Saltillo, Coahuila: CJNG leaves narco message gives 4 cartels 72 hrs to get out

By Chivis Martinez for Borderland Beat

Yesterday morning, CJNG narcomantas were reported being circulated throughout the city of Saltillo, the capital of Coahuila. It says they have arrived, will clear out cartels now in operation, and gives warning to all who are cooperatives with the cartels.

The message orders cartels it claims are operating in the city; El Cartel Del Golfo, Los Zetas,  El Cartel Del Noreste, and Sinaloa Cartel,  to leave Saltillo within 72 hours.

The message chastises El Mayo Zambada and the children of El Chapo Guzmán, Ivan and Jesús Alfredo who are also known as "Los Menores ("The Minors) who tells them they should be ashamed of how low their cartel has fallen.

CJNG ended with a message to the Coahuila Governor Ruben Moreira.  Stating “It is a pity that in the capital of your state, four cartels operate and no one did anything to get them out.  We will.”

Also mentioned was that accusation that Moreira’s secretary Victora Zamora works together with “El Homer” and “El Jaguar”.

Zetas once had a lock on the state of Coahuila, reportedly because of collusion with Ruben’s brother the previous Governor of Coahuila, Humberto Moreira.  Forbes Magazine placed Humberto on its list of “Ten Most Corrupt in Mexico”.  His threats of suing Forbes never came to pass, as no one thought it would.  Had a civil suit went forth, Humberto would have been mandated to give sworn testimony and deposition.  That would have been great fun…for those of us following his alleged criminality and antics.

When he left office, and his brother was voted in, there was a bad split between the brothers.  Ruben was rumored to immediately work against Zetas having complete control of the state, and made it possible for others, to operate, especially in the southern part of the state.

  9. CJNG has officially lost it! Looks like all the hype about Mencho by the news finally got to his head ,now its time to sit down and watch CJNG crumble . Messing with Mayo and CDS was their mistake . plus Coahuila is a neutral state where many cartels are allowed to operate ,for CJNG to try to claim that state is a joke , they should try doing this in Jalisco where half of Jalisco belong to CDS

    1. Being from Jalisco myself this comment is a complete and utter joke, many fractions and cells of various cartels do operate in the state but they have a tendency to last a couple weeks at most. NG is literally everywhere, from my small town bordering the sierra to each and every city in the state of Jalisco. I'm willing to bet that it's the exact same thing in areas controlled by CDS in Sinaloa or any other major cartel, your comment made my day lol

    3. I know we are under NGJ because all other small and large crime stopped. As a gringo in an Jalisco rural tourist area I went through a lot of computers over the years. Sometimes I could buy them back. Gringos were getting nailed and angry on social media. NJ killed the thieves and word got out. My wife complained to investigadores about criminal harassment and the street boss sorted it out. No kidnapping and no extortion and a lot less stealing. Before, the drug dealers had rooms full of electronics. New Generation can run and police the community in a fair way and much like it should be in minor problems. And they can keep the peace far better than the crooked courts and all the crooked police. The military told them to take it off the streets by shooting down two guys who operated out of a bushfor 3 years. Now they deliver just like pizza. If you must have cartels operating locally, CNGJ is the one you want and will likely win any war because, if you are in no way involved and cause no trouble, you can live in peace and even relax on security a bit.

In this one I agree, from what I could see, it names 3 but I have to agree with other publications and social nedia where this news broke. it was 4 .they would not have any cartel operating in a city without agreements, and for sure chapos kids.

According to social media they announced clearing out 4 cartels.

as for what is said about chapos sons and mayo. you are correct, i just gave the main points of the message. What was said is that they aligned with gutter level thugs in Monterrey then spilled over to Saltillo....

      Delete
    4. Even if the Narco Manta only threatens the "street level" thugs that work for Sinaloa the chances are that it will not stop Sinaloa from using these thugs and trying to sell dope. This means that a true war between the CDzs and CJNG can erupt. Mayo and his Sinaloa do not seem they like to be threatened directly or indirectly at their game. FYI Sinaloa has always used thugs like in the case of Juarez where they use the Mexicles and Artists Asasins prison/street gangs to help them against La Linea. These fuckers are pieces of shit themselves that rob banks and people as well as do drugs.
This fuckin message is not going to change a damn thing within CDS.

  29. Another fine example of a cycle that never ends. Where an inept government and municipal officials allow such to transpire.
"A new sheriff in town "(cartels). Not the elected
nor appointed municipal deputies, but criminals.
Beautiful example you display to the world Mexico. Where its permissible to set up illegal activities and do what you want.
Then again, you cornered that market of leasing towns, cities and states. Furthermore, its citizens.
I am fully aware that a narco message was erected. And implying government and municipal ineptness is far from what the states.
However, it's not rocket science to know that it's been leased to a new company.

  30. Amazing that there are that many drug users in this poor country. I live in Chihuahua and I have seen people you think could hardly make enough to survive that use and buy drugs. I guess more than enough are sold to kill for the market in cities and even pueblos in Mexico. Went to Zacatecas the other day and you can not believe the people that will follow you into stores while you are shopping, and have all kind of excuses as to why they need free money. It really gets annoying. The drug market is creating an enormous population of beggars here in Mexico. Lot's of crime comes along with it. They can really be aggressive.

    1. Agree 7:33. I live in the US around Pittsburgh, and it's the same situation with the addicts here. They have become quite emboldened since this Herion epidemic started. If these govs could at least eradicate the opiates, things would be a lot better. Many police I know would give anything to have the crack epidemic back. Lol. They say that was child's play compared to this mess.

  51. Looks like Mencho is headed for La Joya De Mexico aka Nuevo Laredo. First he caused internal division against the Zetas by funding the Vieja Escuela and splitting the Zetas into 3 factions: CDN, Vieja Esceula, Zetal del SUR. CDN is going to loose laredo if they loose Coahiula. Saltillo capital is where all power comes from. And since CDN only control Nuevo Laredo it'll be hard to defend two flanks, one from the East(vieja escuela) and one from the West(cjng).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Flanked maybe from the East, but since it's been impossible for cjng to go thru chiuahuas, Sonora, tamps, t.j., now they are trying thru coahuila, same fate for cjng. Nuevo Laredo has a truce with Juarez for the time being .... Cjng will not win this battle there en la Laguna seca

      Delete
  52. 7:32 lol what are you talking about CJNG hasn't still tried going after Tamaulipas and Sonora plazas. CJNG its deep in TJ they are allied with the CAF they push their drugs thru that border, CJNG has a peace treaty with Juarez Cartel they must be entering thru there to fight off La Laguna area against CDN, CDG, Z, Chapos etc. Another theory I have if in case CJNG is not entering thru Chihuahua they must be entering directly from Durango, with all the inside internal fight the CDS it wouldn't surprise me if any other strong cell operating in Durango has switch sides with the CJNG I am not talking like the whole state of Durango switching sides I am trying to say like a CDS or ex CDS like Cartel De La Laguna maybe allied or have made a peace treaty with the CJNG. Also to mention the "Z" aren't strong as like they used to be there are now 3 "Z" cells CDN (Treviños), Zetas Vieja Escuela (Ciudad Victoria and Monterrey) and Zetas Del Sur (Zetas operating in the southern region of Mexico) they say that this Las cell "Zetas Del Sur" are working with Cartel De Juarez and CJNG but not sure if it's true.

If the CJNG manages to take control of Coahuilas state capitol "Saltillo" and puts local police, GATES, etc. On there pockets it's going to be a clock ticking against CDN, CDG, Old School Z in Coahuila after the CJNG weakens the rest of the cartels in the Laguna region of Coahuila they are going to fight off the northern plazas of Coahuila and have the border of Piedras Negras as a there main plaza to cross drugs and other illegal activities. After they get establish in the state of Coahuila time will tell if there next move is to Nuevo Laredo 3 hours distance of Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

    2. lol. none of that is going to happen. CJNG is still struggling in TJ and Veracruz. They've been in Veracruz for 7 years now and still haven't taken it. 3 years in TJ and there's still a bunch of Sinaloenses there.

Don't even mention CDMX or Michoacan lol. still can't take it. Guerrero? nope. Colima? nope.

      like dude said, keep dreaming
