La Barbie Loses His Fight Against Extradition

Borderland Beat

Mexican authorities are in a position to deliver the  drug trafficker to the U.S.
Judges of the First Collegiate Court in Criminal Matters, in the State of Mexico, confirmed the decision of a judge denying relief to alleged drug trafficker Edgar Valdez Villarreal, aka "La Barbie" against his international extradition which was authorized in 2011.
The court upheld, on review, the judgment of the Third District Court of Amparo, issued on  September 17th  2013..

Valdez,  born in Laredo, Texas, in 1973, sought to fight  the agreement by which the Mexican government granted his international extradition to the United States on January 2011, however the judge and the judges found no constitutional violations as claimed by Valdez' filings.
The judgment of judicial review results, makes it now possible, for national authorities to deliver Valdez,   to the Federal District Court of Louisiana where he is charged with conspiracy and trafficking  of more than five kilograms of cocaine.
Edgar Valdez Villarreal was arrested in August 2010 noted as one of the main operators cartel Beltran Leyva Organization  and is currently being held at the Federal Center for Social Rehabilitation (Cefereso) No. 1 "Altiplano", in the State of Mexico.

  2. Welcome home Barbie. It's been a minute since you were in the U.S. The legacy you left in Mexico will become a stuff off legends. An infamous legend I might add that saw you become a part of the social ill of violence to your host nation. From a border drug trafficker to a war with CDG/Zetas. From becoming a member of the notorious BLO, who's late leader Arturo BL many feel you gave up, to briefly leading a cartel you formed based out of Acapulco. To partying with famous celebrities. Pretty good for a kid out of Laredo, Tx. nicknamed after a girls toy doll who donned the shoulder pads for his high school in Texas national pastime football. Or pretty bad. Welcome home Barbie. Your new home in the U.S.FBOP awaits you.

  3. I hope he doesn't get a deal that allows his release before he's 60, but I'm sure that's what will happen. Valdez will debrief and give the DEA old info no longer relevant, and pull 20 years or less. He could be hosting a talk show, like former Nixon "plumber" G. Gordon Liddy, when he's in his 50's.

  9. This is awesome news! As in Mexico he would have just been "served" time and community service; or just released on lack of evidence. Another reality is that he would have bought his freedom and fled back to the US, Canada or Europe. You name it, there is no limit for the corrupt in Mexico

  11. in mexico la barbie can't talk, but he can have a good life even in jail, with women visiting and all, but he is at risk of getting killed all the time.
onthe US, he is safe, but no women will be available for him, on the other hand, he can get out very soon since he has mostly no crimes pending on US soil, his grandfather Rodolfo Valdes Osuna El Gitano can be proud of la barbie, a true blue blood of the criminal class in mexico, white, pretty and american honky looking, it's a pity that football and an all american education could not make a better person out of him, but we have seen worse people get away with murder in the US, a personal experience is a guy that killed three mexicans and got out in 10 years, after he went looking for them; and george zimmerman who has the us justice system by the ying-yangs and apologizing to his ass after killing un-armed teenager trayvon martin, i hope when la barbie gets to the US he can reaffirm his charges that GENARO GARCIA LUNA the ex SSP of mexico and newest US millionaire mexican entrepreneur/businessman, with business in florida (?)
and more (?) where the most famous of the most famous drug traffickers have operated for a long while, among tem FELIX ISMAEL "El Gato" RODRIGUEZ, aka ivan gomez aka max gomez, accused of ordering the kidnapping, torture and murder of kiki camarena, on whose behalf the cia has infiltrated the dea to make them shut the fuck up about the cia's drug trafficking business and involvement on genocide all over the world as in latin-america.
fidel castro has been accused of killing half of the cuban population with the help of el che,in his own country, to save his revolution; felix rodriguez IS in fact guilty of many many more murders in other people's countries he has tried to save from a comunism he and his handlers introduced and financed in the first place all over south-america and then went on to try and solve only to mask their own drug trafficking, which only got worse and worse, the only people that really benefitted from all the rigmarole, are now appearing all over AMERICA the banana continent to reap the fruits of their re-colonization campaign, with more evil cubans helping the cause, like that pinche cubano ANGUSTIROSTRI ted cruz, the next president of the uniteld states of america...(in his dreams). lets hope la barbie comes to the US and talks, and i'm sure he won't be in prison for long and he will sell a lot of books of course, i am not so sure about genaro garcia luna's future...
