Thursday and Friday were bad days in Guerrero where 21 people, including three Federal Police officers, were reported assassinated as drug gang violence continues.

In Chilapa, a town that has lived with warring drug gang for at least three years, three off duty

Federal Police were having lunch and relaxing on their day off at a fonda (inn) in the mercado  agroindustrial.  They were dressed in causual civilian clothes (T shirt, shorts and tennis shoes) when shortly after 2:PM three gunmen walked into the market and opened fire on the three policemen with high caliber weapons.

All three were killed and  a woman who worked in the fonda and another civilian bystander who was close by.were injured.

The agroindustrial market is in a side Eucaria Apreza Boulevard, in the same geographical area where two hotels that house dozens of officers and federal police are located.  The three officers were among many who have been assigned to Operation Chilapa, a joint security forces effort launched in January to bring law and order to the region, -

In a statement, the spokesman on security Guerrero Coordination Group, Roberto Alvarez Heredia, reported that 'the agents who lost their lives are  Rafael Gomez Flores,  César Arce Florentino and Alejandro Tinoco Arreola. 2. Could Gente Nueva be another name for the Familia successor group La Nueva Familia? Iguala was a battleground between GU, Los Rojos, and the remnants of LFM. If I remember correctly, the most recent maps of territorial control that the Mexican gov published showed LFM as having only a few strongholds in the Northeast region of Guerrero (the area bordering Michoacan and Estado de Mex).

  9. This is terrible. Will this crap ever stop. I read many comments on other post where people from Mexico defend this place saying it is not that bad. There are mass shootings all aroungd the world by people who wish to support ISIS, but they hapen here and there, Mexico has this crap happening way to often. More than anywhere. My advice is for those defending this place and getting offended, don't. Be happy others acknowledge the trouble that happens there. When you defend these actions it is exactly what your government want, it all swept under a rug.I simply cannot believe that a group of people think money is more important than a human life. I truly pray something will bring a big change so the citizens can live in peace.

  10. I agree 4:36 .........
It is just way beyond imagination that people are being mowed down left and right , sleeping on their floors , kids wading thru body parts to , hopefully , a school with a living breathing teacher, citizens digging up the countryside for their own missing , SAY WHAT ?? the whole place is awash in drugs , dinero and corruption and the good people are either starving or working themselves half to death for salve wages .
Thanks to all that try to get this news out ! Why isn't this in the LA Times and or the NY Times , on every front page in the US ?? Oh, ya right " THEY " are rapists and murders and steal " our " jobs. IF EVERY Mexican worker in the US went on strike for one day it would shut the whole country down . Look at what the striking AG workers accomplished in San Quintin, BC ........a long way to go but it's a start.

    1. Nobody seems to care about other countries except their own.take a look at what news people watch or read. It's almost always local flavoured with some national news but rarely global unless it's an earthquake or flood. They just aren't interested unless it effects them. Can you ever keep a conversation going about things that are reported on BB with your friends?

    2. Hi canadiana. The news covers quite a bit of international news, at least in the US. Mostly the crap going on in the Middle East. The problem with Mexico however, is it would consume all the news. Everyday something is happening. As I am typing this, someone is making a mass grave. I truly don't think people don't care, i think people realize you cannot help what doesn't want to be helped. Why do they flee their own country? Leaving behind their loved ones to face those dangers. Many are in denial about the condition things are in. Trying to help is like trying to help a drug addict who is not ready to face the realities and quit drugs. Furthermore if the US were to step in, they would immediately become the villian. They would then be blamed for everything. Best to let them figure out their own mistakes in Mexico.

  17. As long as these white kids in america keep getting smacked back with this heroin and white and paisa kids keep making lines of coke, it's never going to end.. The only winners are the CIA/DEA/judges/prosecuters/ and Mex/U.S crooked government that get all the cash with no reprocushions.. The losers are the sellers and users, the sellers might not always be caught though..
