BY: Efren Argüelles

Mexico City, April 17 – An emergency mobilization occurred today due to the discovery of a grenade and two burnt vehicles in front of a house with the street address 156 Bosques de los Continentes in the colony Bosques de Aragón located on the border of the State of Mexico and the Federal District.

At the scene, elements of the Municipal Police, Federal Police, and the Mexican Army arrived, as well as the special team of the Ministry of Public Security (SSPDF), who cordoned off the area and began the initial investigations.

Staff of the Secretariat of Public Security (SSC) reported that inside a Chrysler Voyager with the license plates of “911YUZ”, a grenade was found that was later deactivated.

While this incident is still being investigated, there were no reported injuries resulting from the explosion of the two passenger cars.
