Another "El Diablo" responsible for Carnage in Cancun bar arrested

Borderland Beat
I have a little trouble with the idea that in one day the events at La Sirenita previously attributed to Los Zetas are suddenly attributed to CDG. Hmmm? I didn't author the pieces but thought the abrupt shift out there might interest you. Maybe that's what happens when you get beat up, you conveniently forget who is who, and who you work for too? Obviously  politics are involved here being such a tourist hot spot.- Thanks Havana
Cancun, QR - March 18,The Municipal Preventive Police (PPM) arrested a Gulf Cartel kingpin and former member of that same municipal police organization (PPM). The ex-agent, Héctor Cacique Fernández, is accused of being one of the masterminds of the murder of undersecretary of Taxi Driver Union Conflicts, Andrés, Quintana Roo., Francisco de Asissi Achach Castro

Francisco Achach Castro, and six other people were killed in the popular neighborhood bar La Sirenita.  Ex- Cancun mayor, Magali Achach, confirmed the death of her nephew, Francisco de Asissi Achach Castro 47 in the attack.

State's Attorney Armando Gaspar Garcia Torres reported this morning that the Municipal Public Security and Traffic (SMSPT) made available to the State Attorney General (PGJ)  ex-agent Héctor Cacique Fernández, El Vito, Félix y/o El Diablo, 27, and his chauffeur Maximiliano Ezequiel Millán González, 20

According to García Torres, El Diablo , who was now an instructor of assassins. He and his driver were arrested outside Discoteca Mándala in the hotel zone of Cancun by authorities.

This subject, said the State Attorney, had received his training in Mexico City.

According to the head of the Agency, during the interrogation El Diablo confessed to participating in the conspiracy to kill to Franciso Achach Castro, who was executed on the orders of El Apa, head of the Gulf Cartel plaza.
"It was a direct debt to the boss of this plaza," said the detainee during a news conference shortly after noon. He owed El Apa money.

March 17th version
Cancun. - The gunmen who killed seven people in la Sirena had instructions simply to only kill Francisco Achach Castro, "La Barbie," Under Secretary of Taxi Drivers' Disputes Union, but the gunmen went crazy, as reported on Sunday by the States Attorney General of Quintana Roo, Armando Gaspar Garcia Torres,  During interrogation, it was learned that the events of March 14 were to be directed at  just one person, but seven people ended up dead,

Hector Fernandez Cacique "El Diablo", had the charge of killing  Francisco Achach Castro "El Barbie", "because he owed  Apa money," referring to the the head of Zetas plaza in Cancun.
The detainee, "El Diablo",  a 27-year-old Matias Romero, Oaxaca native , belonging to the Zetas criminal group, in charge of collecting fees for "dues" from traders in the city tourist zpne of Cancun. He confessed that he gave instructions in an envelope containing a photo of the one person who would be executed

He was also in charge of training the gunmen in handling weapons  in the community of Francisco Mayo, as shown in a video that was found on his cell phone.
For his service,  another person was hired as a driver, named Ezequiel  Maximiliano Millan Gonzalez, 20 years old from Cancun, whom "El Diablo" met on a football field, and he was also involved in collecting extortion.
However, El Diablo told his immediate boss, an assassin known as the " El Caballo,"  El Apa's lieutenant, that he had no weapons, and he was relieved of the responsibility of taking charge of murder.  A hitman known Roger Gabriel Alfaro Pacheco "El Humo",  was assigned that job and he is related to several executions in Cancun. El Humo was reported "to have gone crazy with a goats horn."
The two detainees were presented Sunday afternoon with evidence of having been tortured.
Hector Cacique Fernandez had bruises on his face and even had his left eye closed and swollen.

When they were stopped by the Tourist Police early Saturday, the two subjects were photographed by Benito Juarez Public Safety and showed no obvious bumps.
Twenty-four hours later, when presented by the Attorney General of Quintana Roo, it was evident that they had been beaten.

In Summary:  El Diablo was ex-municipal police, CDG capo (?) who was recruited by los Zetas to be an instructor of sicarios in the community of Francisco Mayo in Isla Mujeres. He also earned between $15,000 and $20,000 pesos a month from collection of extortion fees at bars and clubs in the city hotel zone.  One of El Apa's lieutenants, El Caballo, instructed el Diablo to execute La Barbie but the instruction order was changed and given to El Humo who went a little crazy with the goat's horn. Garcia Torres said he is still investigating the origin of the debt for which La Barbie alleged owed El Apa. It opened the possibility that the cabbie union leader may also be involved in organized crime

  1. all taxi union leaders in Mexico are involved with cartels, either by will or by threat

  2. Loops! Some one got a little carried away with an AK. It's so hard to find good help these days. I would assign him to attend some additional training. As for 'El Diablo', it stinks that all of the good monikers are already taken!

  3. You got that right Havana. Politics is the only reason for such an abrupt change here but why would not el Proceso and other papers question that States Attorney of Q. Roo? Because they don't want to be targeted by Los Zetas like the Taxi Unions? Good one.

  4. Havana was reluctant to post this, but I encouraged her. I feel strongly the media was manipulated once again to refract the facts and in this case who is truly responsible. Letra has the territory it is not believable that CDG would come in and kill 7 of the taxi union that letra was having issues with. Illogical.

What I believe is what I stated before Cancun is nothing without tourism, and the spring break timing could not be worse for them, they had to "solve" the case quickly or perhaps go down the path of Acapulco, when Zetas have a territory they control everything in the territory.

I am disappointed that the story got little attention in Mx and also in the US. I just don't understand why US media would not be all over this as it is one of the most frequented travel destinations. That said, Cancun remains a safe place to visit but people must be informed that there are problems.

  5. Look at these scrubs?1 or 2 killed 6 or 7 other dudes? Its a shame the taxi drivers didn't arm themselves, even if the taxi drivers were involved and holdin out, surely they knew this could happen?Either way, they were still being targeted in some way
Whats up with these motherfuckers eyebrows? They look like the missing link of humans?Monobrows, they look like something out of a cavemean movie. When they talked they reportedly said"ugg ugg"and used chalk to draw on the floor.El Diablo has to get a cut, style, and blow dry on his eyebrows, and thats every week or so.
The barber was getting rich off Diablos eyebrows.

  6. Its sad and crazy shit, its as if Mexicans are fair game for"cartel"gunmen to prey on,but do not touch US visitors or anyone else?We US citizens are not the enemy of Mexicans,it is cartel Mexicans who are Mexico's enemy. As for tourism, the ordinary Mexican won't care that much about tourism,,,rich visitors sauntering about, job creation;carrying our bags, hotels that the ordinary Mexican will never see the inside of,unless they are making the bed or cleaning it,,,but,,,it is an economy that creates money and some jobs, but,if this nonsense is allowed to continue, even that may dwindle to non-viability,another cash stream cut off.

    1. Most ordinary Mexicans take their families to Cancun for vacation... Maybe you are referring to the 20% that lives in poberty when you say they will never see te inside of these hotels, but that is certainly neither most nor ordinary!

  9. I commented a few days ago about the Caballeros Templarios having a lot of pull in southern California. people seem to think im a CT nut hugger and making up stories, I am not. I am speaking from experience being that FBI swarmed an armored Tahoe when I was right behind it and I almost shit myself. I kept researching what happened and finally I found on the internet they found the templarios with AR and gold AK and no drugs. They openly admitted they are from CT but since they have dual citizenship they can stay. They are already out of jail and this happened maybe 5 months ago. So tell me whos worse America or Mexico. At least they know how messed up it is in Mexico. Here in the US people seem to think that nothing is happening. Please research about CT in so cal especially in the IE before you comment how the virtually non existent EME is running LA.

    1. EME runs all latino street gangs in southern california from prison man get it straight. You dont see EME tags on the walls. When you see X-13 tagged that is Surenos aka EME. They literally run the prisons in so cal. So if any cartel members go to prison they must obey EME no matter what. EME does hits for cartels in the US for $$, not because they are ordered.

  12. not drivers, the story said it was one driver targeted, but i guess the mexican habit of judging guilty by association. anyway, since i have been folowing this stuff, i dont recall many stories stating that the detainees had appeared to have been beaten that is a nice little touch

  14. I'm guessing the confessions could be true. See I think that mex. does try to go after these dudes, even tho its through torture it's gonna get the job done. It not the first time I hear this about the military. My uncle was working for the zetas and he got caught by the military then they beat him with a paddle in Vera Cruz by the marines lol

  15. the ct bust about 5 months ago did happen.its true, those guys r free now.they were to get caught.they said themselfs we are caballeros templarios under orders of our cartel and allies chapo guzman n mayo zambada,n there people..we r not here to harm or kill innocents,we just do business unlike those pussies los zetas..and the control IE,well control i could say n its a distribucion company for them

  16. I meant to comment last night. The manipulation of facts is the story here for sure. Pointing that out is appreciated greatly. I love the way the big, mainstream city press doesn't even mention el humo who went 'a little crazy with the AK.' Like no problem, it happens!

CDG Diablo got a lot to answer for,are all these idiots trying to emulate him in some way?We are being naive if we think these guys haven't seen the same videos everyone else has seen all over the net.
It did bring CDG Diablo a type of bizarre notoriety, look at the interest his name generates now even though it has always been a widely used name it now denotes something more, even by association.

  19. There are enough " El Diablos' to fill a soccer stadium in Mexico. Everyone should realize all nicknames are as repeated as much as first and last names in Mexico. Little is original not even the brutality and frequency of their crimes.

  20. Is this fat guy really 27? They could have beaten him more?

    1. Whoah! Intersting info. There. Do officiales on both sides of the border know which groups are resposible for human trafficking not just cartels with emigrants but those destined to be sex slaves.. I can't tell how aware authorities are? Is it lack of resources or corruption that leaves so many girls kidnapped and forced into sex slavery? Do you know

  23. Chicano gangs are no joke went it comes to violence, drug trafficking, or any other crime racket out there. If Mexican American prison gangs are willing to go to battle with home made shanks, when I mean battle I mean battle as in war, imagine what they could do with AK's/AR-15's. Gangs like Mexican Mafia, Nuestra Familia, Texas Syndicate, La Raza Unida control U.S. prisons and the neighborhoods in which they predominante. Nobody should doubt these gangs ability to hold their own If the need arose, including México's cartels.

  26. Even though I owe none of you any explanation I will be the bigger man and post proof if Chivis will let me. The links to articles and police reports etc. The CT are here in LA IE and most of SO CAL. EME does not run California bro, they never have. It is strictly a prison thing for the most part. They have no structure, It has turned into a bunch of young guys claiming it to keep their Culo safe in the Pen. Any EME selling get their product from MEX, and Cartels are not slaughtering people over turf(in the sense EME supposedly does) and over colors or "disrespect" they are in it for business. La Eme is NOT TRAINED IN MILITARY TACTICS!!!! they are a prison gang not even a street gang and tney would not be effective in a war. The hammer effect would not even apply to them because they are not trained in combat situations.

"20% that lives in poberty(sic)Most ordinary Mexicans take their families to Cancun for vacation"
Grow up you idiot,it isn't an indictment of Mexico?Fool, getting defensive,so 80% of the population of Mexico have no money worries to speak of?80% of Mexico are doing just fine, and take their families to Acapulco and Cancun every year?My god, what a fuckin idiot. Most developed countries would envy those kind of stats. Then again, your probably thinking it was some kind of veiled criticism,it was facts, the same kind of facts that apply to Jamaica,Cuba,Barbados,South East Asia,India,Pakistan,Sri Lanka, etc, etc, anyway fuck off
