El Commandante Fierro, linked to El Mayo Zambada arrested

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Milenio article

Subject Matter: Cesar Rafael Vazquez Perez, El Commandante Fierro
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

Reporter: Ruben Mosso
Cesar Rafael Vazquez Perez, El Commandante Fierro, alleged regional plaza boss of the Sinaloa cartel was detained by the Criminal Investigation Agency for the crime of homicide, informed the PGR.

The institution signalled that Vazquez Perez, who worked as logistic and financial coordinator, is the principal operator of the Sinaloa cartel in the towns of Zapopan, Jalisco, Manzanillo and Tecoman in Colima.

El Commandante Fierro, 33 years of age and originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, functioned as a direct link between Ismael El Mayo Zambada and those under his control.

They indicated that Vazquez Perez allegedly was responsible for the function of narco-laboratories established in the city of Zapopan, Jalisco.

He is also considered one of the principal generators of the violence in Manzanillo.

  1. I consider that without proper chicharrazos por el overthere el comandante will not confess to any crimes and will be released very soon without bail.
--And with chicharrazos por el overthere he will confess to anything the "authorities" demand.

  2. Wondering how the government came to such a conclusion of illegal operations? What evidence leads this individual to his arrest?
    Sounds like a witch hunt?
If the American government is not requesting his extradition. Expect him to be released soon.

  3. I believe CJNG provided Cesar Rafa Vaz's location to the AIC and CJNG makes request they detain him. AIC must take him because CJNG pays to own these plazas - but it is very notable that anyone would only be arrested and not killed for cooking in Menchos kitchen.
Any other cartel's jefe would have been killed in public manner and Mencho will probably not be so "polite" if Mayo sends another jefe to work in Mencho's plaza.

    2. 11:11 Mayo is old and not as powerful as Chapo, he actually tespects Mencho. Mayo call3d a truce in la paz to stop mencho from killing his guys, of course Mencho kept on doing it and as a result he lost many men who switched to work for Mencho instead. Cds isn't what it used to be. Chapitos lost their armed wing GENTE NUEVA who talking SH!t to them. After chapo nobody respects cds anymore. have you read that manta in Coahuila where Mencho is telling them how they stooped so low and using cholos for sicarios and how they are an embarrassment to the game?

    3. 7:56- Man that's the truth. Fierro got lucky and that's unbelievable he wasn't killed.

    4. Tripping 7:56 CDS since Chapos extradition and damaso detained is hella low profile and they still in Jalisco especially Guadalajara.

    8. 11:11...Mayo not as powerful as Chapo??? Thats an interesting perspective that I don't quite understand when Mayo's running a multi-billion dollar biz and Chapo's enjoying some quiet time in Colorado. Got news for you though - millions of people respect CDS. Millions in every major US city scoring their dope, hundreds of thousands in the chain of distribution around the world, and thousands of professionals working solely on washing the billions in revenue CDS make each month. You can hate but you gotta at least keep it real.

    9. Hate on the truth. CDS always was in and will be in Zapopan, Jalisco and CDMX. The cartel has big powerful families that are like deep rooted trees with in the cartel who dont burn their names nor the families activities in the biz. Remember, Caro Quintero, Ernesto Fonseca Carrillo and Miguel Angel Felix all at one point were established in jalisco and some nor all of those roots are still in the trade today.

    10. CDM-Makes sense that rival had to be detained as CJNG paid for the plaza but what happens when both pay for the plaza and 1 thinks they own it and are oblivious to the other paying for the plaza? How does the police commander handle that? That would sure put his knickers in a bind! You got to hate when you do it to yourself though!

    11. 11:41- Lol! Guess boils down to who is paying the guy with the bigger P olitical clout :)

    12. 9:56; I agree with you 100% and like the description you use that CDS families are like "deep rooted trees who do not burn their names and family activity". Anyone who goes for the nightlife en Tonalá, Tlaquepaque, Zapopan will hear and see people Sinaloense and there is no problem.

I do not believe Cesar Rafa Vaz was operating like a "deep, quiet root" from what the television and periódico writes.

    13. Not hatting on cds, they are just not as strong as they used to be, that's real. They lost half of Tijuana, mili lic cells in morelos went independent from cds, chiapas/Guatemala plaza is now cjng , they are having a hard time, that's for sure. I think you need to keep it real

    14. @ 7:35 I was just in Dangriga, Belize and Puerto Cortes, Honduras. CDS still has a strong hold in those countries mentioned and including equador. CJNG does not own plazas. They pay to work and do their biz in others plazas. Look at whats going down in TJ with CJNG/CTNG and all the mess they are making fighting amongst themselves.Just like CDS is doing. CJNG tried going into Mexicali and San Luis and got ran out even after they tried negotiating a deal they even tried going into Puerto Penasco and El Golfo de Santa Clara. yes, CDS is not as powerful as it once was but still is one of oldest running organizations in mexico with a wrold wide network.

    19. Hey tonto, how do you think cartels owns plazas? They pay local government officials. In Tijuana cjng and cds are going at it and they DO NOT PAY CDS piso.

      Delete
    20. 7:36; Plaza security and protection only hired thru local gob. Under PRI plazas are owned only by paying and coordinating with federal gob.

      Delete
    21. Cartels buy plazas, but own none of them, all they get is a chance to fight it out with all the other "plaza buyers".
Cartels really need to shoot themselves a few narco-politicians, in the ass with a shotgun, instead of "paying" good money to them sackers.

      Delete
    22. 3:02. Wrong. They own plazas and charge for the use of resources in their plaza until the plaza is stolen or the federal government repossess it as was the case in TJ with AFO when gob and Mayo repossessed / stole and paid for it. Try and tell any independent that worked TJ during 1990s that AFO didn’t own that and Mexicali. Jaja they OWNED IT NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

  4. He's replaceable, get chapitos or mayo andbthen we're talking. He was the one giving mencho headaches though but his career didn't last long at only 33 years old. Doubt he will be released

    1. Everyone is replaceable!
This applies to all aspects of employment.
However, be aware some employment career opportunities are imposed with limited longevity.

  5. He's one of the few that were still free from Jalisco and working against Mencho, he killed off or made the rest work for him. There is a video of a guy from milenio cartel from jalisco that went against mencho but got caught and was saying that about mencho. Forgot his name though
