Dr Mireles Valverde set to be released today after bail is paid by autodefensas Lawyer, Update FREED!

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Reforma aticle

Subject Matter: Dr Mireles Valverde
Recommendation: No prior subject matter knowledge required

Reporter: Abel Barajas
After 2 years, 10 months and 14 days in jail, a Federal Judge granted this afternoon provisional release to the former paramilitary spokesman of the dissolved Michoacan autodefensas, because bail which had been set at 30,000 pesos had been paid.

Ruben Olvera Arreola, a Judge of the 5th District in Michoacan, with base in Uruapan, determined that it is appropriate to replace his pre-trial detention with the precautionary measures of freedom, based on the rules of the new accusatory criminal justice system.

Once he leaves the Federal penitentiary of El Rincon in Nayarit

  5. Wonderful news, but 2 years 10 months 2 weeks too late to serve human justice. Happy the lawyer had the funds to act. Dr.Mireles will need some pesos to help get his feet on the ground. Can someone post an address for this. Thank God for freedom;let's all give Dr. Mireles a leg up. VG.

    1. Yup but they'll just say time served, won't do more time! In Mexico ur guilty till proven innocent, that's how it works in Mexico! Mencho helped these guys with guns, food, etc etc and they snitched on Menchito! He was pissed!

    2. System has changed now, which is why he was eventually let out, you are now innocent until proven guilty, but its up to your lawyers to claim you are pertinent to the new justice system.

  18. Canada would be a good base to foment a revolution in Mexico.
The DR. could be a regular on the news circuit and human rights groups and politicians explaining clearly and concisely the crime-politico problem in Mexico.
He could do a lot of good, as he has a respected voice!

  20. Was about time too I would say, and, humanly spoken, I find it kind of amazing he got treated so bluntly. But besides that, you finish this bit kind of vague, as if there was something else that you were going to report on too, as if there were something else going on you wanted to say, but than you didn't get around to finishing "Once he leaves the Federal penitentiary of El Rincon in Nayarit'. So, once that happened, he what..?... then what?.. then he, we and or she, they..?? Thanks, any way!

    3. Mireles was not given support allegedly from cartels until a long time after the autodefensa movement started, and he distanced himself from that support once he realised that the government was trying to support H3, Los Viagra and Americano via the Fuerza Rurales

    4. 10:00 IF Dr Mireles was used, his persecution and imprisonment are not fake, giniral Oscar Naranjas from Colombia, who came to mexico to steal the presidency for epn with his colombian hackers and to organize the AD did a good job, Dr Mireles and his followers did their job for reals, and paid for it with prison...
You, cemita, woud not go to prison for a minute for an of your beliefs.

    5. WELL IF HE DID GET HELP HE DID NOT DO IT WITH THE INTENTION OF HARMING INNOCENT PEOPLE,BUT TO HELP HIS COMMUNITY OR THAT OF DEFENSELESS PEOPLE, I HAD EVEN HEARD MAYO ZAMBADA WANTED TO HELP WITH APACHE HELICOPTERS AND HEAVY ARTILLERY. HIS INTENTIONS ARE GOOD THROUGH AND THROUGH, NEVER EXPECTED NOTHING IN RETURN, HE IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE QUOTE FROM EMILIANO ZAPATA I'd rather die on my feet, than live on my knees.

    6. 2:48 tampoco, too many ca does burn the saint, Dr Mireles is as affraid of dying as anybody can be, he also asked epn to not to kill him, there is a video, and I am sure that is the o ly reason the good doctor was not killed, he put epn on the spot, and got put in prison anyway.now la pinchi pelona de la Priscilla y la pinchi bigotona de su vieja, (wife) will make the good dotor wish he was dead all over again!

  27. You can't say this guy did anything wrong, even acting outside the law in his case was the right thing to do. I don't often praise vigilantes but in this guy's part of the world things were truly hopeless. He's a fuckin hero that deserves support from his government not improsonment. I hope he continues to help his country, anyway he can and I hope he's allowed to do so.

Se dice que tuvo que firmar edades y prometer no participar en cosas políticas. Está prohibido ver a mucha gente y hacer muchas cosas que la gobernación no desea. Es un pájaro a quien se le ha dado una jaula más grande y cómoda.
