"El Pikas" executed in La Paz-Larry Hernandez sang his corrido

Borderland Beat posted by siskiyoukid

At Maguey and Bordo Streets in the La Paz neighborhood Santa Rita-Indeco was the lifeless body of José Federico Gaxiola Osuna, a 39 year old native of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, who was hit by blasts from high powered rifles this Wednesday evening. He was also known as El Pikas.

The authorities already cordoned off the area surrounding the Guillermo Valle Gomez school. José Federico Gaxiola Osuna, who was driving a red Renault with Baja California plates was intercepted at Maguey Street where he was unable to escape from his pursuers, falling mortally wounded when he exited  his car.

It was speculated that he may have been involved in other violent events of La Paz, in which a dozen murders have transpired in the past 2 weeks.

In fact, the singer Larry Hernández is the composer of one his corridos called "El Pikas', in which he mentioned his name as Federico.

"Always firm with the goal, he never put down his the hands, was sailing to salary, did very little work, but that yes, to my family he would never let them down."

In El Aval, Sinaloa  the man is well known , they nicknamed him the cabezon and Federico is the name,

"the click says El Pikas and in Mazatlan he answers them,"says part of the words of the corrido by singer  Larry Hernández.

Larry Hernandez - "El Pikas" Lyrics Translated
Always firm with his goal, he never took down his hands
He’d go around at leisure (not sure of the implication) –There was very little work
Although, indeed, he never let my family down

He’s very well known in Abal, Sinaloa
He nicknamed “el cabezon” (large headed), his first name Federico
The click(gang) calls him “el picas” and he answers to that in Mazatlán

The rough and turbulent waters, the rising and lowering tides
A boat is indispensable, otherwise work stalls
Support from 2 and my brother, (nick)named Pancho Loco

The sun rises for all, I always knew that since young
Whether it’s much or too few, the goal is to produce
My signature is my word – my guys know that

A (musical) band to get happy, a good wine for drinking
And my buddy, El Coyote, sings songs and corridos
That Pancho Loco would like, those were his favorites

Pancho Loco you’ve left us, who had not an ounce of crazy
You remained in Guasave – couldn’t make it into Obregon
Eric, Picas and Cris – we’re all very sad.
Big Thanks to the reader who translated the corrido

It can be about a horse or a dog or about a stupid car. It's ridiculous really. Wrote a song about it...goes like this...

nicknamed him the cabezon and federico is the name,
the clicka you design the pikes and mazatlan responds.

Turbid and whitewater high tide and low,
An indispensable lever but the business plan,
Support pancho loco 2 and my brother's name.

The sun shines for everyone always knew of plebs
There is much that is little the thing is generated,
MY Word is my signature that I know my plebes.

And my friend the coyote singing songs and corridos,
Pancho loco liked that they were his favorite.

The british show their culture and education in the education they gave their own plantation minders and overseers.
Amerikkka, on the other hand, being the only country that went into decadence from their revolution without bothering about culture, reflects the results in their own ignorant plantation minders, they just take and take and take.
From killing all the buffaloes and the indians they could, to enslaving all the blacks they could and stealing all they could from latin america and everyone else, to enslaving their own brethren into drug addiction to pick their pockets, america's great statesmen just reflect the worst of england's very cultured greed, and denial, and their mexican and latin american disciples reflect the worst of american stupidity and greed, that no one can deny, as time goes by...
Too many mexican politicians and cabinet members have been "educated" in harvard and the likes, to conduct the business of ministering of the plantation-banana republic of mexico...
