The second District Court Federal criminal process based in Jalisco, ordered the release of Martín Alejandro Beltrán Coronel or Martín Beltrán with the alias "El Águila" for violation of the principle of presumption of innocence and the fundamental right of inviolability of the domicile. The acquittal ruling in favor of the nephew of Ignacio Coronel Villareal  on charges of organized crime.

Officials earlier portrayed him as Coronel's successor.

The Federal Judiciary Council said late Wednesday the court had acquitted the nephew and four other co-defendants because of procedural violations in the case.

Martin Beltran Coronel had been charged with organized crime and the other four faced money laundering charges.

The council said that soldiers who detained the five arrested  in May 2011 had entered a home without a search warrant. It also said that protected witnesses had improperly identified the five after being shown photo albums of potential suspects.

Beltran Coronel was arrested 10 months after the death of his uncle, Nacho Coronel, in a subdivision in Zapopan, Jalisco (July 2010). He was accused of assuming the operations of his uncles organization and was identified as one of 4 top leaders of the Sinaloa Cartel, at the same level as Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada and Juan José Esparragoza alias “El Azul”.

Martín Beltrán maintained control of the criminal group known as the Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación, which formed part of the criminal organization of Ignacio "Nacho" Coronel..

He was involved in the transfer of drugs bought in Central and South America and shipped toward the United States, in operations through the route of the Pacific, and  he maintained his center of operations in Jalisco and Colima. In these actions Martín Beltran was in collaboration with his cousin José Ángel Carrasco Coronel, whom was nicknamed "El Changel".

On July 29, 2010 elements of the national defense Secretariat (Sedena) gunned down Ignacio "Nacho" Coronel Villarreal  at his home located at Paseo de los Parques 1464, in Zapopan, Jalisco. According to reports provided by the authorities, 12 of the 13 bullets that struck the criminal hit the left side of his body,  8 of them at the top, in the area of the heart. The army said that they were called to his mansion after an anonymous complaint and fired in self defense, after Coronel had killed a soldier with a shot from the inside of his bedroom.  (click image to enlarge)

  2. Well there has certainly been some money changing hands here. Oh how the mexican judges will hate it , when with the new legal system everything will have to be conducted under the gaze of the public. I hope the judge that let this psychopath go , gets exactly what he/she deserves.

  4. Once again the wonderful Mexican justice system releases 5 hardened criminals, killers among other things to wreak havoc on the innocent population again. The innocents are locked away while the cartel scumbags are released to society. These judges should be prosecuted for malfeasance disbarred and thrown in prison to finish the original sentence of the pieces of shit they release.

  6. Mann. Thats just absurd!!!! since when damn criminals have more rights than non criminals? a search warrant to alert them so they can escape/hide evidence? The USA should do something about this. Since mexican INCOMPETENT IDIOTS can't!! all these son of bitches are getting released just like that and apparently nobody is doing anything to stop it!!!! THERE GOES IMPUNITY AGAIN. All those mexican drug cartel snakes are really turning into a menace for everybody in this world & that includes the USA!!! AND I AM NOT JOKING ABOUT THIS YOU'LL SEE THE RESULTS IF NOBODY DOES NOTHING TO STOP IT the US could end up as mexico or perhaps worst. JUST IMAGINE THIS THEY ALLREADY COME AND GO FROM CALIFORNIA, ARIZONA, LAS VEGAS NEVADA, TEXAS AND EVEN FLORIDA at any given time they go to those states like if it was mexico they are traveling to SOMETIMES IN PRIVATE PLANES/JETS (liutenants/bosses/associates) OR COMERCIAL AIRLINES for their sicarios with fake identity they all like using fake identity even the top ones trying to pass as legitimate business persons or something else perhaps like a foreign gov employee it's not the first time they do that to not get caught by the law. Amado carrillo did it when he used to crossed the texas borders.. And he wasn't the first nor last doing it. Now what does that mean!?.. SOME PEOPLE ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB RIGHT DAMN IT!!!!!

Generally I would just tell you to shut up with all those kind of ideas but considering the 'Chapo snitched' guy was right I don't know. So I will just ask why you think this?

    ReplyDelete
  13. why do they keep printing that CJNG was an off-shoot of Nacho Coronel when everybody now knows it was formed from the Milenio Cartel which operated in Michoacan, Jalisco, and Colima and were allied with the Tijuana Cartel to pass drugs through Tijuana and Mexicali. When El Lobo was caught they tried to put El Mencho as head but it was resisted by other members so they split off on their own and formed CJNG and struck an alliance with CDS.

  14. There have always been the big professional drug traffickers, and the small timers, who usually were caught and put in prison...
But the los zetas hiring tamaleros, taxistas, paleteros lavacarros and the likes to be the star grameros and defend their pedestrian aspirinations fucked it all up, effectively socializing being sicarios and to the rascuachization of the glamorous trade.
Maybe the beltranes-guzmanes-coroneles-esparragozos-salinas de gortari juniors-arelanoses, etc etc etc, will get together and try to work in peace, and leave the people alone,
--but the grameros never will, the prison style of los tejas, la eMe, el kkk, arians, mongols, barrios, blast, the mexican police and military, youname it, can't leave alone their only source of income, grams of shit...enforced...

Thought CDS and CJNG were on the outs ? CJNG has grown bigger and better under Mencho who must be a capable man like a lot of the bosses so cant see anyone supplanting Mencho
