Guerrero: No room in morgue freezers, bodies left in parking lot

The bodies of the 10 men executed yesterday found in the Chilpancingo area,  remain lying on the parking and entrance area of the Forensic Medical Service of the capital (Semefo), because there are no room in the morgue freezers. The weather in the city is averaging 81 degrees Fahrenheit.

The storage capacity has been exceeding capacity because of the runaway violence that has  plagued the region and reflects the failure of the federal security strategy that directs the Army to gain stability in the  state and assist municipal authorities to combat drug trafficking. All three government entities, have long been accused  of corruption and being in collusion with organized crime.

In the Semefo of Chilpancingo, which depends on the state Health Department, there are two cold storage units with the capacity to store 100 bodies each  and both are typically near or over capacity.

Therefore, the 10 executed bodies found yesterday in Chilpancingo,  remain lying in the parking lot of Semefo, in the capital of Guerrero, due to the lack of space to ensure decent treatment for victims of the drug war, that has engulfed the state in one of the worst ever crises of insecurity, similar to 2012 violence, where the official number of intentional homicides exceeded two thousand that year.

Recently there were 47 bodies arriving in one day, including the 33 bodies, eight severed heads that were exhumed in the clandestine cemetery Zitlala.

But the Mexican government doesn’t want you to be concerned, because they say they now have violence under control, So says Salvador Cienfuegos, the chief of Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena) with the assistance of the army, but recognize news reports and eye witnesses may say otherwise.

"The question of the numbers that do not match what society hears about…. I could not give you an answer to that. I can say what we know and have documented - and I dare say: We have done a good job and crime rates have gone down.  It is not a failure, rates have gone down compared to before, the corrupt army keeps good records.” he concluded.

But despite the glowing report by the state, official reports of the state Department of Public Safety (SSP), headed by General Pedro Almazan Cervantes, warns that the registration of intentional homicides this year are similar to the documented statistics in the violent 2012

    2. Bingo. It's not a coincidence that the really crazy beheadings, dismemberments and over-the-top violence started about 10 years ago, when hielo/cristal/Meth exploded in Mexico. Stricter regulations were put in place in the U.S. while the MX cartels pioneered business relationships in Asia that allowed mass importation of precursor drugs through the Pacific ports around then, shifting the business South.

A lot, if not most, of these killers are tweaking hardcore when they go out and kill or get killed. The "game" used to be much different when it was just marijuana, amapola and coke.

    6. Governor astudillo, has been accusing the CRAC-PC Comite Regional de Autodefensas Comunitarias-Policia Comunitaria of being the criminals, classic finger pointing prolaganda by a criminal regime, the goal is to kick them out of the way, after all the military won the wars against the 43 +6 + many other rebel drug trafficking comunistas. The thing is to implant the gestapo style mando unico with policia nazional in charge, and use only a few local watchdogs, drug traffickers and caciques to keep the state aligned with el pri, same all over mexico, to take over and be ready for 2018...
No narcos were ever as evil as the federal government of epn.
But the donal is ready to send more help, CARRIER can send now their manufacturing to mexico and supply freezers to the morgue in mexico in lieu of taxes, noatte that they were given 7 million dollars to "stay" in indiana by governor Fence.
      How's that about offshoring promises?
--i hope the freezers get there on time, before the rats eat all the meat laying on the ground.
And stop blaming the cartels, you have thousand of soldiers there since the 50's, they retire to a life of crime there or wherever they go, AFTER SEDILLO'S JUNDILLO, THE GAFES WENT ON TO A LIFE OF CRIME AS ZETAS, others have just been more discreet with their shenanigans...

CJNG, Guerreros Unidos, resurgent La Familia Michoacana, La Barredora (CDS armed faction), CIDA (Independent Cartel of Acapulco, formerly Beltra-Leyva players), they're all down there with shifting alliances. It's a s*** show.

About the bodies left on the patio, maybe on the church or on the plaza the people could pitch in a peso or two, or just go and drop them in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Graco Ramirez always knows what to do, just take some DNA samples, and number the bags...

  14. Can we hazard a guess at how many people have been cocinar(cooked)dissolved by the various cartels ? The point being is that every one of those 1000s of dissolved people are listed as missing so not included in death figures.
Certain areas were actually known by local people as Cocinas where 100s of people were disappeared, everyone knew, but the authorities didn't.The Zetas dissolved(allegedly)at least 300 people in the wake of Acuna,Piedras Negras,in Tamaulipas CDG released a video where they are dissolving Zetas,at least 500 are mentioned as going the same way ?

Are you joking? Yes, they did. At least the local ones did. In Acuna and Piedra Negras, the municipal and state police helped dissapear the 300 people taken and knew all about the acid "cocinas". Maybe PGR big-wigs in El DF didn't know, but the locals were in on it 100%.

The NEW facilities will be finished someday..........neighbors complaining of the stench, too late to ID the corpses......save DNA testing. If they cant /dont fix refrigeration, its not likely they will do Dna testing either.........just sayin'.
