Airplane carrying "El Chapo" has landed on Long Island

Borderland Beat

The plane carrying Mexican drug lord Joaquin Archivaldo "El Chapo" Guzman Loera has landed at MacArthur Airport on Long Island Thursday evening just hours after it was announced he was being extradited to the United States.

El Chapo’s attorneys say they were not notified of the extradition. “It was illegal. They didn’t even notify us,” said lawyer Andres Granados, who accused the government of extraditing his client to distract from nationwide gasoline protests. “It’s totally political.”

The Sinaloa capo will be incarcerated in the maximum-security Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

Mexico says the extradition was a goodwill gesture towards both the outgoing and incoming U.S. administration.

His first court appearance will be tomorrow morning.

Photo below is of his now vacated prison cell in Juarez, Chihuahua.

The Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Manhattan and Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Brooklyn (below)  are the principal federal holding facilities of alleged and convicted terrorists.

Even if, el Mayo is in the case his own sons gonna come to testify. Here is the casting: Vicente and Sera Zembada, El Mamito, El Chino, Flores bro... If La Barbie en El Mochomo can get something they will jump on hit.

Chapo will need an offer super heavy to avoid a super max life sentence. He is too famous they can't recycle him into the WITSEC program. That's why he is scared is future is solitary confinement.

    5. I have a friend who worked in intelligence, then left the military to work for the private sector in government contracts, he is a computational/computer science and engineering guy. He worked in Mexico City for 13 months with their military intelligence in a consulting project. His exact words to me were the Mexican and US government know exactly when and where the Narcos are cartel bosses are at all times.....it's all smoke and mirrors, Cel phones can be controlled remotely.....and located they can activate your camera to take photos, and do all sorts of shit. He showed me a little demonstration...... Andhe said a lot of this stuff goes back to 2007 they are probably way more advanced now.....the governments let them, because like it or not it's an economy..... When the US arrests a cartel boss they "seize" or "freeze" their assets, ask yourself where that money goes?

The war on drugs was never a an actual war but rather a profitable social experiment and in that regard business is booming.

What long term gain does the USA have or benefit from housing Chapo and running him through the US court systems...????? It is going to cost millions alone just in the court process... Never mind the housing in prison

This was an attempt of EPN at political posturing.

      Delete
    2. it costs nothing to lock up Chapo in the USA they already paid to build the prison so the cell is not going anywhere he just another person buried alive with or without Chapo there will be a cell there with guards watching it.

the feds give my state rhode island about 32k per year per inmate and the state spends about 24k per year per inmate so they make a profit of 8k per year per inmate so no owrries about the cost Chapo is there for the long hual you better believe that.

You think he wanted to die when he was running barefoot across the roof attempting to escape? LMAO. You are an idiot. None of these guys wanted to be made into swiss cheese. They didn't choose to be target practice for the marines and police. They just made bad decisions that ultimately resulted in their deaths when they were unable to escape because the jig was up. Quit romanticizing these guys. They aren't the honorable, respectful criminals you seem to think they are. They're vicious pieces of shit that deserve a bullet in the brain.

I do wonder about the legality of this extradition. It seems incredibly sudden, and arbitrary. Like some shady backroom shit went down. And I do believe his lawyer didn't know shit- as the powers-that-be were probably paranoid AF that Shorty may escape. Don't seem possible as he definitely looks fucked up by the isolation and solitary confinement of Juarez.
In the long and short run- his imprisonment ain't gonna mean jack shit- as the dope will be in Sunset, and everywhere else like it has for a long time. And there is probably 100 aspiring Shorties to take his place- from Sunset Park, to the sierras of Sinaloa
