Chapo is "very cold and scared"...files with the court request for an additional blanket..

Mica republished from Univision
Chapo has become Mexico's most whining inmate in history...he should not have escaped Altiplano, seems he was much more comfortable there.

The defense team of lawyers Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera filed in a Mexican court an appeal to request  an extra blanket in  Ciudad Juarez Prison, because,  "he is very cold".

Silvia Rocio Delgado, lawyer of former leader of the Sinaloa cartel, quoted by the news website Milenio, said his client is very cold due to a wave of freezing temps affecting the state of Chihuahua, where the criminal is incarcerated .

Meteorological reports indicate at this time of year in Ciudad Juarez to 5 degrees Celsius (41F) and maximum to 21 degrees Celsius (69F).

"My client said that he has been very cold and scared with the freezing we have in this city," Delgado, who served the appeal before the Sixth District Court said.

The request is that Loera Guzman is given an extra blanket, he has already been provided, according to his lawyer, a very thin and insufficient blanket  to cope with the low temperatures.

"It's amazing that we have to resort to move around a federal court to ask for a blanket," said the lawyer.

Previously, the wife of kingpin Emma Coronel has denounced alleged ill - treatment received by her husband and the deterioration of his health in prison. "I want to know about the extradition,  if  my health is not protected,  I will no longer be alive by then." he told his wife on a visit in October.

    1. Like any of us would know what it's like to live in a supermax. Death would be better than the worst kind of concrete hell hole that they would put you in.

What gets to me is the arrogance of the article. Like they're tough enough to endure supermax. I really doubt it. As soon as you have no rights to talk to anyone a part from a lawyer, you'll feel sorry for anyone that has to live like this. It is a human rights violation. It would be better for everyone if they put a bullet in these prisoners' heads.

Same BS from the first time at Altiplano. Show the Mexican people that Mexico's top drug baron is suffering in government care as a front and a ploy to activate his forthcoming escape. Chapo will "escape" soon.

    1. I think most people here have a concept of human rights but you shouldn't expect people to feel bad for a drug dealing mass-murdering rapist.

He is getting what he deserves and getting a lot more rights than what he gave to his victims.

Plenty of people deserve sympathy, El Chapo is not one of them.
