  1. Now the US will have to tear down "that wall", cross that Rio Grande, and reinstall them about the Tehuantepec Istm and the Usumacinta river to feel safe, that is the politics approved for the Palestinians by Israel to justify their land grabs...

    2. Yes probably, but nearly all BB traffic is on the front page only. We can only fit so many articles on the front page, and they each deserve a chance for all to have a look. So most articles will be sitting in wait in draft for up to a week to be posted, unless they are very time sensitive.

Hope this clears it up some.

  5. They know not for certain the shots came from south of the Rio Bravo. They could have come from anywhere. The helicopter was not "shot down". The pilot heard a bullet or two impact the fuselage and decided to play it safe and go land somewhere.

I can only wonder if the firearm used was one of the Fast & Furious Fuckups.

    1. Fug 'em. It's called freedom of the press, and your agency will rise or fall on the value the reader places on your content.

  7. Mentioned this last week from Fox, was denounced as false by board moderator but feds all over this and Laredo PD & the Texas Rangers have an active investigation concerning this.

  8. There are ppl who want to put our active military on the border and after this it might not be a bad idea!

  9. too many comments coming in that are politically charged. right against left. you are wrong of course, I am republican and I agree this story was irresponsibly released as something it was not, not I also considered the source, figuring if it developed into something I would wait until a publication or agency I respected released info before feeding into it.

for now your political comments are cancelling each other out and have no place in this forum.

Being Judged by political alliance, my former friend, you have bottoms up the blue koolaid and lost your ability to think for yourself.

  10. They should shoot down border patrol helicopter instead of their own military helicopters. Damn borderpatrol are scums with fake motives just like everyone else involved in this drug war.

  13. It would take 2 seconds to surmise where the shots came from given the position of the aircraft when impacted and the trajectory of the impacts. The chances of there being uncertainty is small. Thank you BB for not posting the 10,,000 comments for an invasion of Mexico. Cooler heads will prevail in this incident.

    2. US Law enforcement has been reinforced by murderous war veterans, and they keep practicing their trade, murdering from far away with impunity.
--Mexicans get no impunity, guilty parties will be found, and fabricated to fit the crime to make US happy if american law enforcement gets shot at, or kidnapped tortured or murdered like kiki camarena, while no american operatives get prosecuted, no matter what their part on the crime...

  16. fred was the man back in the day.. he was THE PLUG for a lot of people.. from italian mobsters to black crime families.. from the west coast to the east coast.. a old family friend use to work for him.. not gonna spill any names but i will say dude is well known to law enforcement.... fred actually sent him to the Atlanta drug summit of 71 that peewee matthews arranged... the blacks/dominicans/puertoricans wanted to cut out the italians so they invited chicanos and mexicans from California to Texas and mexico to the summit.. long story short fred ended up supplying directly to the puertoricans/dominicans/blacks from L.A/Chicago/New York.. at 1st the italians were pissed but they eventually had to accept.. yes that's how powerful Fred was... and HE WAS THE PLUG TO ITALIANS... shit I'd go as far and say he had more power money and muscle then the italians.. the italians had the political connections but fred was on a whole other level in the dope business.

  17. A Republican? Wow you must be very wealthy grams otherwise it would not benefit you to be democrat. Rep. Cruz (R) texas. How can you agree with him. I can't believe this Chivis I know you are educated but I feel like you really don't know what us poor people feel like regardless of all the help you've done for the poor in mexico.
I'm confused, uneducated, and poor and there in lies the problem. Hmmmm what to do.

    1. You have fed into the trap of not thinking for yourself, Latinos once were expected to become two things at birth, catholic and democrat. Why should it be that way? I don't need to have a group of people or a news analysis to tell me how to feel and think. That in of its self is oppression.

Republican party is not a perfect fit for me, but far better than democrat,

For the record I am the granddaughter of immigrants. My father was a farm worker in Calif central valley, I marched with Chavez and belonged to La Raza. and I grew up in a humble 500 SqFt house. BUT I was raised to know what I became in life was up to me and my hard work, and if I failed it was not the fault of racism, (which of course exists) or a faulty government, (which IMO is still the best) but the fault of myself.

    2. Best comment I have seen in a long time. I also was willing to work to pay my way through higher (state) education. Education is there for everyone. I also became a republican. It was more to do with the oppression of the democratic party.

giving away free stuff and holding a race hostage by generational government aid, and a mantra of "you can't do, because of the government"...well that is racism at its finest. Holding down the brown.

Mexicans being left behind is because they gorge on the hype. Take a look at the most successful group of people in the US...the Asians. That is by design not accident. Just as oppression by non latinos is by design, and will remain until we as a people break the chains.

look into ourselves. Asian kids study because parents give them no other option.

Step up and take responsibility. It is no accident that Asians have the lowest out of wedlock birth rate at 11%

African American the highest at 68
      latinos 43

    3. True conservatism is not the corporate, neo-con, big business, government favors for special interests. It is fiercely independent, laissez faire, help your family and neighbor. If one would reflect on the traditional values of family, faith, hard work, and friends, then many who think that they (or someone they think they know) are democrats would more likely be conservatives (not republican as it appears to be). It's just so easy to draw out people with entitlements and free stuff and play on fears of blight and famine, so as to give traction to the democratic wheels.

    4. Anyone who belongs to a political party, or who thinks that belonging to a political party, has something to do with thinking for oneself, is unable to think rationally or critically, whether for himself/herself or as part of some group-think. The idea that the two-party system somehow implements any sort of representative democracy is not thinking. But then I doubt you have any real idea of the history of "democracy" in the US or of how the system works, even if you learned the mythology taught regarding US government, US history or "free-market" economics.

  19. I am an independent but do align with the repub platform of small gov and strong defense. I was the first in my family to cross over away from the oppressive dem party. now some 20 yrs later, almost half of my extended family has done the same. It is a matter of thinking for oneself and most people just follow the pied piper.
