Armed Commmando open fire at Protesters in Los Reyes, Mich.

Borderland Beat

From Various sources
We are getting news from Los Reyes, Michaocan where sources report that at about 1330 hours a convoy of heavily armed commandos opened fire on hundreds of protesters killing at least four or five volunteers who were comprised of the "community Police."  It is reported that a large number of people are said to be injured from the gun fire.

Hundreds of members of  the community had gathered around the city hall plaza to protest the presence of the organized crime, Los Reyes is a strong hold of Knights Templar who rule the region with violence. The protesters were going to take over the city hall and were wanting to relive of duty most of the municipal police.

The armed commando was said to be heavily armed with high powered rifles and shot at the protesters, mainly targeting the Community Police (CP) members providing security. The CP was wearing white shirts with a message of "For a free Los Reyes." Numerous victims were tended and the military and federal police arrived within hours to secure the town.

There is a rumor ciculating among Twitter and Facebook that the commando responsible for the massacre are possibly municipal police of Los Reyes and the mayor of the town had fled the area during the protest. The news from the region is sketchy and the only news coming out is from social networks.

The governor of Michoacán, Jesús Reyna, through his Twitter account said that he spoke with the mayor who assured him that currently the town is in the control of the military and federal police. The military general Alberto Reyes has been assigned to provide security to it's citizens.
There have been increase violent activity in the region and there have been clashes between the CP and the Knights Templar (Caballeros Templarios or CT) who are resisting any effort from all fronts. The CT is fighting to regain lost territory in the region that has prompted President Pena Nieto to reinforce the region with forces from the military and federal police.

People in towns around the region that have no security and can't rely on the municipal police are getting picked out at random and killed. Suspected members of the CT abduct citizens in the middle of the night and execute them before throwing their heads on the street or hanging them on the entrances to the towns.

  1. So much for taking the guns from the honest citizens.if they were allowed to be fully armed they would have thought about it before they opened fire on them.if they had to wonder which citizens had weapons and what kind i dont think it would have been so easy for them.this is a tragedy

  10. This senseless shit is perpetual. That many commandos in a convoy and no one does anything to stop them. Mexico does not want to stop this shit. What a totally fucked up place.
There are plenty of ways to stop it. First admit they have a problem. Second ask the international community for intervention
    Mexico is a failed state.

    2. So you believe mexico hasn't admitted it has a problem yet they began a war against cartels in 2006. Do you have any idea what you are saying? & most if not all this is happening because U.S. does not legalize it. there are only two countries on this hemisphere that havnt legalized drugs. So which society has truely failed? The society that is fighting for freedom? or the synthetic & suicidal society that because of its demand for drugs is crushing another society.

    3. First your ignorant about the world you live in and Mexico is functioning far better than your intelligence level. You obviously dont spend any time in Mexico or expand your knowledge of the country beyond narco blogs. FYI Mexico is functioning and improving beyond most countries in the world. To make such an irresponsible and uninformed decision shows that you've not travelled or even read any world news about countries like Egypt, India, Russia, China, Tunisia, Pakistan, Venezuela, every country in Africa - because if upu had any grasp of reality you would know, Mexico is light years ahead of most countries in the world you live in. I'm in several Mexican cities and towns every month and I regret to disappoint your idiotic belief that its a failed state or that its a fucked up place. It's a country with intelligent and hard working people; and it has a functioning government that is in the unfortunate position of having the largest buyers of dope North of them which empowers the criminal elements with money while the US is peddling guns by the thousands daily to these criminals. Open your eyes and your mind and shut your uninformed mouth.

  12. Why don't you tell them why the Templars are doin the killing. You just say they are picking people up at night and just randomly killing. But dig deeper and you will find that it's only been a couple of people and those people end up being part of the enemy or a relative of their enemy who takes a piece of the buissness. They dont just kill random people. Thats paranoid zetas and paranoid gang bosses who wana kill the foot soldiers before they even get recruited.

  35. 2010, the DEA's budget cashed in at $164 Billion USAD; US Ambassador heard to say "drugs will never be legalized because it will create unemployment, too many will be out of jobs." Asi q gastan por su bendida guerra sucia contra la droga como quien dice, pues. FUCK Drones! Hate & bloodshed is for brainless cowards, hasn't gotten anybody anywhere but deeper in human suffering. El Pueblo Mejicano lo paga tododito, con vida propia. Los gringos, los Phat Cats, andan dichosos de la vida, jodiendo por todos lados, y no les pasa de a mucho q digamos. Drugs aren't illegal because they cause addiction. There's too much money to be made off them as controlled, legal substances. If, you point your finger at drug addiction as the reasoning behind illegal narcotics' laws, you're in error, would suggest a bit of research into The Opium War, the Brit Admiralty & China's Boxer Rebellion, for starters. Drug use isn't the root of addiction, childhood sexual abuse is. Dr. Gabor Matte, Canadian MD & psychatrist, respected for his work w/ addiction, author & pioneer in needle exchange programs & clinics states that in 35 years treating addicts, in every case childhood sexual assaults had occurred. Addicts aren't people who like to party, rumbiar, whatever in certain phases during their lives. These people can walk away from their excesses. An addict really can't. Addiction kills. P rotecting children from predators would do more to lessen drug addiction in the long run than any puta guerra contra la droga. BORDERLAND BEAT gracias & many thank you's for the facts! 37. One of the resons why ct were killing so much people was because they were investigating. What had happen was that a man and his wife that live in Los reyes the man was a big rooster fighter he had a successful restaurant en Los reyes. What had happen was that him and his wife were the ones that were charging the markets money saying that they are frm the ct but really they had no retaliations with them they would dress up in all balck with black face mask and go to the markets and charge them when the pc steped up and got tired of them charging fees in Los reyes the ct's got mad that's one of the reasons they started firing at them in the plaza but they started investigating and they finally found out who it really was. One evning thw ct's went to their restaurant and waited for them to come out they came out the couple as well as their son which is less than 15 years old and they hung the couple they gave they turned in the child to the police with out a scratch they do not kill innocents. The couple was also charging fees in other cities such as cotija de la paz, tingunding and other small ranches. After they handled them there was no more problems in though cities. In la ruana and tecaltepec though we're ct that were charging fees but they told la tuta who they were and la tuta took care of them and orderd them to be killed. I tell you this story from experience my people are frm cotija I lived over there for a couple of years I would go to school and study. I have lots of family in the ct. One of my brother cousins was the second main boss of the plaza of Los reyes michoacan of Los Caballeros Templarios de Michoacan. I tell you this because I would always be with him I even thought about joing a couple of time but I though about it and I was to young. My cusin is now in jail do to peolpe snitching on him he was and is a very good man he is only apart of this group to feed and take care of his family. Michoacan is the most dangerous state right now because of the pc and the millitatys and pfp feds the reason they get in shoot outs with the law is becaues the Mexican military treats you very bad they treat everyone like enimeys and the reason they rather get in shoot outs that give it up is becaues they donot turn you in unless you were someone important they beat you very bad and torcher you they rape who ever they get with the rifles they rape the women not with the rifles and if they no or have you because you are to do with a criminal organization or cartel they just kill you they don't care they kill everyone they are a bunch of assassins who don't care. Ct's just protect them selfs from their enemies such as the cartel de jalisco Nueva generacion there are also lots of them with the pc and as well as Los zetas. I just wanted to tell you guys the truth and let all you guys kno who just talk the truth. Thank you.
