Tijuana, BC Unstoppable Violence: 9 Dead in Less than 24 Hours

Translated by Yaqui for Borderland Beat from La Zeta

Insecurity Remains Unstoppable

In Tijuana, in less than 24 hours, nine people were killed in different parts of the city. The figure amounts to 12 deaths in the first two days of June. Today, June 3 at least one more murder has occurred.

The first criminal act was reported around 07:13 hours on a dirt road on the Alacranes Canyon, in the colonia of San Angel, a lifeless body of a female wrapped in blankets was found. The victim was between 30 and 35 years of age.

Later on a neighboring road in the Urbi Villas del Prado section: the corpse of an unidentified man was found.
In the IMSS Clinic 1: a man died due to bullet wounds. The events occurred on the Roberto de la Madrid St, in the Colonia San Luis.
On the same day in the Natura neighborhood: a man was shot who died minutes later in the General Hospital.

Around 06:40 hours on Friday, June 2, in Colonia Campestre Murua : an abandoned white Astro van, was located
with four corpses inside.
Finally, in Colonia La Morita: the burned corpse of a woman was located on Manzanos Street between Cerezos and Passionario.
BAR 7
This Sunday morning, a security guard inside Bar 7 was assassinated by unknown assailants, witnesses reported hearing 4 gunshots around 6:00 am. Municipal Police arrived along with Red Cross paramedics but the guard died minutes later.
There was not one person/suspect/criminal reportedly detained.

Citizens Ask the Governor to Stop the Violence in Tijuana

The Family and Friends of Slain Construction Worker Raul Marin

A small group of people gathered on Sunday morning, June 4, to demand the authorities put a stop to the violence that has wracked the city which has claimed more than 600 lives so far in 2017.

"Enough of So Much Impunity" and "Justice" were the slogans and demands of those who gathered at the Torre of Aguascliente and the Monument of the Free Text Book. They demand immediate action from the government regarding the high levels of homicide but also violent robbery. They rallied civilian society to join the cause and to also focus on the innocent lives lost and children who have been victims at the hands of drug cartel assassins operating in Tijuana.

Jaime Marin, nephew of Raul Marin, a construction worker who was supposedly mistakenly murdered by criminals, spoke of how his uncle was assassinated outside a bar by being stabbed 14 times with a knife. One suspect was detained, but has not been sentenced in 13 months, and two other men implicated are still free.

"They (the authorities) lack the courage to do what is right and thus they are making the State of Baja California
ideal for organized crime operations."

The tally of deaths so far this year, 2017, equals more than 60% of the total number of deaths in 2016.

"I Want to Live Without Fear"

Guadalupe Fernandez, niece of the victim Raul, lamented the low turnout and the reality that local society does not
join forces to demand security outside of social networks. She demanded transparency and leadership from those who govern; "the authorities are not helping us and they need to be here for the people."

Children held up a banner with the words "I WANT TO LIVE WITHOUT FEAR".

The family of Raul Marin carried an urn with his ashes and wore T-shirts with his photograph to reafirm that he
represents the innocent victims of the armed groups that operate on the streets of Tijuana.

    1. What city do you live in that has had more than 600 murders in the first half of the year? I live in an American city ranked very high for per capita murders and we never approach anything close to 600. Even Chicago, as big as it is doesn't come close to that.

  4. Any reflection/reaction in our MSM to the mass murder taking place accross the border?
Every week worse than this week's killings in London, but not a single reaction.
    Why?
    Racism?
Dont want to show the truth about the WoD?
Albeit BB is trying to fill the void I'd say 99% of US citizens are oblivious to this reality.

It may just be another day in TJ to some but what is outstanding to me is the reference to the innocent and their brave try to get some support in the face of so much indifference and impunity.

I have seen rat and feral pig hunts, some got shot up while making love, some run because of the noise, most keep doing whatever they were doing, the Snipler Hunters just keep shooting 'em up, like in these "narcos" deaths.
Rodrigo Duterte .us be happy to have revived the mamurdering of the masses, in Brazil the police were killing their street children to clean their beloved cities streets not long ago but tijuas is too close to the US, so they just keep it "narcos vs narcos"

    1. Speaking of the funeral business I wonder if the number of young guys 18-24 years outnumber people dying of natural deaths of old age?Such a shame, the old diseased people would never throw their lives away like the narcos do but appreciation for life comes with age.

    2. Nobody cared about the multpile massacres and regimes toppled all over the world because it fit the designs of american preeminence, it was natural that the cancer would come to bite the US in the ass, it is only too close now in mexico, a few years ago it was down there in Chile and Argentina, Bolivia, el salvador, guatemala, honduras, venezuela, nicaragua, panama, peru, culombia...back then mexico accepted chilean refuges while exporting School of the Americas "trained" generals like Mario Ballesteros Prieto and Manuel Diaz Escobar to help pinochet, the CIA and the US Navy consummate their pinochetazo, with tortures, executions and disappearances...

    1. 7:20 in my unfounded, biased, uninformed unsourced opinion, you need to ask how muchthe plaza must produse to the governor or the president that chose the prostitute magistrates. Back in Grease or Rome, the prettiest of the cutest boys would be made popes, cardinals, emperors, senators, magistrates, at very young ages, in mexico or on the US that is just not good enough anymó.

    3. 5:33 I read everything but that is mostly in the past, these days I mostly cut the cheese on Bordeland Beat.
--LA PERRA DE BABILONIA would be a good read for you. By colombian author
--There is also the Lolita Express adventures of the high and mighty and the captive love island slaves of Jeffrey epstein, with trials, arrests, sentences, settlements with about 40 victims and cover ups to protect the high and mighty, from princes to kings and entrepreneurs, pretty much like a mexican paradise on the book of Lydia Cacho. Los Demonios del Edén.
But I mostly chase political gossip on internet these days, how about you? You picked a nice comment over there...

    1. Yes, I read it too. The short version is that " La Perra" has bee named released from prison and is back in TJ : Returning to War, implying that he is tied to the most recent wave of executions.

I will try to get to it, any info from the ground ?

  18. I want to know about "La Venganza del Muletas" does anyone know?

    ReplyDelete
  19. According to gente de la tia juana The recent attack on pepos was credited to los peloenes (old cell of teo) and el jp, it is unknown with who la perra would go working , however there is only two options, only cjng and mayo would have that kind of power to bring him and muletas back..there is nothing else to prove la perras presence in Tijuana, until Miguel comando or some Sinaloa singer start making corridos lol
