Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Televisa News article with additional information by Otis B Fly-Wheel

Subject Matter: Los Tigres, Chihuahua, Julio Cesar Escarcega Murillo, El 109
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

Reporter: Televisa Noticeros and Francisco Javier Carmona
The alleged narco trafficker leader in the region of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua who according to authorities is allegedly responsible for the wave of violence in the state, was detained this Sunday morning by the State Commission for Security of Chihuahua.

Julio Cesar Escarcega Murillo, alias El Tigre was detained with a group of sicarios that made up his bodyguard.

"Deriving from intelligence work of the State Commission for Security in the town of Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua, they achieved the detention of six enemies of the peace, pertinent to the Nuevo Cartel del Tigre, as well as securing 8 rifles, two pistols, a grenade launcher and a vehicle, inside of which the detained was caught," said Oscar Aparicio, State Commissioner for Security in Chihuahua

The State Commission for Security, in conjunction with the Chihuahua Attorney Generals office, have investigated this criminal organization for its links to homicides and shooting attacks this year in all of this region, principally in the communities mentioned, where recently there have been registered homicides.

According to the State Commission for Security this arrest will lead to a lowering of the violence in the region. "With the wave of violence that he has generated, we have the conviction that we are going to see those levels lower", said Aparicio.

Julio Cesar Escarcega Murillo, alias El Tigre, together with his group of sicarios were sent to the PGR, where they will be investigated for Federal crimes, but the Attorney General of Chihuahua will integrate some homicides into the case.

The following is not part of the Televisa News article and is information to add some background to those who don't know much about Los Tigres.

By Otis

The Los Tigres are led by Julio Cesar Escarcega Murillo, alias El 109, became leader of Los Tigres after the death of Cesar El Cabo Raul Gamboa Sosa. Gamboa was killed during a huge gun battle between factions of the Juarez Cartel for control of drug growing areas in Western Chihuahua

El 80 was also part of this gun battle and the event was reported on by our own Chivis.

Los Tigres have their own forces patch some of you may have seen before.

    1. Are you thinking of Jose Antonio Soto Gastelum, El Tigre of CTNG, who has been CDS and CAF at different times?

    2. 6:00am this guy joined CDS after his boss from Cuatemoch was killed by el 80. He named his people Tigres de Gente Nueva because he had the backing of CDS.

    3. Yes this is El Tigre from el Nuevo cartel del Tigre gente nueva

    4. The whole Linea section from Cuatemoch went against orders and started bringing crystal meth into the state. This guy Tigre became boss of the Cuatemoch section of La Linea aftet his boss got killed by La Linea for disobeying orders. He joined CDS in order to survive against La Linea so CDS gave him people to go against La Linea hence his people began calling themselves GN de el Tigre or something like that. He then began acting the way CDS acts in Sinaloa with the help of CDS and began driving around in caravans of trucks and people looking to fight La Linea. Guess he could not have imagined that in Chihuahua people don't impose themselves onto others in that fashion the way they do in Sinaloa without consequences. Now he is captured and newspapers say his top cabos also so this whole faction of the cartel is left without leadership. So much for that show of force he did in Gomez Farias.

    5. The white thick chevron is his rank in the military or just a nickname for him and all his gang?
Mexican army Cabos (corporals) are muy cabrones, se pasan a los tenientes por abajo de los pantalones, nomás aguantan por el rank. El lazca is an example, Z1 did not last long against the street zetas combined with texas landscaper z40, alias seta chorrienta "el lavacarros".

  3. So many captures. Mexico's prisons are already overpopulated. When is Mexico going to build more prisons for the sake of the people and economy?

Let’s not forget that a good majority of these incarcerated individuals have yet to be found guilty or sentenced.
Why build new prisons? If statistics show that they are well under capacity!

Oh, let’s not forget the “Get out of jail card”.
Would say” Free”. But apparently the corruption practices does not permit such!

    1. Honey!
I think there are many like him roaming in Mexico.
Mexico is the designated place for drug trafficking and impunity!

    2. @10:30 first of all we are talking about Chihuas here not all of Mexico asshole!
Having said this this capture will weaken the CDS structure in western Chihuas hence bring less violence there.
Second Mexico might be the designated place for drug traffiking and impunity but this is an after effect for America being the designated place for idiot drug users.

    3. Bring peace...you mean get kidnapped and extorted and killed and robbed and raped by only one cartel.yes then You are right.

      Delete
    4. @12:54; This does not impact CDS in the least, and was likely a pre-arranged gift to the authorities. The microprocessors running the "CDS structure" in Chihuas and everywhere else throughout Mexico consists of the largest of "legitimate" industry, political infrastructures throughout all the three major parties, and the military industrial complex. This is a gift to the authorities which equates to a joke in the overall scheme of operations.

      Delete
    5. @3:00pm. Hell yeah it impacts CDS. In Chihuahua it will be felt.
You nutthuggers make it sound that CDS is the king of strategies. Give up a guy (betray), here or there and everybody else prospers.
If this is so then people that follow Chapos and Zambadas have got to be the stupidest people on the planet for they will mever prosper in this drug game only the top dogs. La Lineas people in Chihuas ain't that stupid however that is why they keep growing.

      Delete
    6. @7:38 Your misunderstanding and ignorance of the Mexican Industrial Narco Complex is both laughable and typical. These "narcotraffickers" don't even equate to even a cog in the wheel of CDS's worldwide trafficking of metric tons of cocaine, meth, heroin, etc. that are going to the US, Canada, and Europe every single day. If you really think this caused any material loss to CDS you have a lot to learn - but its obvious you are jealous of CDS and a cheerleader who looks up to these criminals.

      Delete
    7. @12:47 nobody is misunderstanding the size of CDS. Nobody ever said it was done either. You nutthuggers love to bring out the size of that cartel yet underestimate the detetmination of it's enemies like La Linea to stop it's advance at least in Chihuahua which it is doing a hell of a job even though it is way smalled than them!

      Delete
    8. 12:47 tell all that knowledge of yours to CDS when they are getting their ass handed to them by La Linea in Chihuahua.

    9. Who runs Parral and delicia anyone know

    10. 12:47 the one thing people have to remember is the Juarez Cartel lost 90% of Chihuas to CDS several years ago. The majority of U.S. Federal law enforcement said the Juarez cartel was dead. They said there was no way the Carrillo Fuentes people could come back after losing so badly to CDS. THEY WERE COMPLETELY WRONG!!! Nuevo Juarez with the help of their new enforcement wing La Linea and street level hitters Los Aztecas they slowly but surely took Chihuas back. Nuevo Juarez didn't have to intimate the people with large caravans of sicarios. They just used strategic and precise hits on the correct people by using Los Linces. It got so bad for CDS that Chapo (when he was not incarcerated) gave up on Juarez because he needed the manpower elsewhere. CDS retained some turf down south but nothing that major. Even with all of CDS's money, political protection and their reputation it wasn't enough to beat the little guy. As the saying goes....it's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog. No one is arguing your point about the money and international connections CDS has but you have to admit losing the Juarez plaza affects profits. Just like constantly invading other plazas and warring with the cartel you are trying to displace hurt profits.

    11. 10:03; this is 12:47 and I agree with much that you said (other than I believe your underestimating the well working infrastructure CDS has exporting from Juarez). Please read what I originally responded to 7:38 and I think you will agree too; I said These "narcotraffickers" don't even equate to even a cog in the wheel of CDS's worldwide trafficking of metric tons of cocaine, meth, heroin, etc. that are going to the US, Canada, and Europe every single day: "If you really think this caused any material loss to CDS you have a lot to learn". I stand by that statement and from what I read in your post it sounds as you do too. These guys were of no significant loss! Come on - that is laughable! You agree?

  5. GN acted clever. They allowed tigre to guide them through Chihuahua and now that he got heat protection was taken away. Killing two birds with one stone letting things to cool off while getting all profits for themselves without no new tigre cartel on their way to claim part of the bounty.

    1. Linea has Chihuahua state police on their payroll. This capture will only make them stronger for this guy Cabo was the only who knew the back roads of Chihuahua like the back of his hand while he worked for CDS. He was also captured with his top capos newspapers say.
If it was CDS that backstabbed him the rumor will fly in Chihuas and once again La Linea will be the onky one to benefit from this.

    2. 8:51 the La Linia gangs have always been the exclusive property of the Chihuahua State Police, they came up with Las Casas De La Muerte from Cd Juarez, that were even recorded by the american Dept of Justice/ATF while people was being tortured and murdered, it was a while ago, but the perps who were not captured must still be running the shit they own all over Chihuahua, "NOT BEING GIVEN KICKBACKS" by perros grameros

      Delete
    3. In las casas de las muertes probably found around 400 dead people over the course of ten years or so in Juarez. This is roughly the same amount of people found buried in mass graves belonging to CDS in Durango state around 2009.
People think CDS are saint's yet don't know half the shit that goes on with them!

  7. Yes your right they should have killed on the spot, since they have murdered many people. But not to worry, money talks they will be out in 10 days, once all the dust has settled, after all it's the land of impunity.

  8. It's better to get captured. You still get all the benefits of living a good life in prison for ten years. Sex drugs alcohol cell phone. When you get out u get out smarter and tougher. It's part of the game. U live to fight another day

  9. 12:57-I wonder how often boss comes up with money to bail them out.I know it happens often enough like a revolving door.Personally I thinl they atr 'kidnapped by police',the 'ranson' is paid and they are released from prison to 'make some more $$ for police, after all don't they have a quota to collect?I wonder how often though the boss has had enough of a sicario or he's served his purpose and gets betrayed and they just leave them to rot in prison or killed by their rivals there?

  11. Yeah La Linea is so bad in Chihuahua CDS nutthuggers here say yet according to Juarez newspapers and their interviews with that cities authorities the cartel keeps growing. I, don't the cartel would grow in Chihuas if it was as bad as they say. But then again I, only live in Juarez on the weekends so what would I, know?

    ReplyDelete
  12. This is what happens when you go against La Linea. La Linea does not want to have anything to do with crystal meth. In Juarez los Mexicles are the ones that are dealing that shit all over Juarez. That's why Mexicles are getting killed by the Aztecas. When are these clowns from sinaloa going to realize that chihuahua es tierra de la linea

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Pues valió verga. Because they are saying that Sinaloa gave up Tigre. If so the Linea can regroup finally and straighten up. Something they need to do desperately. With new trouble coming up. Which doesn't seem likely since it has popped off in every town, city and surrounding areas. Yesterday and today have been extremely violent. Including multiple police officers being executed or picked up. Including the commandante of la policía de Cuatemoc. They are also saying it was Caro Quintero who is now leading the fight for CDS into Chihuahua. He's fraction might be called Cartels Unidos making noise in Durango, southern Chiwas and Sinaloa. With all the people that Trump is deporting he is adding fuel to the fire. With hundreds of broke, lost, hungry and desperate Mexican Deporties being taken to the border towns of Mexico every day. The cartels are offering shelter and food for men willing to put on their shirt and fight. Low price soldiers. Things are only going to get worse all over Mexico and more on the border towns.

    1. I, didn't see the Mexican government help La Linea against CDS. I, do see that even with the help the government gave CDS, CDS managed to only win the Valley of Juarez and parts of southern Chihuahua.
Plus now CDS is asking RCQ for help!

  16. I see CDS in Sonora, Durango, Baja California, Mexico State, Sinaloa, and operating in Chihuas but I only see NCDJ in chihuas if NCDJ is so mighty like you guys make it sound like why dont they have more territory?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Juarez cartel only cares about Chihuahua so long as they can move drugs into the U.S. through there. Why?
Because having more resources spent on winning more territory in Mexico is pointless. Why?
Because as the saying goes "in Mexico you make the money but in the U.S. you make the power".
In other words what is the point of all this land grab if all the drugs are going to the same U.S. cities that give cartels money hence power regardless of where the drugs cross???
Aside from the fact that the Carrillos where originally from Sinaloa and still have relatives there hence for their safety decided to never invade Sinaloa directly.
