Knights Templar abduct Brother-in-law of Dr Mireles

Chivis Martinez for Borderland Beat
Autodefensa leader, Dr. Mireles has spoken of the abductions of family members occurring prior to his involvement with the autodefensas movement.  It is one of the reasons he became involved.    The majority of the victims  were released,  after ransom paid, including the Doctor who was kidnapped one evening as he left his clinic.

On Tuesday September 9th  Juan Carlos Marín, the brother-in-law of of José Manuel Mireles Valverde, was abducted, when members  of  the Caballeros Templarios Cartel, burst into the home of  Patricia Mireles, the  sister of Dr Mireles.

In an interview with Carmen Aristegui, Talía Vasquez, the  attorney of the autodefensa leader, reported that armed members of the Templarios,  entered the Ciudad Hidalgo home of  Patricia Mireles, the younger sister of Mireles , restrained her by tying her up  and forcefully took her husband, fleeing in the family vehicle.

Talia Vázquez denounced the forced disappearance of her clients, brother-in-law  as part of the serious crisis of insecurity in Michoacán, she further stated that notice was given to the governor Salvador Jara and anti-kidnapping unit.

However, until today the broadcast media was avoided to protect the victim.

This is the third time the brother-in-law  of José Manuel Mireles is deprived of his liberty, and the kidnappers were in contact with the family and asked for a ransom of five million pesos which is around 375k USD.  . Meanwhile the anti-kidnapping unit suggested that the family not pay the money.

While  at the home of Patricia Mireles,  the Templarios kidnappers  declared  they would return.

The kidnapping happened a day after that the Templarios leader known as "La Tuta", challenged the government of the President Enrique Peña Nieto, in announcing his imminent return to Michoacán, more forcefully than before.

  6. I think its time to bring in expert long range marksmen and clean the countryside . The right kind of shooters with the right mind would never be seen or caught . First take the head of the snake and then chop him up . The American snipers in the middle east strike more fear in the heart of the enemy.
After the cleansing law and order could be established.
These kind of men exist out there . The real ones are not because they want to be , it is because they are . Those idiots out there aren't true warriors . They are cowards and would either buckle in real combat or be killed in a drug induced bout of courage . A righteous warrior is far better and more effective than a damned old criminal junkie .
Monuments will stand forever for a righteous man who fell a hero . These criminals that die with all their loot and their cronies erect these monuments will be short lived. These monuments will never stand. The good people of Mexico will prevail against the bad.
You Mexicans cannot let Mexico fall .

  14. Fuerzas Rurales, is too much of a name for the chapulin AD who turned out to be corrupt narco associates, after all we argued here about the spelling and their T shirts.
In the hardvard educated minds of pena nieto's cabinet they are a bunch of pumpkinseed mexican hillbillies, so i write juersaz ruralez to illustrate the rancheriada epn and associate foreign educated sicarios are playing on us, the ruralez do not deserve correct orthography, capitals or prenunciation...
--up to now, Dr Mireles and the real AD deserve all the capitals, all the honors and all the respect, no matter the prophets of negativity at 10:56 pm...

  19. I live in Mexico and the addiction problem is huge. I am talking a lot of users. They just sell the drugs for a lot less. There were about 12 construction workers taking a break on the vacant lot beside my house in Chihuahua. They were all smoking weed. The dealers here on the street are called puchero's. You can buy drugs from taxi drivers and just about anywhere. The drug dealers in some areas make home deliveries with impunity. So get Mexico and the USA to stop using drugs at the same time. Set an example for the USA and show how easy it can be done. Lead by example. The street dealers are also killing each other here for local market. Just like the Blacks in the USA. So do not kid yourself in thinking that the USA is the cause of the problem. With no education you see more people looking to crime. They sell more of everything to the USA. If Mexican incomes go up, so will the price of the drugs here. When I go to Costo here you see people in the check out lines with a shopping cart and two to three small things. In the USA much further North of the border the shopping carts are full of goods. Same problem in both countries as far as drugs are concerned. Just more people and money in the USA. They just do not keep records and a lot of the people that they catch doing drugs here in Mexico pay money to not go to jail. That does not work in the USA.

You need to do something about your trolling addiction.

  22. 8:36 La malinche died, but la pocahontas lives on, defending the US 24/7... get out of here pinchi bugaboo!
8:03 after 200 hundred years of friendship, the much exploited mexican banana republic does not have education, health care, social services, police or military worth calling that, the grameros must sell their pay-in species, if they want to have money for the maruchan, and they have to kill each other for the table scraps, that is all the owners of the drug trade leave for them mexican maruchaneros, their bosses are too busy making deposits on the banks, who will report and deliver the capos money to the US government, read the mexican government expropriated about 11 billions from amado carrillo fuentes, but i doubt the mexican government has any report on where the money went, and that was only half of it...

  23. I was commenting on the person above that said as long as people in the USA are using drugs there will be cartels. You think that if no one in the USA the cartels would disappear? Quit blaming the use of the drugs in the USA on the problems here in Mexico. They do more than just sell drugs here in Mexico you know. Much of the violence against the innocent people is not all because of drugs. I just read on Facebook that the trafficking of organs which are being harvested from children is up. Kidnappings are off the charts. Extortion is off the charts. Car, oil and mineral theft is huge here. Human smuggling is huge here. So you think the drug use causes bad and under educated people to kill each other? Get Mexico and it's government to quit supporting drug dealers and take them out. If the drugs do not cross you cannot blame it on the buyers. Read the post by 12:30. He knows what it will take. You will never eliminate drugs from anywhere dummies. Like you could not stop people from drinking alcohol.

I live here and I am for the people of Mexico. I am behind Mireles. But when someone blames the buyer for mass murdrers you are not looking deep enough into what the problem truly is.

  24. The problemo is, pena nieto does not get paid nor is he expected to do much more than keep the plantation running and make sure nobody steals it from its rightful owners, foreign miners of te mexican resources who leave nothing good behind every dat they are at it, except for death murder and mayhem...
And now drug addictswho must be earning a lot of money, $4.00 dollars a day is a lot of money if you can have the job, just enoug to keep taking crap next day, you can't disengage one from the other, we are bound to each other, the US exploits all of their friends, and their friends get always exploited

  25. Many of the foreign investors in silver of Mexico have closed down many of the mines. In one small pueblo in Northern Chihuahua over 200 Mexican citizens lost their jobs. The experienced drillers were making $200 plus a day. Other less skilled miners were making about $100 a day. Compare that to the Mexican companies in Santa Eulalia District and other areas like Santa Barbara and San Francisco del Oro. Very hard work for low wages in Mexican mines owned by nationals. With all the greed in the government they recently raised the tax to amounts where foreign investors had to shut down many of the lower producing mines. They could not turn a profit.

Also foreign investors are held to stricter enforcement of environmental laws than the Mexican Mining companies. I have seen the the regulations that the foreign companies have had to comply with.

Before the new and over the top taxes the government was already making good money for doing nothing. You do not read about it, but many people lost high paying jobs here. Then they have to deal with local people that do not complain until after the silver is found. Then they too find reasons to extort the companies as they want a share. I have seen it happen.

It was Groupo Mexico that just devastated a some pueblos with toxic spills. Name some of the US companies in Mexico that have not been following Mexican laws. Just look at the landscape and the streets here in Mexico and you will see that a clean country and environment is not part of the culture. Americans driving in Mexico do not just throw their trash out of the window of their cars like the Mexican citizens.

Mexicans were complaining about the Mennonites here in Chihuahua about the use of ground water on their farms. You need to go to some of these farms in the Mennonite communities. The streets are flawless, the crops are in rows that are incredible. The corn and other products are taller, bigger and of better quality. You would think these people are made up of the most anal people in the world. They have the best equipment that uses the least amount of water to get it direct to the roots of the plants.

Then you see the Mexican farms just outside of these communities and they look amateurish in comparison to the Mennonite communities. They waste a lot of water to produce inferior crops. You have to see it to know it. They complain about the Mennonite communities and their farms and their use of water. Saying they waste it. They are jealous and they want what the Mennonites have done. Always complaining , but not willing to do the same and put in the same amount of work. Take a drive to the Mennonite community of Buenaventura just North and a little West of Chihuahua. It is cleaner and better kept than even the cities in the USA. Yet the Mexican farmers complain. Foreigners of German, Chinese and order nationalities have done great things in Mexico. They are assets to the community and provide jobs for the communities.

  26. On my rant above. I read about the mining companies like the Canadian companies that use cyanide to separate out the gold. It is bad. But 90% of the gold in the world is removed using this process. So why just pick on Canadian companies. I am not Canadian or in the mining business by the way. Even the Mexican companies use cyanide. Mexico is the ones who approve the permits. Mining and Mexico's natural resources are huge money for Mexico and Mexican citizens. So the laws need to be changed and use better regulation. So if you cut out the mining you will create a huge cash cow of jobs and revenue for the government. It goes beyond just complaining. Because if you attack one thing, you will hear something different from the people that live in these communities. Many of the communities depend totally on mining and have for many, many years. People complain about the oil industry and it's impact on the environment. Best option is fewer people in the world, creating less demand on resources.

    2. Canadian companies are not reporting much of the gold they take. They ship tonnes of gold filled dirt and rocks. Ai wouldn't be surprised if they shipped drugs to vanada and beyond though these means.

  31. In my post at 9.27 I need to reword a sentence. I am sure the smart people already knew my intent. But just in case. Here is how it should have read.

So if you cut out the mining you will cut out a huge cash cow of jobs for the people and revenue for the government.

  32. Jelipe güey, how about that?
Drug trafficking organizations may have a lives of their own now, but the CIA, its nazi fugitives like klaus barbie, and his german pharmaceuticals corporations, started moving drugs big time in the sixties when felix ismael rodriguez went to bolivia to kill che guevara for fidel and started collecting friends for the drug trafficking from bolivia, now select cartels move it, and win some and lose some, but the US and england keep owning drug trafficking worldwide, their part consists of taking the lion's share of the money and laundering it and reinvesting all of it in getting countries in debt and buying their infrastructure and industries to offshore to communist slave labor paradise, china. Believe it or not, cartels are not the worst thing in the world, puppeteering puppetmasters are, by the way, snipping may not be real manly, for some, but drone killing looks even less manly to others, expensive and unproductive, or counterproductive to others...
I am sure there are many patriots in the US who would go to fight isis for the hell of it, for free, maybe some insurance, just in case, i would send 5 times deferred dick cheney, oliver north, bill o'reilly, pimples in the "ass ditto" rush limbaugh, john mccain, and many other chickenhawk heros, they would show isis their place, maybe mercenary soldiers of fortune halliburton/blackwater would win a war there in one week if they did not have the incentive to keep the war going for ten years or more, because of the $$$$, no matter the american casualties; as soon as there is no economic incentive, nobody wants part of it, that is the burden of the US, american vultures looking for money under the wings of their beloved country, all while pretending to be oh so sainctly, and blaming the poor for their poverty and for having too many children so irresponsibly, when there are no health, education or future for them, that is why the high and mitghy and educated countries try to manage the world's population, by depopulation or genocide, and birth control...
