Published by DD Republished  from El Universal.

By Astrid Sanchez

"La Hamburguesa"

After a 5 hour confrontation with between members of the Gulf Cartel the leader of the plaza in Zacatecas, Jose Antonio N, aka "La Hamburguesa", was finally apprehended  by agents of the Ministry of defense (SEDENA) and the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC) of the Attorney General's Office (PGR).

Jose Antonio N. is considered one of the 122 Top Priority Objectives of the Federal Government listed at the beginning of President Enrique Pena Nieto's administration.

"La Hamburguesa" was apprehended along with two alleged accomplices;  Armando N, aka  "El Huevotes" and Ernesto N., aka "Don Garras" who served as escort.

Jose Antonio N. is regarded as one of the main generators of violence in Zacatecas and several executions and abductions in the region are attributed to him.

"La Hamburguesa" became leader and coordinator of a Gulf Cartel cell in the municipality of Mier, Tamaulipas, a position he gained after the the death of his superiors.

Jose Antonio N. has three arrest warrants for the crimes of injuries, homicide and organized crime in it's modality of terrorism.

With this apprehension, 107 objectives have been detained so far.

    4. @9:23PM Since BB has no data to support your claim that more than half our readers are bilingual in Spanish and English and in fact no way to collect that data would you please tell me on what you base your claim. Are you talking about the 63 comments posted so far on this story or the 42,000+ page views BB had yesterday? Give me some facts. Our data comes from "Blogger" which powers out site. If you have another source about out readership I would sure like to know about. Or maybe your comments are just based on "fake news" that you make up.

    5. I would put the figure at about 20% of BB readers as being bilingual....but that's just a guesstimate

And sol cuidate carnal q la cosa esta caliente que Dios te cuide carnal.

    7. @12:08 I happily accept your extended hand and shake it as friends. Also I apologize for my last sentence about fake news. I should not have added that.
But if you could see the comments that I delete and don't get posted you would understand why I sometimes get a little feisty.

As to the rest of my comment questioning your data that led you to the conclusion that more than half the readers were bilingual, I don't know how large your or your wife's family is but I think you would have to admit that whatever that number added up to it would not be a very good statistical sampling of all of BB's readers, but a new or casual reader would go away with the impression that "more than half the readers of BB are bilingual." That is why I took issue with your comment.

In my original comment to the reader asking him to make his comment in one or the other (Spanish or English) I was not complaining about comments being in Spanish. I was not even complaining about part of a comment being in English and part of it in Spanish. What I was complaining about was using the languages interchangeably in the same sentence (ex. English for 3 or 4 words, then Spanish for a few words and then more English). sometimes it is difficult for a English 1st language reader to understand what the comment is saying.

As for what the other members of BB do about comments, I know that Otis will sometimes delete a comment rather than take issue with the comment. Yaquis is a reporter, not an admin. and does not have the prerogative of deleting a comment and being somewhat a new reporter and though she is certainly not a shrinking violet, she is probably somewhat hesitant to disagree with a comment because she doesn't want to piss off a reader (she is trying to build a fan base).
As far as our great lady Chivis is concerned I will have to take issue with you. In her prime Chivis loved to engage with readers, whether it was criticizing and disagreeing with the comment or praising the comment. The last couple of years her health has restrained her from doing that. At times she has been unable to even sit up in bed a type. Engaging with readers is one of the things she loves most about BB. That is one of the reasons she is so loved by the readers.

Believe it or not that is what most of my comments are intended to do, engage the readers in debate or discussion. They are not intended as attacks on the readers. I don't give enough praise to comments, as Chivis does, but I will try to improve on that.

    1. Extra judicial killings (shooting em on site) will not change anything, since the root of the evil is the corruption on the top of mexican society.

Countless people have already been eliminated and they have all been replaced changing nothing except the violence spiraling out of control. Thats the fact, right?

If the top government officials, top politicians, top police commanders, top military commanders etc. stopped demanding bribes for letting free passage of drugs organized crime in Mexico would be done overnight.

At the end of the dance when they start playing the Shottish, Mr. Hamburger (the one pictured without handcuffs) will calmly grab the others weapons and shoot them with their own guns before escaping, within the posted speed limit of course so he doesn't cause any attention.

    1. Funny that you make mention of this... I've worked for HPD nacotics division in houston since 1999... from info we've gathered the Gulf Cartel has lost almost all influence in houston's drug market... Juarez and Sinaloa cartels have been the dominant players in the cocaine trade here in Texas for a while now.. no presence of CJNG detected yet but back in 2010 we had a heavy presence of the Familia Michoacán cartel... these days the gulf and zeros have fallen to nothing more than human trafficking and prostitution operations

    2. Who the fuck is going to send keys to houston when they can send them to florida or the east coast and earn more money.Plus with all them fucking tangos n all the other piece of shit gangbangers all they do is rob. So if them other cartel wants to do business with low life piece of shit prison gangs motherfuckers and get robbed thats on them.

    3. @1:36. If that fairy tale helps you sleep at night fine. However judging by what 4:50 said and judging by what's been going on in Tamaulipas for the past decade ... CDg and Zs are a joke compared to other cartels, sure they fight their plaza just like any other, but who is really making the $$$ ??? Someone made a comment about the pics that CDG posts and made fun of how laughable these guys are, you can tell they're poor, illiterate and malnourished.

      Delete
    4. 1:36 Houston is a HUGE distribution hub and most of the drugs from the RGV go there first along with SA town. The drugs go to the east coast and to the southeastern states from H-Town. Houstone Tangos aren't stupid and they wouldn't rob a cartel's drugs unless paid to do so by another cartel. Dallas supplies the Midwestern states and those drugs even go into Canada. Florida gets its keys by boat so why would Colombian and Bolivian product go thru Mexico. Florida has 2200 miles of shoreline so there is no need to bring cocaine into Mexico and the US interior just to go to Florida. It's easier to boat it in like they have done the last 4 decades.

      Delete
    5. 4:38 you must not know much about the CDG and Zetas history. I can assure you neither one is a joke. They will chop you up like a Chivo in less than 5 minutes if you cross either one of them. Tamaulipas, Zacatecas, Coahuila and Nuevo León are scary states to live in and I doubt you could survive 1 year in either one. If you want to malnourished or illiterate go to Michoacán or Durango.

      Delete
    6. 4:50 first off if you have worked for hpd narc division you'd know how hard it is for anyone to get a good reliable client and someone responsible for mass distribution. Not only that, delivering back the money is a hassle. And laundering it has become quite difficult. There for to establish all that in a city that belonged to cdg/zetas for decades when it comes to the drug trade is very difficult. I'm not saying they haven't lost influence because they have lost suppliers to begin with. But to say they don't have a lot of influence in Houston is ridiculous cdg actually controls most of the gulf coast when it comes to dope except for Florida. The Tamaulipas border has ALOT of independent drug dealers that don't work for cdg but work with cdg all their dope goes to Corpus Christi, SA, Houston and to the gulf coast

      Delete
    7. 4:50 just because you are on the HPD Narcotics Division payroll doesn't necessarily mean you work for them. Snitches aren't employees they are confidential informants. As 6:06 said CDG has a lot of influence from the RGV I-35 corridor into Louisiana, Georgia, Mississippi and Ark in sauce. Yes, I said Ark in sauce. That's what some of us folks from Texas called the state of Arkansas.
