Body Missing: DNA was Needed to Confirm Macho Prieto Death

Borderland Beat
Here we go again...another case of the body snatchers

Reforma (foto at left Proceso)
A operational head of the Sinaloa Cartel was killed in the confrontation recorded yesterday in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, but his body is missing, says sources of the federal government.
Gonzalo Inzunza Inzunza, alias "El Macho Prieto" is one of 122 most wanted in the EPN administration. Sources revealed that
the individual's body is not in the possession of  the authorities, however, were able to obtain blood samples, that were analyzed by experts to confirm the identity.
"There is a 99 percent certainty that this is Inzunza” says authorities.  "El Macho Prieto", who was regional leader Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, was killed along with four other members of his criminal structure in the middle of a shootout that lasted more than four hours.
Note Chivis:   It ties into yesterdays rumors of doctors being taken at gunpoint and then released.  Mos likely from the hospital, they were hostages to facilitate the body snatching.

Authorities of the federal Government mentioned that due to the fact that a group of gunmen took the body of Gonzalo Inzunza Inzunza, identified by the authorities as head of the plaza in Sonora for the Sinaloa cartel, whose head is Joaquin Guzman Loera, alias "El Chapo" and chief of bodyguards for Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, samples of DNA where the operation took place will be analyzed to determine if they match that of the alleged criminal.

During a meeting with the media, National Security Commissioner Manuel Mondragón y Kalb announced that accomplices of the kingpin Gonzalo Inzunza Inzunza, known as "El Macho Prieto", took the corpse.

According to sources of the Federal Police (PF),an operation was implemented in coordination with the Secretaries of the Navy (Semar) and national defense (Sedena) for authorities to detain the alleged capo.

The sources mentioned that during the confrontation in the area of Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, a video was recorded, in which you hear the voice of people who say "I missed you, I failed you, making mention of the death of Inzunza Inzunza

However, upon making an inspection of the area to corroborate that the so-called plaza chief of the Sinaloa cartel in Mexican and chief bodyguard of El Mayo Zambada, not a trace of the body was found.

The authorities mentioned that at the place they only found the bodies of four people who took part in the clash, as well as firearms.

The federal official said that one of the owners of a resort located on the coast of Sonora was Inzunza Inzunza and was responsible for the transfer of drugs in the region, as well as "operational head" of "El Chapo" Guzman. He also revealed that during the clash recorded this morning criminals used rifles .60 caliber rifles that are larger than the Barrett .50 caliber rifle, which use antiaircraft ammunition.

I am uncertain that I am posting the correct weapons...I apologize in advance.  However, cartels are rapidly advancing to powerful weapons only seen in war conflicts.

  6. So what now? His body is gone what can you do then. Can't prove that it's him then. He owned the condo complex or was just a resident there. That's a private condo complex not a resort people actually live there and that's their full time home. I've stayed there before very nice, all of rocky point is nice and usually a quite town. Hope this doesn't scare people away from there because that's what that beach town thrives on tourists.

    (B) Cover up and the guy real guy is still alive ( There should have been plenty of blood body secretions in both cases to extract DNA)

    (C) Adolph Hitler style no body ? Conspiracy/ Cover up.

yes I was driven crazy last night. Trying to keep up with the 300 comments that came through and breaking news.

Sorry, but we could not post all the comments. we had over 40,000 views on the one MP post alone.

About MP being killed. I believed that Nazario was killed, I believed in Lazca's death, later confirmed by "40"...but this one I say 50/50.

If the family does not come out and dispute his death, I would say he is dead. But even that is not an absolute.

CSI can determine death by the amount of blood left at a scene. In the states a murder can take place leaving volumes of blood at a death scene but the body missing and never found. They can estimate how much blood was lost to a point of survival being impossible. Murder cases have hinged on this information when a body is never found.

In this case, the kidnapping of the doctors could have been to attempt to save his life, but I doubt if the doctors would have been released in that case.

    1. let say the doctors where kidnapped to take care of him. he should be fine or else those doctors would of being dead to for not saving his life

  30. Barrett .50 do not use "anti aircraft ammunition". I have one. All ammunition can be "antiaircraft" ammunition. The only other would be the depleted uranium rounds, that the A-10 Warthog shoots, and those are for going through tanks and don't fit in any gun but that one. For everyones information, ALL guns are meant to kill, so stop with the "assault" weapon nonsense, and the "Oh my god it's a semi automatic!" bullshit. %90 of the guns out there are semi auto, including shotguns and most pistols. And all ammo will kill, and hollow points are a better round for home defense because they won't go through walls as easy.
The .60 cal you have in video, I have shot. I prefer my Barrett. And by the way, Barrett is just a brand name, that makes other rifles besides .50 caliber.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Your Barret will never have the fire ratio of an M60, the .50 cal round only has more range and knocking punch. With the .50 cal you can only fire about 20 rounds per minute and the M60 which is belt fed has a 2500 rounds per minute ratio.

  38. Chivis - I wentand took a look at specialized sniper rifles. There is no standard 60-cal sniper system in commercial production that I can find. The Barret rifles are 50-cal. Some enthusiasts may have tried experimental 60-cal rifles, but it is unlikely these would get into the hands of the sicarios. Most likely CDS had 50-cal, if one was present at the battle where MP died. MP's body disappeared ... Lazcano's body disappeared. I don't think it is cartel members taking the bodies - more likely federal forces for ID purposes (proper identification to relatives takes time). P, CA

    3. I'm 12:46. FYI the M60 uses a 7.62x51 round, it's a belt fed machine gun and the belt can be fed from both sides, the belt has 200 rounds but you must change the barrel after firing about 100 rounds, because it's going to get red hot and loose accuracy, and weights 24 lbs. The machine gun team is two soldiers the gunner and assistant gunner, and both must carry the weapon, two extra barrels, tripod, cleaning kit and about 800 rounds of ammunition.

  49. Maybe some confusion with 20 mm

The M60 is 7.62 mm or .30 cal not .60 cal It was Basically copied and changed some from the German MG42 of WWII 7.92 mm . Still being used as the Rheinmetall MG3 7.62 . Various countries have copied it. They were even made in Yugoslavia during the war under German occupation and kept on being produced for years later after the war.
Does anyone remember the photo of "Los Mata Zetas" ?
It seriously looked as if they had a WWII German MG34 in 7.92 mm in the picture.
Why they would use something in 7.92 mm ? ammunition and links hard as hell to find in Mexico is beyond reason. Their photo looked like a publicity stunt anyway.
Many Central American countries ended up with surplus MG34 after WWII .
    And later the M60 7.62mm

Check with Doktor Bunker there maybe some confusion with 20mm
    a metric sae issue ?

You could shoot well aimed bursts from behind a low wall and be completely safe from direct fire. The MG34 can be seen in the opening beach scene of, Saving Private Ryan. I saw the movie in a German theater during that same training mission. Awkward!

The 20MM Anzio it's an old sniper rifle, the round is 2.8 times bigger than the .50 cal, and it's maximum effective range is about 4000 yards with a maximum range of 7000 yards, it was widely used in Uganda back in 76, by the multinational UN troops during the coup to expel Idi Amin Dada from power. 51. Many jackasses with a grand or two to spend wants a single shot 50 cal. sniper rifle; few can effectively use it as such. The cartels.probably don't get many 50 cal machine guns though I know of a case where one was attempted to be bought in the U.S. for illegal export to Mexico. Several dudes were busted in the process of doing so. The MG version has to be mounted to a platform or on a heavy tripod. Most cartels probably don't get all of the exotic 50 cal rounds like the explosive or sabot rounds. This caliber is scary. The M-60 has a much smaller round. In the machine gun version of each of these weapons they can sustain aprox. 400 to 600 rounds per minute. The MG versions intended for 'area targets' and are crew served weapons. A three man crew consists of a Machine Gunner (MG), an Assistant Gunner (AG) and an Ammo Bearer (AB). Video games list a Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) as an individual weapon. If it was, then every man in an infantry squad would carry one. The result would be like a swarm of bees chewing up every thing in sight at a rapid rate. LOL. Too heavy though. If the Fkn New Guy (FNG) in a unit is big or tall, he is told that he must carry 'the big pig' (SAW). The bolt action, single shot 50 cal. Sniper rifle is intended for point targets and should be deployed with a two man team of sniper and spotter. The narcos probably just use these weapons 'a lo menso' unless they have military training. Anyone with military training who is involved in crime is lower than whale sht and was never really a military man to begin with. ¡Pinches Ratas!

The enemy could even use most of our ammo for big weapons, Ie, we had the .50 cal they had the .51 cal, we had the 81mm mortar, they had the 82 mm mortar, so in about 30% of their weapons they could use our ammo, who ever told you that never served, or served during peace time. US who served who faced the regular NVA remember those soldiers as one of the toughest on earth, just remembering the Dragon NVA battalions gives me the chills, not one single soldier who was in country wants to remember, 44 years after that shit I still have some flashbacks.

    4. In Nam we were trying to prevent communist North Vietnam from taking South Vietnam, which they eventually did. After 16 years in that country from 1959 to 1975 we left. We won the material war but lost the political war because we were unable to install a Democratic government. But at least we tried and we who went are proud of our service, most of us were drafted, didn't have a choice, but we didn't cry and just went.

    5. In case you didn't know anywhere in I Corps you could find Cuban soldiers helping the North Vietnamese soldiers, along with Russian soldiers. Some people talk just because they watch too many war movies, but none of them movies see even close to the real thing and how it was.

  60. El MP el 11 Is still alive Como dice el corrido LA Batalla Del Golfo.. At the end it says if he's dead or alive that's a very good question.. They say that the night he died 2 doctors were tooken hostage and the next day they were found dead.. They say he's still alive but he doesn't have his legs

  61. They make it pretty clear they saw him, likely dead, took him to the hospital for positive ID via DNA, which frankly could've been harvested any number of ways years ago, probably a known family member already busted, and as they waited for confirmationbm El Mayo or one of his own underlings got notice to launch "Mission Fuck You Again Even Though I'm Dead" because it'll keep my legend alive, invincibility intact, your fear of retribution alive forever. Kidnapped two doctors, shot the one who looked strongest, told the other one to retrieve the body/tests discretely or face even worse after watching his family go first. Just don't see Navy taking credit unless they had strong visual confirmation of death by multiple soldier's very familiar with his appearance. And the doctor/hostage thing, like Occam's razor; was the simplest explanation, which made the missing body completely explainable.
