Mexican authorities in coordination with the FBI, arrested Zia Zafar, a US citizen of 32 years of age and who according to recent investigations, had recently converted to Islam. He is responsible for shooting a US Embassy employee, last Saturday January 6, in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

The location of Zafar was discovered through the information obtained through a credit card payment in a coffee shop of Colonia Arcos Vallarta, in Guadalajara.

Zia Zafar was arrested at his home, were the sunglasses and the wig that were used during the aggression were also found.

After the attack, investigators reviewed the images captured by the security cameras of the area, and from there they tracked Zia Zafar till the moment of the attack.

The cameras revealed that he was at a Starbucks moments before the attack. According to images obtained from security cameras of Starbucks, he was wearing the same wig and the sunglasses , that he was wearing when he attacked Christopher Nolan Ashcraft, who was identified as the victim by the British newspaper The Guardian.

According to investigations, Zia Zafar arrived to Guadalajara on the 25th of November of 2016, flight 5939 of the American Eagle Airline from Phoenix, Arizona.

This Sunday afternoon, during a press release, the PGR and the Secretary of Foreign Relations informed that the arrested individual would be sent back to the United States.

Zia Zafar was born on January 1st of 1985 and it was confirmed that he recently converted to Islam.

Nolan Ashcraft received a single gunshot to the chest; therefore the authorities believe that Zafar has training in firearms.

The FBI is participating in the investigations and offered 20 thousand dollars in exchange of information involved with the case.

Law enforcement personnel of Jalisco, Eduargo Almaguer Ramirez, claimed that the victim was in charge of immigration visa interviews.

    3. Mexican citizens need to stop blaming USA and Americans for their problems. If Mexicans don't like their government then overthrow it. It was great to see all of the recent protests and demonstrations. That is a very good start. It works!

  6. No more water boarding in the USA . I got this feeling he will be begging to hurry up his extradition . By the time he gets to the USA all they will have to do is say Boo to get him to talk and then beat the shit out of him to get him to shut up . But on the other hand we should give him the assumption of innocent at least until mexico tortures a confession out ofhim .

  9. This is how terrorists are getting into the USA. They go to Mexico first then either get into USA legally or through poyeros. Look at who they killed. Just a coincidence? I bet they have established a big network in Mexico now. Very scary.

    5. Funny. Pulse night club shooting spree, San Bernardino shooting spree, and the Boston Marathon bombing were all done by terrorists who were legally in this country. Quit trying to paint Mexico as a breading ground for islamic terrorists. It's not. Narcoterrorists, yes. But there are far easier ways for terrorists to get into the United States than illegally via Mexico. So quit propagating this b.s.

    8. 10:28. Terrorists have their people working in various US Embassies in many countrespects including Mexico. The guy was killed by a terrorist for not doing what he was supposed to do. Compared to the US it easier to get into Mexico and Canada too if you are in the terrorism business. Then it's on to the USA. The citizenship of the killer and the victim are unimportant. Terrorists and the people who assist them are nearly everywhere now. They come into the US and Mexico from many countries.

    9. El Blanco Nieves. This has nothing to do with Trump. Your racism and paranoia shows. I'm a mexican and worked for AFI for years. There are many Islamic terrorists in Mexico now. 21. Its all about terrorism! We've (USA) been trying to get Mexico to declare Narcos terrorist so we can wage our war on terror across the border.

Remember when those idiots threw grenades into that club in Monterrey... US said it was terrorism, the Mexican Govt said no way, it just narcos killing innocent people. Now we have stories how narcos are helping ISIS south of the border, and now this recent Islam convert American shot a consulate employee. (we'll see how long it takes for them to say he is an ISIS sympathizer)

And how the Keystone Federales & Muni Police can solve the case within 24 hours... smells like CIA BS to me. They solve less than 5% of homicide cases which means the narcos are brilliant at covering their tracks (which is not the case) or this is a plant!

The US is doing its best to scare the hell out of its citizens (via Trumps comments on Mexico, ISIS in Mexico, Unrest in Mexico, Corruption in Mexico and the list goes on) to think we need a heavily fortified fence dividing the countries. When the economies collapse, this will get worse, and it will be in the near future. And if you think the killing of spineless narcos is bad now; when they are declared terrorists, they will not have any caves to hide in. They wont be scared of "El Whoever the F", they'll be dealing with JSOC who reports to the US President, no one else. They create their own Kill Lists, and you better pray you're not on it, because if they have to go through your family and friends (collateral damage) they will. They are highly trained killing machines that have had plenty of real world experience throughout the world.

When this all happens, there will be a sh!tload of collateral damage that the Mexican Govt will protest about, then accept bribes from the foreign corporations rebuilding the country. Its all part of the grand plan to take resources from Mexico and some other countries of interest.

Whether you believe this or not, I really don't care. Whether you think Narco Sicarios or wannabes can fight it out with JSOC or similar... I don't care. The train is moving at 200mph and you only have 1000ft of track... good luck avoiding the train wreck about to happen. In the end, this all saddens me, as there will be a lot of needless suffering (not that there hasn't been already) in Mexico, and there is no acceptable reason for it... outside of GREED! Mexico may have a lot of warlords (Narco Leadership), but the US are the Lords of War. Prepare yourself!
