan and Buena Vista del Aire.

"Avoid going to these towns, otherwise you will not be respected because everyone directly and indirectly supports the community police and when we enter Teloloapan, all will disappear because they all support it", the threats pointed out.

This area, which includes the towns of Teloloapan, Acapetlahuaya and Arcelia, there is a confrontation between the criminal group La Familia Michoacana and the Tecampanera Community Police. The Community Police operate in the municipalities of Teloloapan and Apaxtla de Castrejon.

La Familia Michoacana, run by Johnny Oloscoaga, alias "El Pez", has control in the municipalities of Arcelia. A Commander of the Municipal Police of Tlapa was found dead after he was kidnapped on Saturday by a group of armed men, state authorities reported.

First Commander Jorge Antonio Garcia Zarate, 42 years old, was found dead encobijado on the Tlapa-Ahuetepec highway, in a place known as El Mirado. The Police Chief had been hanged and showed signs of torture.

According to state authorities, this Saturday morning, the Police Chief arrived at his house accompanied by his wife in the El Paraiso Colonia in Tlapa, when four armed men in a a Nissan Tsuru car, blocked them in.

Two of the individuals got out of the vehicle and aimed at the couple, they then forced the Commander to get into their car, leaving his wife behind. In addition to the Commander, in another act of violence, also recorded in Tlapa, Natalio Bahena, 66 years old, was stabbed to death.

Meanwhile, in Chilapa a vehicle was found burned out with a burnt body inside of a man

More violence in Acapulco

Five people were killed in Acapulco today, including an agent of the Ministerial Police Commander who was executed in the Farmers Market. In addition a taxi driver was murdered in the garita and a motorcyclist was shot to death in the Rufo Figueroa neighborhood.

  1. Facts- 40 US special forces expelled the ENTIRE taliban from horseback with air power as back up in Afghanistan in 2 months time. We could probably do it with drones in Mexico. Ask and u will receive EPN. Enough is enough.

    1. If the Mexican government really cared would have asked or requested long ago. They have no intentions of stemming. Rather eliminate those who stand in their way of their objective.
Assistance is widely available from all those countries who favor the war on drugs.
But as one can see, no such request to bring law and order in a direly needed country has been placed. Rather a government policy and objective to control and not eradicate the drug epidemic.
Who ever said the Mexican was stupid was wrong!
There are fortunes to be made!

    2. Dude shut up, everyone knows it can be stopped. They just don’t want to, you think you are wiser than the government lol. Plus humans aren’t going extinct anytime soon, let the bad hombres kill each other

    3. Corrupt politicians in Mexico make too much money from bribes and are too scared to do something like that. Remember not only do they get bribes but they also know if they don't accept these bribes they'll be killed sometimes their families as well.

    4. Yup, and now Afghanistan is the #1 place to live.

    6. @7:56AM

So you're suggesting we simply ignore events and let the good hombres die as well? What about the innocent civilians that have nothing to do with it, except for having been forced to choose to support the side that is most likely to kill them, in order to survive?

Even if the U.S. government truly wanted to stop what is happening in Mexico (something I often wonder if it's true or not) the American public would never support the necessary actions to do so. The problem goes beyond simple violence, there is an entire culture that would have to be changed even after the violence was stopped; which would require more time and resources than most people are willing to commit. We're talking time/resources on the order of Post-WW2 Japan...

    10. @10:50am- the cartel issue could be handled without the US population evening knowing. These are people in pickup trucks with ak's and cowboy hats. They could be irradiated in a month. That is until the next generation comes of age.

    11. @10:44- correct, as soon as we pull out, isis, taliban, etc move back in. So that means when we knock the dogs down, it's your job to keep em down. And if the people aren't strong enough to do that then live with the misery. I just sent my 12 yr old down the street to the bus stop this morning, knowing he is safe. Can the people of Michoacana say that?

    12. I wonder what would happen then? The Cartels can probably do 1 million times more damage than any radical Arab can ever hope to achieve inside the US if they really wanted to.

No gun wielding American will stop them before they take out hundreds of thousands. Than a war that would consume the whole US would take hold.

The Cartels here in the US can easily kill cops, judges, lawyers, etc.. if they really wanted to the only thing stopping them is the love of money and their very profitable business would dry up.

Russia and china would move in.

The US isn't that stupid Congress wanted to do that to CJNG in 2015 but eventually backed off I wonder why?

Than their is the fact that somewhere along the way most cartel bosses have backing not just from the Mexican government but the US as well.

  2. Wow.
Definitely a sign of a broken society! I guess this is what’s to transpire before law and order is restored. One of many things which indicates the beginnings and end of a civilized society.
Where chaos and disorder seems to reign.

    1. 7:36 the bad news is that the state of guerrero has been a broken society since one black negro became a rebel independentista, he was the rich son of a rich soaniard, influential on politics with the Viceroy, his father begged of him to leave the war for independence, but General Vicente Guerrero said "MI patria es primero" ("my motherland is first")
--Later, after that black guy set his bad behaviour precedent, he consummated the independence of mexico, became a hated president of the Republic, got birtherized by the aristocrats of the nation, forced to resign, and was finally murdered, but the state has been in turmoil ever since 1810, then Oaxaca produced two more upity jive talking Indians, Licenciado Don Benito Juarez president of the Republic and vanquisher of the European royalty that came to make an empire of mexico...the US did not approve of that...
And general Don Porfirio Diaz, who tried to have an European styled Mexico during his 30 year presidency, which the US did not like either and 5hen unleashed and financed the Mexican revolution on the mexicans that had nothing to do with it, but paid for it with millions of casualties and hunger and blood and tears...
please keep your fucking fangs and bloody claws out of mexico or we will run to the US and elect your nextexican president.

    2. The Romans like the greeks before tbem, started using mercenaries to fight their wars, offshoring get their industry and taking loans to keep financing their beloved way of life, the end was near, the volcanos did not damage their civilization like their stupid politics did...
The US is famous for never having created a culture and for going to their twilight enlightened by nothing but greed and corruption, or something like that.

    1. It 2as the government that stepped in, not the ordinary people. Mexico is a different beast when the biggest drug users are next door and there is no work or help from government. If people stand up for themselves they get murdered and or put in prison, government from U.S and Mexico make too much money to let people get in the way.

    2. Madam Canadiana, remember comandanta Nestora Salgado? She arrested the chief of the polesia for corruption,
And she got arrested by the state government after refusing money to take it easy, she went back to the US after she got released, but she had to hear "piece of shit governor" angelico rivero asking her to fork las papas to him...
The narcos did not kick nestora's ass out of guerrero. It was the state and federal governments...

  5. On my way to Walmart Diamante on Saturday, I passed by a white mini Cooper with D.F. plates. It was shot up. And the driver is in serious condition. This happened in Colosio near the old Campama office... Strange thing... There was a huge municipal police check point at the unfinished autopista bridge between
Llano Largo and Walmart. There were about twenty muni cops at the checkpoint, all heavily armed with automatic weapons and flac jackets. The shooting happened during the checkpoint about 1 kilometer away. In my 25 years in Acapulco I have never seen muni cops this heavily armed..

    Just sayin'

  9. Nothing new here, move along. @9:23 is correct. The autodefensas run by each community, for each community, know what is needed to keep the place kind of safe. It is when you must travel that things get ugly. Give the people the right to defend themselves with arms, then see how the armed criminals fair. I overheard so much that never made news there in the 3 years this Gringo worked in the Tierra Caliente Gro. Most true Autodefenseas(not aligned with a group) are armed with single shot rifles and shotguns, against automatics, go figure. Narcostate. "Mas Cuidado"
