Captured "Menchito" Son of El Mencho Leader of CJNG

Borderland Beat

At Dawn, in  Zapopan,Jalisco,(Guadalajara Metropolitan Area) the Army captured,  Rubén Oseguera González, "El Menchito" or "El Junior," son of the premier leader of the Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG), Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes "El Mencho".
The Attorney General of Jalisco reported, that elements of the army carried out a search in farms of  fraccionamiento Villa Universidad in Zapopan
Backed by a helicopter, dozens of soldiers sealed streets and raided properties in the Zapopan section of Guadalajara, a city of 4.4 million people in western Mexico.

It was then, in response to the operation, the criminal group attempted  to impede the arrest ,  by setting fire to three vehicles forming a blockade  at various points in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara.
In his account twitter Prosecutor, Luis Carlos Nájera said that a code red was implemented in the city,  however urged the population to remain calm.
An official, who asked not to be identified, identified the suspect is considered the group's number two leader..

The cartel operates in the state of Jalisco, of which Guadalajara is the capital.

Jalisco is the neighboring state of Michoacán, where a violent conflict between Caballeros Templarios and CJNG is ongoing.

  2. He will be released right away. Or the story will be swept under the rug by the media and he will be considered wanted by the authorities. They've captured Mencho and el Azul a couple of times already.

  3. Jalisco has autodefensas that have successfully repelled crime for many decades :) obviously, they need more

  9. Wasn't Mencho already captured before? I know this is his son but wasn't Mencho already captured before a couple of times or was it el "88"? Who's left in the leadership structure? Also, last question. Is the CJNG still under Chapo's influence or is it an independent cartel that just has alliances with the Sinaloa Cartel? I still trying to figure out how relevent they are in the drug trafficking business.

  10. Tit-for-Tat. One side makes a strike, the other side counters a few days later.

  11. Cjng wasnt never a armed wing for cds. They were always their own cartel. Chapo just sponsored them in a way by giving them guns money and plazas. Cjng has always been allied with cds why do you think there was never a war in jalisco. Chapos son alfredo handles his dads operations in jalisco since ivan wasnt that smart for it. Do you really think cds will go to war with cjng knowing that most of the cds leaders families live in jalisco. Cmon people you cant be that dumb.

    1. Well, they can open The Lecumberri Castle Prison any time, it's an old mexican prison, it was closed in the late 50's or early 60's, it's now a museum, I remember people talking about it, only compared to the Russian prison in Siberia back in the times of Nikita Krushev.

  19. It turns out litte Menchito is a crybaby like El Tio. He was found hiding by the cops. Here is a quote from Milinio, " “Cuando tenían acorralada a esta persona le dijeron ‘échese al piso, manos en la espalda’ y se escuchó que esta persona dijo ‘sí, ya me rindo’ no los golpearon en ningún momento”, narró una de las vecinas del lugar. 29. 2:44 there is a big difference between cjng and the ct,no jalisco farmers have had to organize to fight drug traffickers, terroristas, kidnapping extortionist organizations, cjng are just drug traffickers, they may fuck up rivals, but they are not widely known for messing with the people like the ct and their former friends los zetas, they are notorious for the contempt and disregard for farmers and public in general, like the soldiers and federal, state and municipal police organizations, always kissing the boss ass, and always abusing the people...

Jalisco has some of the longest standing autodefensas groups in Mexico. They successfully drove out organized crime and new groups have organized to fight cjng and have called on Michoacán Autodefensas to guide them.
