El Mochomo bribed the Governor and the Police and Military in Sinaloa

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Proceso article

[ Subject Matter: El Mochomo ( Alfredo Beltran Leyva)
Recommendation: Some prior knowledge of the B.L.O would be useful]

Reporter: Proceso Redaction
The Capo Alfredo Betran Leyva "El Mochomo" bribed the Governor of Sinaloa. The Department of Justice of the United States presented evidence that "El Mochomo" also bribed Police and Military Commanders.

Among the evidence presented by the department to the Federal Judge Richard J. Leon is testimony that gives account of the bribes paid by the Capo, specifically the Municipal Police, the State Police, the Governor of the State, Federal Transit Police, the Office of the Public Prosecutor and their investigative agency in Culiacan.

The investigation doesn't include names. "El Mochomo" was extradited to the United States during November of 2014 to face narco trafficking charges. The bribes were paid between 2000 and 2008, when Beltran Leyva operated as one of the principals of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Juan S. Milan Governor of Sinaloa between 1999 to 2004. His successor was Jesus Aguilar Padilla, who Governed between 2005 and 2010.

According to the Newspaper Reforma, the Department of Justice of the United States " sought to introduce this evidence as proof in the process that follows against Beltran Leyva in the Federal Court of District of Colombia for conspiracy to distribute Cocaine and Methamphetamine.

  4. Soooo is this going to extend his time in US prison? Or will they go after the Sinaloa Governor?

  5. Will Mexico actually now go after and arrest this ex governor and the criminal policing forces that were bribed? Probably not because they would have to shut down and go after almost all the policing forces and people in office and arrest them also, once names start coming out. Even if arrested they will just pay off a judge and be on their way because it will be said there is not enough evidence. A broken system for sure. This is one reason they did not want to give up Chapo and some of the other big players. He could bring down the whole government in theory. I say in theory because the government will not let themselves be taken down.

    1. Most are not in the USA for the toilet cleaning jobs. Construction, maquiladoras, and more. I know a lot of my friends there that are making big money under the table. A wall is not the option to me. Will not work. Better to enforce the laws like they do here in Mexico. Make worker visas easier to attain. Make laws on what type of jobs people can take so as not to replace their own citizens for low pay. Fine companies that do not abide by the laws. Things can be worked out so both sides benefit. The illegal immigration should apply not just to Mexicans, but people who cross illegally from around the world. Down here in Mexico they do not allow people to work without permits. Look at France right now. They not allowing the poor Sudanese to cross. If they do you watch as the ghettos rise and the crime rates climb. Just like is happening in all parts of the world. If you personally want to keep a happy house, you must know who you invite in and who you allow to stay with you. But most people do not want anyone living in their house. That includes people here in Mexico.

--the immigrants take jobs from US citizens, jobs that can not be offshored, good paying jobs, menial jobs, anything, and nobody can stop it, there is too much money flowing to those that matter, sell out politicians, bought and paid for by lobbyists, that will stay bought, because they have principles...just like their buyers'.

  13. How can anyone possibly -get a grip- on seemingly bottomless corruption down here. It is more than an epidemic it is universal and total. From the preventiva, to ministerio publico, juez, delegado, senador, gobernador, generales y admirales militares, secretarias, incluido secretaria de gobernacion y el jefe presidente todo son cupable de corupcion. This is unfixble. Unfixable corruption leads to a 3rd class country then a decline to Nigerian or Somalian grade chaos. The only thing holding this mess together is the power of the familia. As much as I hate the racism of Donald Trump some of his points about immoral inducumentos are absolute fact. Too many are violent criminals on the run.

    1. I live here in Chihuahua, Mexico and you hit the nail right on the head. Your day starts when you walk out the door and face the gauntlet of Ministerio publico (Vialidad) and try to escape a ticket or a bribe even if you were not speeding or doing anything incorrect. Here on TV a few months ago someone had a hidden camera in a private meeting in the offices of the ministerial police. It was played on TV. They were told that each officer had to write 20 tickets per day or they would loose their job. On top of the people that have to pay bribes. This is big business here. Can you imagine people getting tickets for 900 pesos and then having to live and feed a family that is making only 4,000 to 6,0000 pesos per month. It is pure raping of the people. You can literally drive drive 5 to 10 miles and see in excess of 70 police. They are not fighting crime either most of the time. Went to El Paso the other day and counted 3 police cars and i motorcycle cop in 2 days driving around there. The oppression and corruption is horrible here.

  31. alfredo married chapos prima not sister,, and he wasnt betrayed, and they didnt killed edgar, one of macho prietos pistoleros did by mistake, am pretty sure they were all druged up and panicked as the war between beltranes and cds was at their peak, they panicked and got confused didnt know they were edgar and emperatriz son was together with edgar, as far as i know, there were different things that happened, one when they had a truce with zetas arturo became very good friend of lazacano, he was letting lazcano pass drugs to cds plazas, once arturo didnt let chapos people take out drugs at the df airport, that pissed chapo alot,he got arturo and mayo to a meeting mayo said its ok chapo just next time give the heads up and everything ok. and arturo said hes people didnt recognised chapos, they heard arturo on the radio a conversation with lazacano he was going to betray cds, so itisnt sure if they betrayed alfredo apparently not. even alfredo says that.. so the rest its history arturo allies with zetas... santiel wanst a son of alfredo and i think santiel was killed by nacho ,by animal, or by ondeado .. can t remember who did but one of them i think el animal and ondeado......

  42. I think mochomo know who betrayed his ass, that caused the rupture with el chapo, caused the death of policia judicial federal commander Edgar Eusebio Millan Luna, supposedly by the BLO, but more likely by genaro garcia luna his extortionist kidnapper for ransom murdering boss who ended up with ALL THE MARBLES IN HIS AND HIS BOSS'S POCKETS, his boss and partner in crime: Carlos slim helú, the richest man in the world, chilango/lebanese...pickpocket...

    ReplyDelete
  43. well mochomo found out that after the reporter got killed they started to build a case for his capture nothing to do with chapo.arturos beef was that federal police and soldiers hit one of his sons houses and killed 5 people arturo claimed that federales where an armwing of el chapo.he then asked chapo and mayo to break out el mochomo they refuse thats when they piss him off and he starts going after all CDS members he disliked and also federales and soldiers leaving the cartulinas policias de paja y soldaditos de somthing .for raiding his sons house.el chapo still owed el nino de oros death carrillos contracting el MP and his brother is certainly not out of the question because they where having problems with arturo and after edgar guzman gets killed arturo sends el grande to pick up el mp and his brother.el grande said he was waiting for that moment a long time.
