Tijuana: 631 kilos of cocaine seized

Tijuana: 631 kilos of cocaine seized

In the largest cocaine seizure in Tijuana this year, over a half ton was confiscated by elements of the Army, and Los PEP, from a home on Todos Santos, in Colonia Pacifico Industry. Initial reports indicate men were observed transferring packages from two cars to the home, and some how the Army and PEP responded, arresting 4 men, and seizing the product.

There is believed to be more product inside the home, which is being closely guarded, as the press takes shots of the kilos stacked high on a press conference table, sealed and taped for entry into the US, color coordinated for distributor, location and runner.

This seizure comes a few months after a quickly built tunnel running into Otay Mesa, San Diego was compromised, and 1,000 kilos were seized in transit to Los Angeles.  Los PEP had made several significant seizures this year, almost all linked to CJNG, including the 50 kilos in May, and another seizure of 319 kilos in March.

These are significant losses to the owners, investors, and plaza bosses overseeing these shipments, with no explanations.  The latest seizure is certainly linked to higher level operatives given it's size, and the relatively small amount of crystal found.  Cocaine is more then 10x the price of crystal in Tijuana and in the United States, it cost more to purchase, traffic, and cross then any of the other drugs.

631 kilos purchased in Colombia at a cost of roughly 1500-3000 per, by the time it's reached Tijuana, it's worth close to 22,000, as individual units, so this represents a loss of easily 10 million dollars, a conservative estimate..  This could destroy the confidence of the bosses in the ground crews ability to protect and cross major shipments.

    1. 1500 to 3000 is how much it costs to make. The farmers are getting 500 to 1000 a kilo for coca paste. Then that paste gets processed and it becomes 80% pure cocaine. Then they sell it between 4000 to 6000 a kilo and probably 70% pure cocaine. After it gets cut again and sold for around 10000 .Then cut again and sold for 25000.*At this point the low level street sellers cut it again and sell for 75 plus for a gram.at this point it's been cut so much it's probably 15 to 20% cocaine.everyone that sells it is cutting it with fillers like lidocaine, lethosin, speed, horse dewormer, ect.

    2. 4000 per key is what they actually get it for. 8000 delivered to mexico. Canadians buy off the Mexicans. Colombians will sell to anyone but aint no way Canadians moving dope threw a mexican plaza

    4. It is EXACTLY how the capos, major drug dealers make loads & loads of cash, by selling OVERPRICED GARBAGE. Is around 60%-80% pure when the colombians, mexicans get it straight from the source, then by the time it hits mx northern border most likely an extra cut or two? .. That'll be like 30-40% pure, then when it finally gets to the other side.. Guess what. It is almost sure that there will be an extra cut or two which would make it some where around 10%-20% coke, the other 80% would be unknown chemicals that could easily mess you up... ALL DEPENDING on the type of drug dealers, thugs selling the chet on them streets. Many of those bastards are money hungry & they'll do anything to maximize their profits. Consume at your own risk..

    2. If it is cds coket it, only means they lost the plaza. Los pep and army work for the owners of the plaza and wouldn't make such a big bust for them.

  17. I love it ! Take down some more ! We need to be doing cavity searches at all the border crossings . Bring on KY jelly and stop this shit . Hand cuff the fuckers inside a large trough and feed them mineral oil . We need to stop ever crumb of this shit from getting in . STOP THE COMMERCE . Then maybe the drug traffic from across the border will be looked at different by the people on the Mexican side .

Err,do you mean like these below you?Only manufacture every illicit drug, make tunnels, private armies, camiones blindados, arms, then flood countries with it,but its all someones elses problema? That is part of the problem, its ok to send poison to the gringos, but not Mexico mentality?

    5. The pathetic Mexican cry of"US drug consumption is all to blame"

      Delete
    8. 10:04 you fail to realize they ppl in the u.s dont take drugs because mexicans bring it across the border, its the other way around...mexicans bring the product because americans have a demand for it..If the mexicans didnt bring it the demand would still be here so best believe, someone else would bring it over..

      Delete
    9. The mexicans earned the job of moving shit across the borders because of their burro and mule skills, not to traffick whenever they want, like amado told them, "son chingaderas!"
Becoming free lancers behind the backs of the drug trafficking real owners is what lands your ass in prison...

  32. The fentanyl scare is putting a huge damper on whatever coke trade there has been in these parts. Just about everything that can conceivably be cut or disguised is laden with bootleg fentanyl. Coke is NOT addicting per se and those who might otherwise splurge and host a weekend binge are doing something else with their discretionary money than risk OD'in on fentanyl tainted coke.
