In the Villa Purificacion confrontation there were 43 dead civilians not 8

Translated by Otis B Fly-Wheel for Borderland Beat from a Proceso Special Report

[ Subject Matter: Civilian deaths at Villa Purificacion during Government on CJNG fighting.
Recommendation: Read Lucio R post on the operation see link]

Family members of the disappeared from Operation Jalisco send a delegation to the PGR in Guadalajara
Reporters: Alberto Osorio M and Felipe Cobian R

Villa Purificacion, Ecuanduero, Apatzingan.... catalogued by the Federal Government and State as " confrontations" with organized criminals, massacres like those recently perpetrated in the locations of Jalisco and Michoacan, have similarities: dark and distorted information on the part of the Forces or implicated authorities, more grave use of excessive force every time, typified by crimes against humanity, and systematic impunity. In that respect to Villa Purificacion, Jalisco, a Proceso investigation into the unofficial civilian death toll at 43, double those reported by Government Officials. In all cases the question is the same: were they combatants or executed?

Today, Military troops fly over the area and patrol the streets, roads and breaches, also planting road blocks. The uniformed officers of the Fuerza Unica Rural (FUR) replaced the Municipal Police who were detained for alleged links with narco traffickers, who were then liberated on masse, one week later.

Angered by the arrogance of the soldiers and officers of the FUR, traders closed the doors of businesses and homes. A Helicopter from the PGR manoeuvres in the air, sets down to pick up a suspect who has been arrested, wounded or deceased, then rise again into the air.

The habitants of this village, almost planted in paradise for five centuries, they now live in anxiety, they have fear of other confrontations similar to Friday the 1st of May, when Sicarios of CJNG brought down an Army Cougar helicopter.

20 days after the confrontation, on the corner of City Hall, in the shade of a few trees in the main plaza, next to the Parish, a dozen people stand together. They are relatives of the dead and missing from Friday the 1st.

Some come from far Jalisco Municipalities; others are from neighboring villages. It took them days to arrive. Then after hours of fruitless waiting, they decided to return and for no reason gave them authority over the 43 bodies to the experts of the Forensic Medical Services (Semefo), which were then taken to the Jalisco institute of Forensic Sciences (IJCF) of Guadalajara.

They will be watching the results of Amparo 666/2015 filed by Lawyer Javier Diaz, promoted in the Fifth District Court of Criminal Matters to proceed with identification of the bodies, they say.

Without doubt, the Institute assures that it can only do the identifications once they have received authorisation from SEIDO. For now they cannot even deliver the DNA results to find out the names of the dead.

  1. The govt needs to corner more scum like this and send its vaccine to take care of the disease. More doses of M60 machine gun fire. Doubtful, very doubtful they were having a picnic or BBQ so at least potential mas murderers have been eliminated. There was no innocents there, pure cartel criminals.

  2. As if something will actually happen to the Federales, state police or anyone who participated in massacre. I feel for those individuals who expect justice to be served. A person has a better chance of hitting the lottery jackpot then the Mexican government admitting to any wrong doing.

  4. The Narcos brought this upon themselves. Assassination of police and military caused rage, pillage and robbing of la gente caused disgust and disinterest of how sicarios are dealt with.

Extra judicial justice is always a danger to civilians. Police become accustomed to self-regulation and -that- is when abuses can evade detection or prosecution. As bad a history that la policia have in Mexico things can get worse, much worse.

Ignoring or denial of the existence of extra-judicial actions of the police or armed forces by Los Pinos is inexcusable. This sets the stage for errors in judgement or mis-directed bias in police or military campaigns. Result is a major slaughter of innocent civilians, followed by hysterical public reaction followed by an avalanche of sanctions against the police and military. The sanctions will penalize the innocent as well as the guilty in Mexican law enforcement. The damage will be almost permanent. All this because Los Pinos chooses to ignore dealing with extra judicial actions before it gets out of hand.

Mexico urgently needs to address shortfalls in it's judicial and penal systems. Special sanctions need to be employed to dissuade ministerio publicos, los juez, and all levels of court officials from corruption. 20-years mandatory prison sentences would be appropriate. For organized crime, imprisonment for life without the possibility of amparo early release would do for starters.

I've stated this before. A team of perhaps a hundred polygraph experts, perhaps from Switzerland need to be well-paid and embedded at a large military installation. Every last juez, ministerio publico, senador, and other political figure all the way up to presidential candidates need to be vetted before they can continue their direction in public life. Figures who fail the test would be ineligible for life from serving the public. The empowerment for the action would take place under the umbrella of a constitucional amendment.

Such a plan would also be beneficial in the EUA as well. The results would be vast legions of unemployed former officials.

Yes this is puro sueños. But I am tired of playing the part of "The Prey"

How is it possible that our society has so many people who choose to just take. take, take, from others? How is it possible that our society has thousands of people willing to cut off peoples heads and chop them up into little pieces?

This has nothing to do with poverty or economics. I know dirt poor people who would never hurt anyone, or steal from anyone. There is something deeply wrong with these peoples minds. I really see no alternative at this point. we just have to get rid of them now, or it will only get worse as this mind disease spreads.

Corruption and injustice in EMBEDDED in Mexico so deep and widespread it is almost hopeless to try and correct it. When Mexico runs out of crude, Cuban tourism bankrupts Cancun, and rateros run tourists out of Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta, expect to see hundreds of thousands of indocumentos swarm northbound. The process has already started with a typhoon of burglaries swamping ex-pat enclaves. Many are abandoning ship after 10-20 years of living in Mexico. I should know - I am moving to Guatemala for safety.

    1. Some of you Idiots really don't get it. No one knows who fired at the cougar on May 1st. Allegedly there are dead bodies fron CJNG on May 1 and a camp post with condoms and Im guessing semen inside of it and hair at the campsite. Forensically you can take that evidence and see if any people of the 43 slain at Rancho Sol are related. You could then conclude that its a family business considering samples taken.
Ok now that those idiots that didn't get that understand. How does any one know whom the 43 slain are?

2 witnesses said they were CJNG?

Right. And those 3 that were "hiding" I'm sure they won't forced to give statements.
We can not conclude that it was CJNG. For this reason a proper forensic analysis and subpoenas for legal motions should take place.

How many white cops kill any minorities and get away with it?

Its one thing to be a racist and another to be a murder hiding behind a badge. Thats what it looks like 500 military forces did to 45 people.

What makes it worst I don't doubt if a P.M.C. was paid with corrupt government drug money for blood money
The government is not releasing any details. Why are bodies charred , knives in stomaches, bones broken?
People aren't siding with criminals but there is a due process of law. Even Terrorist that give up are given trials.

Dont say mexico is a fucked country when america is fueling the drug war and making their people more stupid and unhealthy by cutting out farmers introducing chemicle substances as cures when natrual remedies are available. Censoring the media to bias. Genetically modified plants and animals are being ingested. Politicians are beating their wifes and smoking dope and making your laws. So while mexico has big problems they are atleast bald face lies. In america we have plenty to fix. America doesn't hide with it dumps in our minds and enviorments. Gotta love the stars and stripes!
