Jalisco: CJNG used a RPG to bring down military helicopter

Lucio R. republished from Noricieros

A Castillo-like postilion is being considered for Jalisco

Monte Alejandro Rubido García, head of the National Security Committee (CNS), said the attack on a military helicopter shows the "firepower" of the organized crime group in Jalisco. (CJNG)

Rubido Garcia said "Operation Jalisco" will remain in the state to dismantle criminal groups operating in the state.

He noted that a list of priorities was established “at the beginning of President Peña’s administration, and work has been initiated.

However, Jalisco had not been placed in a position of priority, but after the May 1 violence in Jalisco, a "significant effort in the Mexican State has now been enforced in pursuit of the leader of CJNG Cartel Jalisco New Generation, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes (El Mencho).

He stressed that the attack on a military helicopter with a RPG rocket type shows the "firepower" of organized crime in the state.
The chief of the CNS stated that he is contemplating appointing a special commissioner for Jalisco, as was done in Michoacán (Alfredo Castillo)

Confusion over number of deaths and missing soldiers

Lucio: After being reported since Friday that in the violence 7 people were killed including 3 soldiers and one police, now the number has doubled over night from late Sunday to this morning, now the reported total is 15.  Of the 15 authorities claim most were cártel gunmen.

However today Rubio Garcia said the number is 5.

He also said that maybe the three missing soldiers are not missing after all and were killed in the helicopter attack/crash.  He added a disclaimer “but that is purely speculation on my part”.

    14. The best thing that ever happened to the Middle East is ISIS. Now these dumb camel jockeys can kill themselves off in the name of Allah. Just like the narcos are the best thing that has ever happened to Mexico. Maybe they wouldn't mind employing all the poor in Mexico so they would want to stay in Mexico. Or maybe kidnap a few thousand Central Americans while they are at it so they can't make into the US. Thanks Narcos from your neighbors up north.

    15. Actually the US is very well equipped for guerrilla warfare. The problem is when the enemy hides from you and don't want to fight what can you do. They hide weapons in schools and hospitals then hide their dirty asses in the hills. When American troops leave the area then they want to come out to fight. No one heard of ISIS when the US troops were in Iraq. All of a sudden when the US leaves they attack the peaceful areas. They kill peaceful non Muslims then rape women and children all in the name of Allah. Yeah ISIS are tough guys all right. The narcos are not a true direct threat to the US so they are safe. They are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for. ISIS is a different story.

Her family came to the US LEGALLY and that is what I expect from those who want to come to the US. Secondly, I don't live in a trailer FYI. Thirdly, I don't consider myself a racist. I find myself to be a much harsher critic of my race than othe races. I do have certain prejudices but don't we all. And 5:41pm what do you know about war other than playing Call of Duty on a occasion. The only asses that were handed to anyone was the enemies of the US. The US lost maybe 7k soldiers while the enemy lost damn near 1 million. Wow, we really got our asses handed to us. Whoopy fucking do!!! 6. It has just been reported that the remains of the three missing soldiers were found inside the downed Cobra helicopter burned beyond recognition. It seems to me that the authorities of Mexico have their hands full, if not met their match, with the CJNG. If anybody has seen the pictures/videos of CJNG gunmen, they appear well built and well fed -apart from well armed. They are especially well-trained as evidenced by their recent killings of gendarmeria/estatales in an engagement and ambush respectively. There not skinny teenage under fed/equipped/trained gunmen usually utilized by the Zetas. These CJNG sicarios have the appearance of well-trained former or even current military personnel/federal police. I will even go as far as saying that the federal authorities would hesitate in going all out against CJNG. Effectively using a rocket launcher to bring down a French made Cobra helicopter Cleary indicates that the gov. of Mexico has their hands full with el Mencho and the Cuinis.

  7. It was RPGs most likely, cjng do have connections in Europe and Asia. I feel bad for the corrupt mexican government. They got fuck real good like grand tourismo San Andreas. You can't pull this shit in US. Killing polices and military like nothing. Very little resistance coming from the mexican government and on top of that the regular citizens can not own a gun. Helpless people. Only criminals and police got guns and polices are nowhere to be found when shit happens.

    2. You are correct sir. Especially since the stinger would have blown the entire helicopter up and the soldiers would have been nothing but ashes. If the Somalis can afford RPG's then it would be more likely the CJNG could get their hands on a few.

  16. who ever shot down the helicopter knew exactly the best place to hit it and disable it, the Tail rotor, with out it it spins outta control , the Cougar Type is not made for combat more for search and rescue and personnel carrier, so it was not there to fight .

It was either an extremely lucky shot with an RPG ,but i seriously think it was more of a sniper shot with a very accurate and high powered, high caliber rifle and a well trained sniper, and the helicopter had to be in a very low altitude hoovering, like drooping troops on the ground wen it got hit, I seriously doubt it got hit wen it was in full flight, the only way to bring down an aircraft in full flight is a ManPad or SAM system

Just to bad they used them on soldiers just doing their duty, it's sad when soldiers die in the states name when that state deserves nothing, but maybe the end of the rope that is swings after being tied up in a tree. 1. It's not the US federal government it's the the state government that has created the biggest gun control threat to individual citizens. In Texas we have free reign when it comes to firearms with only sound suppression, SBR's and fully automatic weapons being the exceptions. But even then all you have to do is pay a fee for a tax stamp and fill out some paperwork. There hasn't been any gun laws enacted by the Feds that would take any of my guns from my household. The same guns I had with the Bush administration I have with the Obama administration. When Hiliary is elected in 2016 that's when everyone should actually get worried.
